At the heart of Camden’s response to street homelessness, the Rough Sleepers Hub Assessment Centre at 165 King’s Cross Road offers people a safe, supportive place to begin their journey away from the streets. With 16 beds and a short-stay model focused on planned moves within 28 days, this service is about momentum, opportunity and change. As a Project Worker, you’ll play a central role in helping people take their next steps towards secure and sustainable housing.
Working in a psychologically informed and trauma-aware environment, you’ll lead a caseload and carry out meaningful assessments that place each person’s experiences, strengths and goals at the centre. You’ll develop personalised support plans, respond thoughtfully to complex situations, and offer practical, hands-on support - from daily living tasks and wellbeing, to housing pathways, training and employment opportunities. You’ll work closely with partners including Connect Forward, In Roads and Camden Routes off the Streets to deliver joined-up, holistic support that makes a real difference.

Family Action & the Role’s Impact:
We are seeking a Peer Mentoring Coordinator to develop and manage our new LGBTQ+ Peer Mentoring Programme, training and supporting Project Indigo members to become mentors in the local community.
Project Indigo is the LGBTQ+ youth service based at Off Centre at Family Action. It is open to anyone aged 16-25 who identifies as LGBTQ+ or is exploring their sexuality or gender identity. Our weekly youth group is a safe, supportive space for LGBTQ+ young people to meet each other and participate in workshops and activities. In addition to the youth group, Project Indigo offers 1-to-1 support and advice sessions with the Project Lead. The group aims to support young people to build links with the local LGBTQ+ community, build meaningful relationships and get support around issues that are impacting them. Project Indigo maintains a youth-led and person-centred approach, with this role being developed in consultation with our members to support them in accessing training and support to do community-focused work. The Peer Mentoring Coordinator’s role will be to develop a new Peer Mentoring Programme, supporting older Project Indigo members to train as mentors and deliver mentoring sessions with younger LGBTQ+ people in the local community.
Off Centre is a service that provides a range of targeted mental health focused support services to young people aged 16 to 25 who reside/are registered with a City and Hackney GP. These include: individual, counselling and psychotherapy, individual and group art psychotherapy, key-work support, out of hours drop-in service on Thursday evenings; targeted provision for children and young people of African, Caribbean and mixed heritage (ACH); and an Information and Advice provision.
The role
As the Peer Mentoring Coordinator, you will develop and lead Project Indigo’s Peer Mentoring Programme. Central to the role will be understanding young mentors’ needs and goals, and providing high quality supervisory support throughout the training and mentoring process. You will further develop the Mentoring programme, consulting with relevant organisations, liaising with partners, and keeping accurate records to monitor progress for administrative and evaluative purposes.
Your impact
This role will enrich Project Indigo’s holistic offer by providing young people with the opportunity to access training, qualifications and work experience while receiving high quality support tailored to their needs. You will offer sensitive supervisory support to young LGBTQ+ mentors, supporting their diverse need by maintaining an empathetic, intersectional and youth-led approach.
Your skills
You will be a confident communicator with proven experience of working in a supportive role with LGBTQ+ young people and/or evidence of in-depth knowledge of issues relating to LGBTQ+ young people, in particular trans and gender diverse young people.
You will be empathetic and maintain an understanding of the social issues impacting young LGBTQ+ people. You will have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage your time and workload effectively. You will have an understanding of risk management, health and safety issues and the ability in accordance with local and organisational safeguarding policies.

What could my day look like?
The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.
In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.
As an Education Worker, you’ll always be delivering the programme as part of your centre team, which means that any delivery is always a team effort.

Your role includes visiting individuals in their homes or community settings, creating effective interventions for those who are hard to engage, and encouraging involvement with community and faith-based networks. You will support access to medical and mainstream services, complete and review needs and risk assessments, and work to reduce unplanned hospital admissions. You will also develop and review support plans collaboratively and liaise with external agencies to ensure coordinated care.

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated team to deliver person centred and bespoke trauma informed support to vulnerable women in Luton. This new service will provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for women facing sexual exploitation and substance dependency – a place they can truly call home. Through stable, person-centred care, you'll play a vital role in empowering women to rebuild their lives and embrace brighter futures.
In this role, as a Support Mentor, you will work within a 24 hour service which provided person centred support to our residents, working to ensure the safety and wellbeing. Our residents have experienced multiple forms of exclusion, such as historical/ongoing abuse, involvement in the criminal justice system, mental health challenges, drug and/or alcohol dependency and enduring high levels of violence and coercion. You will build trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins. Your role will focus on empowering our residents to take control over their lives and meet their personal goals
Responsibilities include:
- Holding a caseload, conducting key work sessions which are personable to resident needs
- Carry out regular welfare checks, safeguarding checks, and general living checks
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and events both within the service and the community
- Keep support plans up to date on a regular basis
- Work closely with the rest of the team to provide overall excellent service delivery, this may mean also supporting with their caseloads, and other tasks as necessary
- Building trusting professional relationships with residents, helping them to achieve their goals and aspirations which could be through tailored one to one sessions, group sessions, in and out of service activities, and general wellbeing check ins.

About You

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role, providing strategic and practical leadership across
income generation and financial management. Fundraising and sustainability are shared
responsibilities at Stay Up Late — this role leads and coordinates that work, helping us focus
on what will have the greatest impact while ensuring strong, proportionate financial
oversight.
You’ll bring senior charity finance experience, a good understanding of income generation,

Who we are:
We want to create a world filled with wildlife, and we do this through pioneering community engagement and Rewilding Our Future. For us, rewilding is about rewilding people as well as rewilding nature, reconnecting communities to the natural world and restoring functional ecosystems through habitat restoration and species reintroductions.
From our work to reintroduce beavers to London for the first time in 400 years, to restoring river catchments with water voles, we focus on interventions that create real ecological change on the ground. We support landscape-scale recovery too, from bringing back iconic species such as white storks and working on wider habitat restoration across East Anglia.
The need
To grow Citizen Zoo sustainably, we need to grow our secure unrestricted income. Our monthly, direct debit membership currently brings in around £10k per year, and we’re aiming to grow this towards £60K per year within the first 12 months (or 1,000 equivalent members), through improved digital acquisition, better retention, and a strong on-the-ground recruitment presence across London.

You are equally comfortable improving a digital join journey and writing supporter comms, and getting out in the field, setting up a stand at events, speaking to the public and signing people up to monthly direct debits. You’re motivated by building something that compounds: a membership base that grows every month and funds rewilding for years to come.
The Team & The Role
We’re a not-for-profit social enterprise with a team who mostly work from home in London. You’ll work as part of this remote team from home, our shared desk spaces in central London, and out on the ground at events, partner venues and project sites across the city and beyond. You’ll work closely with delivery and communications colleagues to turn audiences (visitors, volunteers, event attendees, online supporters) into loyal members, and ensure members receive a positive, joined-up experience that retains them long term.
What you’ll do
You will own and deliver a data-led membership growth plan that increases acquisition, improves retention, and grows member value (including upgrades from £3 → £5/month over time). You’ll sharpen Citizen Zoo’s membership proposition so it clearly connects supporters to our impact, and you’ll turn that into campaigns and activity that consistently convert interest into monthly direct debits.
Digitally, you’ll create and optimise the online join journey (landing pages, forms and messaging) and run recruitment activity across email and social. You’ll work with agency partners to plan and launch Meta and/or Google campaigns, shape and iterate creative, manage a monthly marketing budget, and improve cost-per-join and conversion rates through ongoing performance monitoring.
For retention, you’ll build joined-up supporter journeys from welcome/onboarding through impact updates, renewal/retention thorough engagement and exclusive membership offerings, upgrade prompts and lapsed reactivation. You’ll use segmentation and insight to keep communications relevant, strengthen the member experience, and reduce churn.
On the ground, you’ll lead in-person recruitment across Greater London at events, fairs, community days and partner sites, setting up an effective stand, engaging the public, and signing people up to direct debit. You’ll keep improving the recruitment “kit” (scripts, FAQs, signage, QR codes and follow-up journeys) and coordinate volunteer/colleague support when needed.
Ideal candidates will also focus on lifetime value (LTV) of supporting members and as such be able to work towards an appropriate cost-per-acquisition target (CPA).
Minimum requirements
- Full UK driving licence (hard requirement), candidates will not be considered without one (please ensure you list this on your CV).
- Demonstrable experience growing income or supporters through membership, regular giving, direct marketing, subscriptions, fundraising, or performance marketing.
- Experience delivering campaigns across digital channels (email/social), and using data/insight to improve results.
- Confidence in communicating with the public, including proactively starting conversations and handling objections.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams independently.
- Willingness to travel across Greater London and work occasional evenings/weekends (time off in lieu provided).
Preferred requirements
- Experience managing a membership scheme (acquisition + retention) with clear performance targets.
- Experience using a CRM or ticketing/membership platform (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Spektrix, Tessitura or similar).
- Experience running or supporting face-to-face fundraising/membership recruitment at events.
- Experience managing external suppliers (design/print/digital) and working with paid social agencies.
- Understanding of GDPR-consistent supporter communications and supporter care best practice.
Success measures (first year)
In your first 12 months, success will look like building a repeatable membership growth engine that consistently brings in new direct debits through a combination of digital campaigns and in-person recruitment, while improving retention so income compounds over time.
You will be expected to help grow membership income from around £10k/year towards £60K/year, supported by clear monthly targets, a functioning reporting dashboard, and evidence-based optimisation of messaging, channels, and supporter journeys. You’ll also put in place a retention programme that reduces churn and increases lifetime value, so membership becomes a reliable, scalable source of unrestricted funding for Citizen Zoo’s rewilding work.
Working Hours
At Citizen Zoo we have standard working hours from 09:00–17:30, but team members can start earlier or later if agreed with your line manager. This role will require occasional evening and weekend work, particularly around events and recruitment opportunities, and this is given back as time off in lieu.
Location
Must be able to travel regularly across all of London, and across other parts of Greater London, to deliver events and recruitment activity.

The Service User Network (SUN) is an innovative, community-based service providing open-access, facilitated peer support groups for people experiencing emotional difficulties, isolation, and unhelpful behavioural patterns. Based on therapeutic community principles, SUN actively involves members in running, developing, and evaluating the service.
Beyond support groups, SUN offers social events, focus groups, community meetings, and a regular newsletter, fostering a safe, empowering, and inclusive environment for members.

The Role
The SUN facilitator with lived experience will be working closely with a SUN specialist clinician to deliver regular Service User Network (SUN) support groups in different community-based locations across Surrey and North East Hampshire.
SUN provides community-based, open access facilitated peer support groups and aims to help people develop effective ways of coping and improve their relationship with themselves and others.
As a SUN Facilitator, you will:
- C-deliver regular SUN support groups in the community, both face to face and online
- Work in collaboration with the co-facilitator and the SUN members, within support groups
- Use own lived experience of mental health problems associated with a diagnosis of personality disorder to support the development and knowledge of the service and wider services.
- Contribute to ensuring that any potential risk is being constantly assessed within a culture of positive risk taking and shared responsibility.
- Contribute to team supervision and business meetings and consider information regarding the safety and wellbeing of the people who access the service.
- Co-lead on different areas of the service on a rota basis, i.e., reporting, outreach, and member involvement.
- Actively engage in 1:1 check-ins and managerial supervisions.
SUN facilitators receive regular supervision and ongoing support to sustain this emotionally rewarding role.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Personal lived experience of mental health issues associated with personality disorder
- Previous experience of working within a professional environment
- Ability to reflect on and appropriately share your own life experiences and personal experiences of mental ill health as part of the facilitating role of the groups
