Role Purpose
The Finance Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the charity, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, robust financial controls, and timely financial reporting. Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping and Financial Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using appropriate accounting software.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including income, expenditure, bank reconciliations, and petty cash.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in line with financial procedures.
- Monitor cash flow and flag any concerns to the CEO.
- Payroll and expenses responsibility
Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Support the CEO in developing and monitoring the annual organisational budget.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and finanical reporting for grant and tender applications as requested.
- Track expenditure against budgets and provide regular updates.
Financial Reporting and Governance
- Prepare quarterly financial reports for the Board of Trustees.
- Contribute to the annual budget report for trustee approval.
- Support year-end financial processes, including preparation for independent examination or audit.
- Ensure financial records meet charity and regulatory requirements.
Procurement and Ordering
- Source suppliers and obtain quotes for subscriptions, resources, services and any other relevant needs.
- Place orders for materials and equipment (e.g. laptops, office equipment) in line with budget approvals.
- Maintain records of assets and equipment.
Support to the CEO and Organisation
- Work closely with the CEO on financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Provide financial information and analysis to support organisational planning.

Person Specification
Essential
- Qualified and experienced bookkeeper (e.g. AAT or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience of bookkeeping and financial administration, ideally within a charity or not-for-profit setting.
- Experience of preparing budgets and financial reports.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Experience with bookkeeping software such as “Zero”
- Good IT skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.

Working Arrangements
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office-based and home working subject to performance, needs of the charity and agreement. Working days are flexible, with a preference for Monday, Wednesday, and/or Friday, subject to agreement.

This is far more than a technical finance role. As a key member of the SMT, the Director of Finance will hold collective responsibility for the overall leadership, culture, performance, and strategic direction of the organisation, working collaboratively with fellow senior leaders to ensure our values shape decision-making at every level.

About You

The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.

- Support staff development, wellbeing and morale through effective supervision, appraisal, performance management and engagement
- Manage resident applications, fees, contracts and family communications, ensuring excellent customer care and responsive complaint handling
- Take responsibility for health, safety and compliance matters when on duty, including fire safety and liaison with external bodies
- Oversee property, maintenance and supplier relationships, working with Property Services to ensure the home is safe and well maintained
- Provide visible leadership in the pastoral and spiritual life of the home, supporting devotions, community engagement and relationships with local churches.
Skills/Experience:
- Willing and able to take a lead in maintaining the Christian ethos of the home;
- Management experience in a business setting;
- Comfortable with writing business communications to staff and residents as well as authorities etc;
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels whilst maintaining confidentiality;
- Ability to lead, motivate and encourage staff to give of their best, and have people-leadership and management experience;
- Able to work under pressure and provide calmness in all situations;
- IT literate ( including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet);
- Willing to be flexible in the working pattern and are prepared to participate in training and attend relevant staff meetings.

Hours:
40 hours a week, usually worked over 5 days.

About the Role
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will drive Baytree’s corporate fundraising by developing innovative partnership opportunities, nurturing strong relationships, and securing income and strategic support. You will work closely with the Fundraising & Communications Director to shape and deliver the organisation’s corporate partnerships strategy. This is a hands‑on and impact‑driven role for someone who enjoys relationship‑building, strategic thinking, and contributing to a mission supporting women and girls.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Acquisition & Stewardship
- Identify, secure, and grow new corporate partnerships delivering income, pro bono support, gifts‑in‑kind, and strategic value.
- Create compelling pitches, proposals, and case studies.
- Steward existing partners and produce high‑quality impact reports.
Fundraising Campaigns & Events
- Lead the planning and delivery of major fundraising campaigns (e.g., The Big Give, Baytree anniversaries).
Cross‑Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to align partnerships with organisational priorities.
- Coordinate with service delivery to offer opportunities such as career insight days and work experience.
- Partner with the Volunteer Manager to deliver purposeful corporate volunteering.
Other Responsibilities
- Ensure GDPR compliance and accurate reporting on Views and Beacon CRM.

The Intensive Support Refuge Manager (ISM) is responsible for the effective leadership and management of Pathway Project’s two Women’s Refuges in South Staffordshire, delivering high-quality, trauma-informed accommodation-based support to women and children fleeing domestic abuse.
She will provide driven operational and strategic leadership across both sites, ensuring safety, consistency of practice, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability and excellent outcomes for residents. She will be supported by a Head of Operations, Deputy Refuge Managers, Senior Support, Refuge staff and volunteers.
She will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to support Pathway Project’s evolving strategy and commitment to excellence in service delivery.
