Kineara is looking for an experienced Communications Manager who can grow our fundraising potential and engage key stakeholders across the sector, while shaping and delivering communications and outreach campaigns that demonstrate our social value proposition and grow our support base. They will play a key role in helping Kineara grow our communications channels, increase audience engagement, expand our fundraising potential through data-driven campaigns and powerful storytelling; and build strategic relationships with existing and potential funders.

You will work closely with project managers and the Senior Leadership Team to shape communications around our key delivery areas including identifying how support services can reduce barriers to secure housing, work and school; prevent evictions and homelessness; and improve health and wellbeing of people facing challenges. You’ll use this understanding and data to shape impact storytelling and communications with existing and new stakeholders.

You will feel real ownership over your work and need to be self-starting, flexible and hungry to grow within an already impactful charity with a strong social mission and vision. You will be keen to understand how our work makes a difference to people and use our impact to demonstrate our social value.This role crosscuts a range of key specialisations, so you may have experience working in communications and be keen to widen your skillset; you may have a background in impact evaluation, you may have experience in curating digital content for charities; or you may have worked in fundraising or development for a non-profit. Key Responsibilities 

Communications & PR 

• Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s presence across its wide audiences and expand its fundraising potential

• Manage digital content strategy for Kineara, including producing short from video content, promotional videos, infographics, interviews, thought leadership, impact storytelling, case studies etc. to grow Kineara’s digital and social media footprint 

• Work collaboratively with practitioners and the housing projects manager to regularly develop and publish information sheets, resources and content on Kineara’s website

• Plan and manage campaigns and petitions that influence policy and shape key decisions affecting our client group 

• Ensure consistent implementation of Kineara’s brand messaging across all organisational engagements, campaigns, and materials, in alignment with Kineara’s identity, mission, vision, and core values. 

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to proactively promote Kineara’s work, including identifying relevant media opportunities, pitching compelling stories, responding to media inquiries 

• Work closely with IT and business managers to ensure smooth running of internal communications 

• Maintain and expand Kineara’s website and its functionality to meet the growing needs of the organisation 

Fundraising 

• Develop positive relationships with a range of stakeholders providing funding to charities, including in the third sector, public sector, and the business sector, to raise awareness and promote our work 

• Contribute to grant and tender applications, and manage and coordinate work of external consultants supporting grant writing process where applicable 

• Manage and administer online fundraising platforms, and develop accessible, persuasive campaigns for public donations. 

Impact 

• Work closely with Operations Manager and practitioners to embed outcomes, utilise and optimise frameworks for monitoring and evaluate Kineara’s projects; and produce yearly evaluations and Impact Report of Kineara’s services 

• Utilise CRM software such as Advice Pro to generate data-driven impact analysis and develop evidence-based communications materials for donors, funders and stakeholders

• Use learning from impact analysis to share with team and deliver impact-driven communications and to share our social value to funders and other stakeholders. 

Business 

• Contribute to development of business plans and strategic decision-making, working with the CEO, Finance Lead and Operations Lead (SLT)

Experience and Skills 

We’d like to see a strong track record that is relevant to each of the key components of the role, although we recognise that you may have stronger experience in one or more areas. You will be able to demonstrate that you could deliver in:
 

• Planning, executing, achieving targets to grow income streams, including donor prospect research, developing new donor relationships, and grant writing.
• Working on effective online or offline fundraising campaigns that influence a range of stakeholders, with a reflective, creative and innovative approach. 
• Using impact and outcomes to engage and promote services to funders, partners and other stakeholders.
• Developing brands and brand awareness in line with organisational objectives 
• Creating communications plans in support of strategic objectives, and executing these to a high standard, reflecting and improving these to achieve greater impact. 
• Familiarity with social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook and solid experience of content creation and website management
• Creating and executing community, outreach and fundraising events. 
• Strong IT skills and familiarity with CRM databases, MS Office, Word Press.
• Ability to put together and manage project budgets.
• Creating, developing and adapting outcomes tools such as survey, questionnaires, and focus groups 
• Planning, creating and executing evaluations of projects, including creating surveys, events, questionnaires and feedback tools

The Head of Community Services Development will lead the growth and evolution of Day One’s national offer for people affected by serious and life-changing injury, while designing and implementing a new service to support individuals transitioning from Hospital to Home. The post holder should combine strategic leadership with hands on service design and development expertise, ensuring the national offer becomes the charity’s returning home service in line with the new strategy for 2026-2029. Newly designed services will deliver high-quality, compassionate support and that are well designed, evidence-based and responsive to the real world needs of people with serious and life-changing injury. Working closely with the Head of Lived Experience, to ensure lived experience insight is central to all design and implementation, and that new pathways complement Day One’s existing Peer Support model.

We are recruiting for an Operations Manager to oversee the DRIVE project.

Drive is an innovative national project that aims to improve the lives and safety of victims and children, by holding high-risk perpetrators to account. The project combines case management of perpetrators with a co-ordinated multi-agency response.

The Drive Partnership, formed by Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance, is working to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. They work to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm. Together they have developed the Drive Project to address a gap in work with high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic abuse. They also work to advocate for systems and policy change- to develop sustainable, national systems that respond more effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

About the role:

This role is based in Cumbria.

As a Perpetrator Service Operations Manager you will oversee 4 Case Managers and 2 IDVA's. You will:

• ensure that all support and advice given is in line with Drive Partnership key messages and strategic objectives.
• contribute to the development of the Drive model through service reviews, supporting the Drive Partnership in delivery challenges and implementation of changes to the Drive operational model.
• act as a champion for Drive across the area in all aspects of development and delivery. You will be expected to represent the service at local and national events; deliver training and presentations as appropriate.
• support the Commissioner and Drive Central Team in identifying and securing resources and implementing future funding plans agreed for the service.
• be passionate and committed to working within a multi-disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need service users. This may be within the field of domestic abuse, and/or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

You will need:

• previous experience leading projects and developing new service provision.
• the ability to complete reliable and timely reports and meet deadlines.
• to be able to manage your own workload.
• to be a confident decision maker.
• to be able to ensure fairness and consistency.

The nuts and bolts of the job:

· The essence of this role is making sure the wonderful people who fundraise in our community are so well nurtured they’ll want to carry on supporting us for years to come. Your focus will be community groups, as well as all areas of community fundraising and beyond.

· You’ll be out and about in the local area, meeting, thanking, speaking publicly, telling stories and spreading the word about the vital work Claire House does.

· We absolutely treasure our volunteers and you will to. You’ll be in this job for less than a week before you’ll be thanking your lucky stars for the legends who give up their time to help us be in multiple places at once. Looking after their needs is an important part of the role because their success is yours too.

· We do our best to make decisions that are backed up by good quality information (data and insight) which helps keep us on the right track. It’s important you have a keen interest in this too. Keeping on top of supporter journeys ensures they get the warm glow they deserve.

· Being able to drive is absolutely crucial to this role, as is the freedom to work some evenings and weekends.

The role

As a Community Fundraiser, you will be the face of St Richard’s Hospice in the community, you will help our wonderful fundraisers and inspiring new supporters to raise money for the charity, always ensuring they receive the best possible supporter experience. You will be part of the wider Income Generation team, contributing to our shared goals and income targets.

A key part of the role will be to deliver fundraising with strong financial impact: achieving a 3:1 return on investment within two years, ensuring activities are cost-efficient, effective, and sustainable.

Flexibility will be required for evening and weekend working as well as the ability to travel locally to events, meetings or fundraising activities. This role is based at the Hospice, Wildwood Drive, Worcester.

The role will also include;

• Build and nurture relationships with local fundraisers, community groups, schools, faith groups and local organisations.
• Plan and deliver fundraising activities with clear financial targets and measurable impact.
• Represent the hospice at local events, cheque presentations and talks, sharing the difference our supporters make.
• Set, monitor and report on fundraising performance metrics, particularly the goal of delivering a 3:1 return on investment for this role over two years.
• Recruit, train and support volunteer fundraisers and community ambassadors.
• Ensure all fundraising is carried out ethically and in line with regulations.

About you

You will bring;

• Experience in fundraising, community engagement, or volunteer coordination.

• Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across Worcestershire.

Although not compulsory, the ideal candidate will have previous experience within the charity sector, delivering income generating activities, with knowledge and awareness of the fundraising regulations and codes of practice.
