About the role

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will be supporting victims of domestic abuse, who live in Central Bedfordshire. This role will be part of our other wider specialist services covering Bedfordshire.

As an IDVA you will be:

• Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service trough individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
• Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
• Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training

You will need:

• Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
• To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
• To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

Our Advocacy services

We provide advocacy direct to children and young people in a variety of situations. Coram Voice provides visiting advocacy services to most of the secure units nationally, to Secure Training Centres, Juvenile Young Offender Institutions, psychiatric hospitals, residential special schools and children’s homes.

About the Role

We are looking for an Advocate to join our team in London. We are seeking applicants who have transferable skills, a willingness to learn, a desire to promote the rights of children and young people or already have an IAP City and Guilds Level 3 or IAQ City and Guilds Level 4 in Advocacy.

You will work directly with children and young people in, and on the edges, of care, providing them with advocacy support in the community and a variety of settings.

You will empower and support them to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that effect their lives.

You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, carers, other stakeholders and most importantly children and young people.

About the role

This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff.

As a Caseworker you will be: -

• Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred service users, delivering excellent services which support service goals to victims. Where relevant to undertake initial proactive contact with victims, explaining VS services and promoting the benefits of accessing support.
• Ensuring each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions.
• Undertaking risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.

Job Description:  Fundraising Officer

Line Manager:Director of Engagement and Education

Salary:£40,000-£45,000 per annum (pro rata if part time)

Normal place of work:The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, Norfolk, with some flexibility for hybrid working (1-2 days per week remote)

Hours:40 hours per week (may include weekends and Bank Holidays as required)

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and deliver innovative multichannel fundraising campaigns that grow income, engage new audiences, and maximise support across individual giving, community fundraising, legacy, and in-memory programmes.
• Champion a test and-learn approach, using data, insight, and supporter feedback to enhance the supporter experience, strengthen engagement, and drive long-term value.

About you:

• Proven experience developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies, managing multiproduct programmes, and overseeing budgets to achieve sustainable income growth.
• Extensive expertise in individual giving, supporter acquisition, and multichannel fundraising, with a strong track record of creating engaging supporter journeys and growing fundraising performance across digital and traditional channels.
• Experience developing legacy, in-memory, and community fundraising programmes, supported by excellent supporter stewardship and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and technical capability, including the use of CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics to deliver targeted campaigns, supporter segmentation, performance reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Good understanding of the opportunities and challenges of fundraising within complex organisations, including membership based or geographically dispersed structures, with experience in the charity sector highly desirable.
• Up to-date knowledge of fundraising regulation, compliance, and best practice, combined with proven people management skills and the ability to motivate, develop, and support high-performing teams.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham is a thriving, dynamic community charity supporting asylum seekers, refugees and migrants across South East London. This is an exciting new role to the organisation forming a senior management team alongside the Executive Director, Casework Manager and Education and Finance Manager. Job Purpose:

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

About the Role

As a Caseworker you will provide high quality support to victims of crime and anti-social behaviour, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic. You will also contribute to providing cover for the local VS Helpline.

During initial training and whilst awaiting police vetting the successful candidate will be required to work 1 day a week from our office based in the Vassall Centre in Fishponds, Bristol. When vetting has completed the job location will be Keynsham Police Station, with occasional working days from the Vassall Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage a caseload of self-referrals or referred victims.

• Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice.
• Identify barriers to individuals accessing our services and determine solutions. Working with existing multi-agency partners to which victims can be referred for ongoing and specialist support.
• To work alongside a team of staff and volunteers to reflect the diverse community and the needs of the victims, including those with particular vulnerabilities, to deliver individual, bespoke services with respect, dignity and sensitivity.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case records, complying with data protection and all other legislation connected to your work and sharing protocols where necessary.
