About the Role
As Digital Marketing Assistant, you will support the Digital Marketing and wider Digital teams in their day-to-day delivery of the digital marketing strategy across owned, paid and earned channels. You will work closely with the Social Media, Content and Fundraising Coordinators on content generation for digital marketing channels, focusing on appealing to target audiences and current supporters in a positive and engaging way.
Your main duties include:
- Assisting with the generation of content for digital marketing channels.
- Writing and editing social media copy for all departments.
- Creating digital content in its various forms including video and images, using photo and video editing software as required.
- Monitoring incoming social media activity including comments and direct messages.
- Assisting with the delivery of fundraising and commercial activities.
- Helping to research and introduce new and effective digital trends to ensure the charity is using digital marketing channels in the most engaging way.
- Assisting the Digital team in monitoring and reporting on social media activity using analytical tools.
The working pattern for this role will be hybrid working, combining home working with regular onsite attendance. As the role requires regular travel to various Charity locations in remote areas with limited public transport options, access to a car is strongly advised to meet the requirements of the role
About You
You will have experience of creating engaging content for social media channels, social media community management and reporting with:
- An excellent standard of written English and communication skills, including copywriting for different audiences.
- A good base knowledge of digital marketing and fundraising.
- Adept at using photo and video editing software, ideally the Adobe suite.
- Able to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst working with a number of conflicting demands and deadlines.
- Strong I.T. skills (proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Demonstrable customer service skills (including successful experience of dealing with enquiries and complaints from members of the public).
- UK, full valid Driver’s licence.

These new Research Grants Officer role will support the work of our Fellowships Committee and Special Programmes, as well as covering the work of the other Grants Officers in relation to other committees, when required.
In this role you’ll deal with correspondence and address queries relating to all aspects of grants administration in a timely manner. You’ll also administer preliminary outline and full applications, provide feedback and advice to applicants, as well as facilitate and attend committee meetings, arrange interviews and prepare and distribute minutes of the meeting.
You’ll be at ease using a complex database and will provide a high level of service to senior members of the scientific community.
About you
An experienced administrator, you’ll be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, capable of working independently and producing accurate work with minimal supervision.

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Data Protection Officer to join our team here at RBL on a permanent basis.
Supporting the Data Protection Officer and based in an existing team, this role will see you working to ensuring RBLs compliance with all GDPR/data protection requirements. You will work across the RBL Group to promote awareness of data protection policies and procedures and will take action to ensure compliance with legislation, manage requests, triage and respond to breaches, manage reporting and communication internally and more.

Reporting to our Data Protection Officer, key responsibilities will include:
- Accurately log details of new requests for support received into the Data Protection inbox
- Receive, acknowledge, and respond professionally to individual rights requests, working with stakeholders and database managers across the RBL group
- Provide professional risk-based and timely advice and relevant information to internal stakeholders and external parties in relation to all aspects of data protection
- Work with stakeholders to prepare formal lawful basis assessments, including legitimate interest and consent assessments, ensuring our lawful bases for processing personal data is suitable and appropriately documented
- Work with the wider legal team and the procurement team to support contracting arrangements across the RBL group, ensuring all data processing, retention and sharing is compliant with data protection legislation
- Support the preparation and delivery of bespoke training and drop-in sessions to colleagues across the Legion group, either in collaboration with the Learning & Development team or as requested by the DPO
You will be experienced in providing advice and guidance on data protection and working in a compliance environment within a large and complex organisation, ideally in the not for profit sector. You will have solid knowledge and understanding of GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications regulations 2003 and their application. You will have effective communication skills and be a confident communicator, able to confidently engage with a range of audiences.
You will be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and committed team in Bradford as a Family Support Worker. You will deliver outreach across Bradford to build relationships and trust providing access to activities, information and support. You will support families holistically, across a wide range of issues, removing barriers to support and supporting families to understand and navigate processes. You will support families to build protective factors and to have their voices heard.
Working with Members, you will:

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness.
