ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Technician to play a key role in delivering high-quality IT support services and contributing to project work across the Harris Federation.

Based at our Croydon Head Office and supporting our Academies, you will operate as a roaming technician, providing cover for short-term absences, vacancies and periods of increased demand. Your flexibility and expertise will help ensure that Group ICT consistently delivers exceptional, ITIL-aligned services to our staff and students. MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality IT support, advice and guidance in line with ITIL and HarrisNet principles for Head Office, academy staff and students
• Logging all IT support needs accurately in the Service Management system
• Retaining ownership of academy support tickets and updating staff on progress
• Resolving support tickets within SLA targets
• Re-routing or escalating tickets to the correct team and working with third line support, Project Managers and stakeholders
• Identifying, implementing and documenting desktop workarounds in the Knowledgebase
• Identifying recurring incidents and performing root-cause analysis
• Notifying key contacts of major incidents affecting service delivery

Institutional Donor Manager

Principal responsibilities and duties

Budget Management

• With the Head of Comms & Individual Giving, set annual budgets and programmes of activity, actively monitoring performance against these and adapting approach as necessary
• Plan, monitor and control expenditure as appropriate and manage income against set budget, KPIs; providing regular revised projections and narrative for the Senior Leadership Team and trustees as required

Communicating and building relationships

Data management

• Use data to identify areas of prospective growth and build plans to deliver these
• Adopt a data-led fundraising approach, segmenting data and using supporter journeys to maintain engagement and speak to people about the right products for them
• Monitor donor attrition and implement measures to mitigate disengagement

Experience

Designated Safeguarding Lead

Charity People are seeking an experienced and confident Designated Safeguarding Lead to join a charity on an interim basis for six months. This is a vital role supporting adults across a wide range of community and specialist services. The postholder will provide expert safeguarding leadership, ensure safe practice, and offer guidance to staff working with vulnerable adults who present with complex needs. This position is required urgently due to the upcoming departure of our current safeguarding lead, so it would be ideal to have a handover period. There is potential for the role to evolve into a broader position as they continue to develop their approach across the organisation.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead will act as the first point of escalation for safeguarding concerns and provide clear, timely advice to staff and managers. The role combines day to day operational safeguarding oversight with longer term development of governance, compliance, and safe practice across services in Surrey. You will work closely with frontline teams, service managers, and the Director of Services to support safeguarding decision making, identify risk, and maintain consistent high standards across all services. This is a hands-on role that requires visibility, relationship building, and confidence working within a busy and diverse organisation.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Income and Gift Aid Accountant Assistant to help us make sure every penny counts in our mission to stop MS. You'll play a key role in managing our income processing and supporting Gift Aid claims to help us maximise the value of every donation.

You'll ensure that donations recorded in our CRM system match the funds received, resolving discrepancies and supporting our income processes to run efficiently. Working closely with our Customer Services and Fundraising teams you’ll be at the heart of making sure our financial data is accurate and robust.

You’ll also assist with preparing and checking Gift Aid claims, helping us claim back vital extra funds at no additional cost to our supporters. Your detail driven approach will help us continue to build a strong and transparent foundation for everything we do.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a good understanding of financial accounting principles, strong Excel and IT skills, and a collaborative problem-solving approach. Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be essential as you work closely with teams across the organisation to ensure our income records are accurate and efficient.
