The Education and Events Executive will be an enthusiastic and organised early-career professional, supporting the Head of Education and Events in the planning and delivery of a high-quality programme of MSK-focused educational events and resources. The role will involve assisting with the coordination of in-person and virtual education activities, supporting event logistics and administration, and helping to build positive working relationships with clinicians, faculty, industry partners and other stakeholders. The postholder will contribute to ensuring programmes are delivered smoothly and support the ongoing CPD needs of healthcare professionals.

Purpose of the role
As Education and Events Executive, your primary responsibility is to support the Head of Education and Events in the delivery of the department’s objectives. You will contribute to the planning, coordination and delivery of an educational programme of events and resources that support the professional training and continuing professional development (CPD) needs of healthcare professionals working within the musculoskeletal (MSK) field.
This role reports directly to the Head of Education and Events and involves working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of education and events activity.
Key responsibilities
Delivery of educational programmes
- Support the delivery of a high-quality programme of educational events and courses, working under the direction of the Head of Education and Events and assisting with activities across the event lifecycle, from planning through to evaluation
- Assist with identifying opportunities to develop the events portfolio in line with departmental objectives
- Support the development and maintenance of working relationships with industry partners and stakeholders, assisting with communications and partnership activity as required
- Assist with event budgets, including tracking income and expenditure, processing invoices, and supporting financial reporting
- Support the marketing of events, including helping to prepare and share promotional materials across appropriate channels
- Act as a point of contact for course convenors, faculty and delegates, supporting event-related communications, including responding to enquiries and assisting with travel and accommodation arrangements
- Assist with the coordination of event logistics, including venue bookings, catering, and supporting in-person and virtual delivery using platforms such as Zoom
- Support the recording of virtual events and assist with basic post-production tasks, such as trimming and formatting recordings for distribution
- Provide on-site and virtual support at events to help ensure smooth delivery and a positive delegate experience
- Support post-event processes, including distributing recordings and presentation materials, issuing certificates, and contributing to post-event reports and evaluations

Education and qualifications
- University degree, relevant professional qualification or training, or equivalent experience, including demonstrated project management skills
- Willingness to develop project coordination and event delivery skills, with support and training
Experience and knowledge
- Some experience supporting the planning, coordination or delivery of events (in-person and/or virtual)
- Experience assisting with event administration, logistics, or communications

Strong project planning, organisational and prioritisation skills are essential, along with proven experience working collaboratively across teams, particularly with Marketing and Communications.
You will bring experience in leading others, including setting SMART objectives, managing performance, and supporting staff development to enhance team capability. You will be able to lead a portfolio of individual and regular giving activities, ensuring targets are met and high-quality delivery is maintained. Your background will demonstrate a track record of guiding team members effectively, contributing to successful income generation and continuous improvement across fundraising programmes.

Hours of Work
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

We’re looking for someone calm, sociable, enthusiastic, confident, creative, and well-organised, with the ability to produce engaging content across a range of media channels and build strong relationships with stakeholders to boost community engagement and fundraising.
You’ll also provide hands-on support: loading equipment, preparing event packs, collecting and distributing food, and gathering information for funding applications and reports to the Board of Trustees.

Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
· Lead the day-to-day running and strategic direction of the charity in line with the Board’s vision.
· Develop, manage, and oversee the charity's resources and workstreams.
· Ensure governance, compliance, and policies/procedures remain in good shape.
· Support the Board with fundraising strategy and financial accountability, including financial forecasting and reporting to funders.
2. Programme Management & Delivery
· Directly manage the Programme & Projects Manager and the Regional Event Leaders, and assist in the recruitment process for the newly established Volunteering Co-ordinator and the Wellbeing Coach/Coordinator roles.
· Drive the delivery and expansion of our core programmes, including the Physical Activities (Walk & Talks, Sports Hubs), Volunteer Engagement, Community Partnerships and the Personal Wellbeing Plans (PWP)18.
· Develop and implement the Marauders Pathway Programme to establish a culture of good citizenship and peer support.
3. People & Volunteer Management
· Provide leadership, support, and development for staff, managing issues such as payroll, sickness, and holidays.
· Oversee the Volunteer Co-ordinator to develop a comprehensive volunteer management process, including recruitment, training, and 'Reward & Recognition’.
· Help inspire 100 men to give back to the community through volunteering.
4. Partnerships & IT Development
· Maintain and forge new community partnerships (e.g. with voluntary organisations, NGO’s, other charities and social enterprises) to enhance volunteering, education, and wellbeing services.
· Spearhead the development of our IT Platform, focusing on a robust website and a Beneficiary Management System (CRM) for efficient reporting, data capture, and engagement.
· Oversee digital marketing and communications, including newsletters and social media content.

We provide training and consultancy to organisations that work directly with care-experienced young people, in order to upskill and develop professionals who are committed to improving outcomes for children in care and care leavers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Training Officer to plan, design and deliver training content that makes a real impact. The CCSA is the trade association accelerating the commercial deployment Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (or CCUS) through advocacy and collaboration. Our ambition is to see CCUS developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations. We represent a wide variety of organisations with an interest in the development and deployment of CCUS across many applications to decarbonise industries, power, and hydrogen production, and remove carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere.
The CCSA operates as a not-for-profit company, overseen by a board of elected members. We have 22 staff across our London & Brussels offices.
The role
We are a dynamic and agile organisation looking for a proactive and confident Events and Membership Officer to support the delivery of events and services to our 120+ members. As we are small team, all staff have the opportunity to develop and own their own work streams. For this role, we anticipate that the successful candidate will become responsible for end-to-end event delivery, as well as taking the lead on oversight of the CCSA website. Role Summary
The Training & Consultancy Officer will work closely with the Senior Consultancy and Training Manager, and Director of Consultancy and Training to deliver significant elements of activity. The post holder will be responsible for the administrative duties in the team which include responding to prospective and current training clients, creating booking forms, invoicing and liaising with our team of associates.

About the role
In this role we will trust you to work with other team members on a caseload of clients delivering personalised support to them. You will proactively engage with our clients and provide a hand so they can overcome barriers, move into independent living and sustain a tenancy. Our clients have a range of support needs that impact their experience of homelessness. This includes mental health problems, social isolation, challenging behaviour, finance and debt, alcohol and drug abuse. You will deliver structured support and do some risk management so we will trust you to keep proper records and complete some admin tasks. This includes, reviewing support and risk plans, involving key stakeholders where required, showing and signposting our clients to appropriate external support and services, following safeguarding procedures, do some cleaning and contribute to the delivery of a housing management service including collecting income. You’ll also resolve difficult and challenging situations in a sensitive manner balancing the needs of the clients and the safety of the service.
Main Responsibilities Of The Role:
· Ensure the effective delivery of high quality care, support and housing management according to Homeless Oxfordshire policies and procedures.
· To be a supportive and effective part of the team working as part of a rota including evenings and weekends.
· Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment.
· To support and encourage clients to care for themselves and develop independent living skills.
· To assess and manage risk for individuals and in the service, making use of emergency services as required.
· Report any safeguarding concerns without delay in line with procedures.
· To make and maintain Housing Benefit claims and support clients to pay their service charges regularly.
· To work in partnership with other agencies to ensure the delivery of holistic wrap around support.
· To support the running of the service and perform shift responsibilities and duties that maintain good health and safety and ensures the safeguarding of clients and others.
· Manage challenging situations in line with procedures and to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
· To participate in handovers at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring that information is properly recorded and passed on where appropriate and relevant and in a timely fashion.
· Ensure that IT systems are updated as required and concise record keeping is completed promptly.
· Maintain positive relationships with clients, relatives, carers, professionals, commissioners, contractors and the local community.
· Ensure clients are aware of and support them to maximise their opportunity to be involved in Client Participation.
· To participate in the induction of and support new team members.
· To ensure that Homeless Oxfordshire’s Equal Opportunities Policies are complied with and promoted in carrying out duties of the post.
· To undertake any other duties that can be reasonably required to meet the operational needs of Homeless Oxfordshire.
