The role
The Innovation team at Leadership Skills Foundation is responsible for the design and evaluation of learning programmes that give young people life‑changing skill development and leadership opportunities. As Innovation Officer you will provide support to our Innovation Leads across learning development, visual design, and research activities.
This role is ideal for a creative all-rounder. You don’t need to be an expert in all areas on day one. We are looking for a proactive problem solver who can grow into the role and is energised by the idea of wearing multiple hats to help young people succeed.

What you’ll do
Learning development

Work collaboratively to help create and test new learning programmes, and continuously improve our range of Awards and Qualifications based on research findings e.g. from our Sport England Programme.

Support the creation, editing and quality-checking of course content and materials, such as Learner Evidence Records and tutor guidance documents.

Support digital learning activity, including content creation, managing online platforms and testing user experience.
Visual design and content

Create engaging visual designs for use in course materials and impact reporting, ensuring designs are always accessible and on brand.

Manage our library of learning resources, ensuring designs are reviewed regularly and improved based on feedback and research findings e.g. from our Sport England Programme.
Research and evaluation

Play a supporting role organising and conducting research interviews, observations, surveys and focus groups.

Assist with data collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative insights.

Support the preparation of engaging impact reports and insight summaries.

About the role
Are you an experienced and knowledgeable programme manager with a passion for supporting charities and under-represented communities to advocate for change?
Media Trust is looking for an experienced programme manager to lead on the delivery of two new communications capacity-building programmes - one focusing on charities tackling health inequalities and another focusing on people affected by the No Recourse to Public Fund (NRPF) immigration rule. Both programmes are aimed at enabling participants to safely and effectively engage with the media and advocate for change. You will be working directly with charities, communities and individual participants on both these programmes. You will also work with external trainers and media industry volunteers to deliver the training and related support.
Each programme will involve recruiting a cohort of storytellers, working with a series of external trainers to deliver workshops around understanding and engaging with the media and facilitating peer support workshops. You may also be required to lead small roundtables or convene meetings with sector partners as required.
Media Trust will be partnering with charities working on health inequalities and supporting migrants to deliver this work, including recruiting storytellers from across our networks and partner organisations as programme participants.
You will be responsible for designing and agreeing the delivery calendar with our funders and other key partners.You will also manage the recruitment for, and delivery of, these programmes. The outline training content has already been agreed - this role will involve working with trainers to ensure content is relevant to the needs of the cohorts and the objectives of each programme. You will also design and facilitate a series of monthly peer support sessions to support participants’ learning on the programmes. You will also manage impact evaluation for the programmes including designing and collecting responses to pre- and post-programme surveys from participants and sharing insights and learning from the programmes to help Media Trust design new work in these areas.
You will also support with other programmes and activity across Media Trust’s Charity Services team as required.
Please note this role is remote-based with regular events and meetings in London.
Key responsibilities
Programme Management and Evaluation

Programme Management: Oversee the launch and delivery of the programmes ensuring all activity runs to schedule and on budget

Training Coordination: Plan, recruit and deliver training for programme participants and liaise with trainers, ensuring content is well-suited to the needs of the cohorts and the programmes’ objectives

Peer support: Deliver and facilitate monthly peer supports across each programme. Run safe and well-structured peer support spaces, which serve to building communities of mutual support and solidify learning from the training

The Strategic Communications Officer will play an important role in delivering high‑quality campaign and communications activity that supports ARUK’s strategic goals. Julie’s Bicycle delivers the Arts Council England’s Environmental Programme, supporting organisations to embed Environmental Responsibility (ER) within their governance, operations and programmes, and supporting the Arts Council England (ACE) to drive positive environmental change within the sector. The programme focuses on delivering support to National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs) and Investment Principle Support Organisations (IPSOs), as well as the wider creative and cultural sector through a suite of free tools, resources, events and programmes.
Our programme is adaptive, responding to sector needs, insights and learning from delivery. As such, there is a significant opportunity for a collaborative and experienced project manager to deliver strands of work across the programme and to help shape the programme itself in response to learning and insights.
The Environmental Programme broadly includes:

Responsibilities
We are looking for an outstanding and energetic individual to join our team as a Culture and Climate Project Manager, leading and facilitating key strands of work across the programme in partnership with ACE.
Your core responsibilities will include:

Annual Report: project managing, writing and delivering the ACE Annual Report. Drawing together both qualitative and quantitative data, case studies and stories of change to create an annual snapshot of environmental activity across the portfolio. You will work closely with the ACE team Environmental Coordinator on this project. Tasks will include:

The Role:
The Digital Content Officer will support the implementation of digital communications plans that will help NFCC to deliver on its vision of being a digital first service to support fire and rescue services and the communities they serve. This will include developing and enhancing NFCC’s digital presence across the corporate website, online engagement platforms, and wider online and social media channels. The postholder will work to support the Digital Communications Manager and wider Communications team in the implementation of our Digital Communications Strategy which seeks to establish NFCC platforms as the go-to place on information about our work and resources. They will work closely with the Content and Guidance, IT and Digital Transformation teams, and other departments, to help establish and maintain a standard of excellence across website content, social media, and elements of digital design.

4. Digital campaigns and income growth
- Lead on the planning and delivery of digital-led community and events fundraising campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications colleagues to develop supporter journeys, content and communications that drive engagement and income.
- Develop approaches to grow connected income streams, including regular giving and in-memory giving, through community and digital activity.
- Monitor performance, assess impact and report clearly on outcomes and learning.
5. Supporter experience and stewardship
- Ensure supporters are stewarded with care, empathy and professionalism, recognising the personal connection many have to bipolar.
- Oversee thanking, updating and re-engagement activity to build long-term supporter relationships.
- Ensure accurate and compliant use of the CRM and fundraising data.
6. Team leadership and organisational contribution
- Line-manage and support the Fundraising Officer and Supporter Engagement Assistant, providing clear direction, coaching and development.
- Create a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture focused on impact and learning.
- Oversee income and expenditure for the community and events portfolio, monitoring budgets and performance against targets.
- Contribute to organisational planning, cross-team working and the development of efficient systems and processes.
- Evaluate performance and produce insight-led reports to support decision-making and improvement.

Essential Criteria
- Significant experience managing community and/or events fundraising, with a track record of achieving income and engagement targets.
- Experience of line-managing staff and leading a small team to deliver effectively.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience translating strategy into delivery plans.
- Experience of managing budgets and reporting on performance and impact.
- Demonstrable experience of digital fundraising and use of online fundraising platforms.
- Experience working with volunteers or community fundraisers.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Confidence using CRM systems and fundraising data.
- Knowledge of the UK charity sector, GDPR and fundraising best practice.
- A compassionate, values-led approach and confidence working in a mental health context.
Desirable Criteria
- Fundraising qualification or Chartered Institute of Fundraising membership.
- Lived experience of bipolar, or a close personal connection to someone affected by the condition.

The Communications Lead will own GFO’s communications across both the organisation and OxFarmToFork, with a clear brief: to grow our reach, amplify the work of our network, and help translate what we do into income and impact. That means building and delivering a coherent annual comms plan, maintaining a consistent presence across our channels, and actively spotting the connections between GFO projects and OxFarmToFork that make for the strongest stories.
You’ll shape how GFO presents itself externally and make sure our communications work hard for the organisation.
The role is 0.4–0.5 FTE and can be worked flexibly across the week. We encourage interested candidates to discuss arrangements that suit their needs. The successful candidate will ideally be based within Oxfordshire and able to work from our Oxford office on Wednesdays, our team day.
What You’ll Be Doing
Communications Strategy and Planning

Develop and own GFO’s annual communications plan, covering both GFO and OxFarmToFork, with clear goals, audiences, channels, and success measures.

Advise the CEO and project leads on communications priorities and timing throughout the year.

Track and report on communications performance, using data to inform decisions about content, channels, and audience engagement.

Ensure comms plans meet funding requirements/deliverables for projects.
Content and Channel Management

Write and publish content across GFO’s digital channels: social media (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook), the website, email newsletters, and blogs.

Manage the social media presence for both GFO and OxFarmToFork: planning content calendars, writing copy, scheduling posts, and responding to engagement.

Monitor and actively work to grow engagement metrics across key platforms, using platform analytics to understand what’s working and adjust accordingly.

Maintain and update GFO’s website, including campaign pages, news, and project updates. Basic CMS work; more significant design or development can be contracted out.

Write and distribute press releases and support media relations when opportunities arise.
Project and Campaign Communications

Provide communications support for GFO campaigns across their full lifecycle, from initial promotion through to impact reporting – including the Great Big Green Lunch, the Pumpkin Festival, and the WISH initiative.

Develop audience-appropriate messaging for OxFarmToFork, aimed at potential producers, institutional buyers, and the wider public.

Support the production of funder reports and stakeholder updates by providing communications evidence and impact content.

Brief and manage external contractors for specialist design work as needed.
Network and Stakeholder Communications

Support GFO’s member network communications, keeping network members informed, engaged, and connected to GFO’s work.

Help develop and maintain a CRM approach to stakeholder communications, ensuring key audiences receive timely and relevant updates.

Contribute to event communications, including invitations, programmes, and follow-up content for events such as the Food Summit and Annual Celebration.
What You’ll Bring

Demonstrable experience in a communications role, with responsibility for content creation and channel management.

Strong writing skills across different formats and audiences: social media copy, newsletters, web content, and longer-form pieces.

A solid understanding of social media platforms and how to grow and sustain audience engagement, including use of platform analytics.

The ability to develop and deliver a communications plan, not just execute individual tasks.

Confidence with basic website maintenance using a standard CMS (e.g. WordPress or similar).

Design skills aren’t essential – we can bring in contractors for specialist work. Experience with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, or SEO would be a bonus, as would a background in the charity or non-profit sector.
