Job Summary
As our Corporate and Community Partnerships Fundraiser, you will build meaningful relationships with businesses, community organisations and local people across Bristol, generating sustainable income and long-term support through corporates, community fundraising and events.
You will secure long-term, mutually beneficial income from the corporate sector across a range of disciplines and formats, including long-term partnerships, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing and sponsorship. You will develop and secure new partnerships with Bristol's businesses, while nurturing and account managing existing partnerships.
Alongside this, you will grow support within the local community by developing relationships with organisations such as clubs, schools and faith groups. You will also encourage individuals, groups and organisations to support Caring in Bristol through community fundraising initiatives and events.
You will be responsible for researching key prospective sectors, companies and organisations, sector activities and the business marketplace, to compile lists of key targets, as agreed with the Public Fundraising Manager. You will develop and manage an ongoing pipeline of prospects, that have a clearly defined target outcome and value.
Key responsibilities
Corporate Partnerships
· Alongside the Public Fundraising Manager develop and manage Caring in Bristol’s approach to corporate fundraising, delivering the agreed targeted income
· Manage a portfolio of existing corporate partners, providing exceptional supporter care and delivering successful partnerships
· Research, approach and develop new corporate partnership opportunities, managing a pipeline of corporate fundraising activity including charity of the year partnerships, staff fundraising payroll giving and business donations for example
· Provide written reports to corporate partners as required
· Develop new streams of income derived from businesses such as cause related marketing, sponsorship, and events
· Support in the development of an alternative ask such as pro bono support and skills-based volunteering
· Work closely with the Public Fundraising Manager and the Senior Communications Lead to maximise the effectiveness of engagement and stewardship in supporting the development of existing and prospective relationships
· Develop, write and present persuasive and innovative proposals in conjunction with colleagues

Community Organisations
· Alongside the Public Fundraising Manager, develop and manage Caring in Bristol’s approach to working with community organisations, delivering the targeted income
· Manage a portfolio of existing community partners, providing exceptional supporter care and delivering successful partnerships
· Research, approach and develop new community partnership opportunities, managing a pipeline of corporate fundraising activity
· Develop a clear and defined schools’ proposition to enable engagement, especially around the Christmas Appeal each year
· Develop an approach to working with faith-based organisations such as churches, congregations, fellowships and other faith-based groups
Administration
· Ensure the Donorfy database is kept up to date and accurate
· Manage and maintain core social media channels, working with project leads and frontline staff and the income generation team to ensure news and events are communicated effectively and regularly, and engaging with stakeholders online
· Manage and provide recognition both online and in print for supporters and partners where appropriate
Other Responsibilities
· From time to time, support other fundraising income streams and activities across the Fundraising Team, in line with the needs of the charity.

· Proven experience securing fundraising income. Experience in corporate partnerships, community fundraising or events is preferred, although experience in other fundraising disciplines (such as trusts and foundations, major donors or individual giving) will also be considered.
· Excellent relationship and account management, networking and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire audiences and build and maintain strong partnerships.

About the team
The Philanthropy Team raises income for Impetus and for Impetus partner charities. The team consists of 15 staff. Impetus has an annual income of c.£11 million which we are looking to grow significantly within the next few years. The team is led by two Directors of Philanthropy and Partnerships.
The Philanthropy Team works with major donors, corporates and grant making trusts, as well as collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure we make a compelling case to generate new financial commitments and wider support for our work. The team also deliver a high-quality engagement programme of volunteering and pro bono for Impetus’s corporate supporters.
Impetus is driven by a shared belief in tackling the barriers that hold back young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in education and employment. Alongside investing extensive financial and non-financial support in our charity partners through our Investment Team we also seek to influence decision makers to design and implement evidence led policy and direct new resources to get young people the support they need through our Public Affairs team. About this role
The Engagement Manager is an experienced professional who plays a key role in supporting donor engagement across all Impetus donors, enabling the team to provide best practice and high-quality donor stewardship and a platform for the renewal of key philanthropic gifts.
The Engagement function is responsible for pro bono and volunteering. Reporting to the Head of Engagement, the Engagement Manager is responsible for supporting the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the volunteering programme, ensuring it delivers high-quality opportunities, contributes to agreed KPIs and evolves in line with the needs of funders and the organisation.
The postholder will account manage key relationships with mid-level supporters and internal stakeholders, working across teams to deliver meaningful and well-coordinated engagement opportunities. They will contribute to identifying and developing new opportunities for the volunteering and pro bono programmes that respond to funder interests and portfolio needs.
In addition, they will manage relationships with mid-level pro bono supporters, taking them through the full pro bono journey from project matching and onboarding through to stewardship and ongoing support.
This is a cross-functional role that collaborates closely with the Investment team, wider Philanthropy team, Public Affairs team and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and excellent donor experience.
Key responsibilities
Volunteering programme
- Account manage relationships linked to volunteering across corporates, individuals and grant-making trusts, ensuring engagement is maintained and escalating strategic issues or risks where appropriate.
- Support or lead meetings, alongside fundraising account managers where appropriate, with funders to understand their volunteering interests and contribute to the development of suitable engagement opportunities.

Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established children's charity and play an important role in our future growth. As a Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser, you'll develop and manage a portfolio of supporters, secure new partnerships and identify opportunities to increase income through sponsorships, events and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Income generation
- Maximise funding from existing relationships and identify, research and secure new corporate funding opportunities.
- Meet agreed annual fundraising targets for corporate sponsorship, including annual income figures and corporate outreach numbers.
Funder stewardship and reporting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate supporters through regular communication and excellent account management.
- Invite supporters to project visits and events, enabling them to see the impact of their donations first-hand.
Internal collaboration and event support
- Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events.
- Contribute ideas, stories and content for social media, newsletters and the charity website.

As our Partnerships Manager, you'll help secure the funding that enables more people around the world to understand, value and act for the Ocean.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, ambitious charity where you'll have genuine ownership of a portfolio of corporate partners and trust funders while helping to shape Ocean Generation's fundraising strategy and long-term growth.
Account Management & Stewardship
- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate partners and selected trusts and foundations, delivering excellent relationship management, stewardship and reporting.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality partnership reports, impact updates and funding reports that demonstrate the value of support and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Act as the Funding Relationship Lead for their portfolio, ensuring reporting commitments, stewardship activity and internal coordination are managed throughout the life of each partnership or grant.
- Identify opportunities to renew, grow and enhance existing partnerships, maximising income and engagement.
- Maintain accurate partnership activity, reporting deadlines and pipeline information within Salesforce, monitor partnership performance, manage the fundraising pipeline, and contribute to income forecasting and pipeline reporting.
- In addition to partnership management responsibilities, manage community fundraising activities and events when required, contributing to the wider fundraising programme.
Business Development & Income Generation
- Develop and secure new corporate partnerships by identifying, cultivating and converting prospective supporters into long-term partners.
- Prepare compelling funding proposals, partnership pitches and applications tailored to corporate and trust funding opportunities.
- Develop attractive ESG partnership opportunities and other funding propositions that align with Ocean Generation's mission and strategic priorities.
- Work closely with the Co-Executive Director (Partnerships) and Philanthropy Lead to identify, develop and secure strategic fundraising opportunities.
Partnership Activation & Organisational Collaboration
- Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to develop engaging partnership opportunities and ensure the successful delivery of partner benefits.
- Work with the Communications team to create partnership resources, campaigns, newsletters and impact content/case studies that strengthen engagement and increase visibility.
- Ensure fundraising activity complies with charity regulations, fundraising best practice, and Ocean Generation's values and ethical standards.
- Contribute as a proactive member of a small, agile team, supporting colleagues and identifying opportunities to maximise the impact and profile of fundraising activity.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Experience in corporate fundraising, partnerships, business development/sales or account management.
- Proven ability to secure, manage and grow fundraising partnerships to achieve income targets.
- Excellent relationship management, communication and proposal writing skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience using a CRM and managing multiple priorities.
- Commercially minded, proactive and able to work independently within a small team.
- Confident interpreting budgets and fundraising performance data.
Desirable
- Some experience working with trusts and foundations and/or major donors.
- Knowledge of ESG, CSR or corporate fundraising partnerships.
- Experience using a fundraising CRM such as Salesforce, Beacon or Raiser's Edge.
- An interest in environmental or conservation issues and a commitment to Ocean Generation's mission.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
What We Offer
- Salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A permanent role, full-time (37.5 hours per week), with consideration given to candidates seeking a part-time equivalent over four days.
- A flexible, remote-first working environment, with the freedom to work from anywhere in the UK.
- Core collaboration hours of 10am–4pm, Monday to Thursday, with flexibility over when you work your remaining hours.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a growing corporate fundraising programme within a values-led organisation making a real impact across the world. You'll combine strategic relationship management with new business development, working with corporate partners across the UK, Europe and internationally.
A real highlight of the role is the opportunity for international travel (approximately 6–7 weeks per year), with recent trips including Singapore, Japan, Dubai and across Europe.
The Role
You'll lead corporate fundraising, delivering an annual income target of around £900,000 through a broad portfolio of corporate partnerships. Unlike many charities, income comes from a diverse range of supporters rather than a handful of large six-figure donors, making strong relationship management and business development equally important.
You'll also lead a small team, use CRM data to drive fundraising activity, and work closely with senior stakeholders to maximise opportunities.
