THE ROLE

Job Title: Head of CRM

Reports To: Chief Executive

Location: Remote and hybrid working (occasional travel to SportsAid Head Office)

Salary: £60,000 per annum FTE; pro-rated to £36,000 per annum for 3 days/week

Contract: Permanent; part-time

Hours of work: Part-time position, approx. 21 working hours a week (3 days per week), some evening work may be required from time to time, reasonable flexible work options are available.

CONTEXT & PURPOSE OF ROLE

SportsAid is currently implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud as our new organisation-wide CRM platform to strengthen engagement with athletes and their parents/care-givers, supporters and funders, partners, alumni, volunteers and other key stakeholders.  The Head of CRM will provide strategic and operational leadership for the charity’s CRM function.  

Initially the focus of the role will be to realise the value of the implementation, including adoption, embedding ways of working and processes across teams, improving data quality, refining reporting, ensuring good system governance and optimising organisation-wide usage. 

Longer term, the role will develop and lead a CRM roadmap, identifying priorities and enhancements for future development and planning the strategic evolution of our new CRM ecosystem and long-term sustainability of our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud platform.

You will lead organisational change, embed best practice CRM processes, ensure high-quality data governance and maximise the value of CRM insights to support fundraising, programme delivery, marketing, partnerships and impact reporting.

Founded in 1976, SportsAid is a national charity that provides recognition and financial help to emerging young talented sports people – the next generation of British sporting heroes and heroines – often at a crucial time in their personal and sporting development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 CRM Strategy & Leadership

• Champion CRM adoption across all function areas.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on CRM best practice.
• Lead continuous improvement and optimisation of the platform.
• Develop and deliver a multi-year CRM roadmap aligned to organisational strategy.
• Act as Product Owner for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.

 Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Implementation & Optimisation

• Lead final configuration, rollout and optimisation of:

• • Constituent management
  • Fundraising and donation management
  • Grants management
  • Beneficiary engagement
  • Programme and impact tracking

• Configure and manage:

• • Custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types
  • Validation rules and automation
  • Reports and dashboards
  • Permission sets and role hierarchy

• Oversee integrations (eg website forms, email marketing platforms, finance systems, payment gateways).
• Manage sandbox environments, release cycles and change control.
• Liaise with external Salesforce implementation partners where required.

 Data Governance & Compliance

• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

• Maintain data integrity, security and role-based access controls.
• Implement duplicate management, data cleansing and quality assurance processes.

• Develop organisation-wide reporting frameworks.

• Ensure reliable KPI tracking aligned to Board reporting requirements.
• Support data-driven decision making at SMT and Board level.

 User Adoption & Training

• Develop and deliver a CRM training strategy for all staff.
• Create user guides, process documentation and onboarding materials.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Establish and support CRM ‘champions’ (super-users) across function teams.
• Monitor adoption metrics and address any resistance to change.

 Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with Salesforce partners and third-party vendors.
• Oversee licence management and budget control.
• Contribute to digital transformation projects across the charity.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 Experience

• Substantial experience of a similar role within a UK charity (essential).
• Experience with:

• • Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot)
  • Experience Cloud
  • Payment integrations (eg Stripe, FinDock)
  • Grants management workflows

• Experience managing small CRM or data teams.
• Understanding of impact measurement frameworks in sport or social change.

Salesforce & Technical Expertise

• Significant experience administering Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (or NPSP).
• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201); ideally Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
• Strong understanding of:

• • Data model architecture
  • Schema design and object relationships
  • Flow automation (Salesforce Flow)
  • Validation rules and approval processes
  • Reports and dashboard development

• Familiarity with managing integrations using APIs, middleware or tools such as:

About the role

As the Operations Manager, accountable to the Board of Trustees, you will be responsible for the day to day running of all activities in relation to the operation of Ignite Life. You will ensure the provision of high-quality services and compliance with contractual and organisational standards, as well as working in partnership with the Fundraising Manager to ensure income generation for the charity.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our office in Staple Hill, Bristol BS15. Whilst the post is mainly office based; there is some flexibility for hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Operations Manager you will:

● Have operational leadership of the charity, ensuring day to day systems and practices are in good order and operating efficiently and effectively

● Support the Board of Trustees to set annual goals for Ignite Life

● Being the Designated Safeguard Lead for all of Ignite Life’s services.

● In partnership with the Fundraising Manager, ensure a consistent fundraising strategy for the charity is in place, including developing new partnerships and funding streams.

● Taking overall responsibility for the charity’s Health and Safety, and GDPR.

● Have oversight of charity’s financial position, including budgeting and updating managed accounts.

● Provide leadership for the core team of staff and volunteers (around 39 – 5 contracted counsellors and 1 clinical supervisor, 1 full-time employed staff member, 13 volunteers, 14-20 contracted youth mentors).

● Undertake regular and effective reporting to the Trustees.

● Manage annual reporting with the Charity Commission.

We are looking for our new General Manager to work across finance, marketing, strategic and artistic direction, development, smooth daily operations, and responsible for safeguarding. The main duties and responsibilities for the General Manager role are as follows:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT
• Lead the small part time team, maintaining regular contact and guiding their

The Opportunity:   

The Aspiring Professionals Programme Coordinator (APPC) postholder is responsible for supporting the delivery and development of the Social Mobility Foundation’s programme of activities for young people through their S5-6/sixth form and university years.   
The SMF offers in-person and online support and opportunities, so this role will involve providing virtual and in-person support to students and working with employers across the UK.

Key Responsibility Areas:
1. Project Delivery 

• Deliver key projects including recruiting and onboarding students, creating digital resources and student events  
• Support with programme pilots, scoping (and delivering on) new activity   
• Collaborate and build relationships with our employer partners, schools, and universities to support our young people in their applications for university, internships and graduate roles  
• Deliver on allocated events relating to our programme model (university applications, skill development, work experience and mentoring), presenting content to a high standard and in line with the Social Mobility Foundation messaging

 2. Monitoring and Evaluation  

• Follow established procedures to monitor the progress of your work area, using accurate data to inform decisions
• Maintain accurate records across relevant databases, updating data accurately and in a timely manner  
• Contribute to evaluation for key work areas (residentials, events, internships etc), produce high quality evaluation reports where required.

3. Stakeholder Management

• Communicate to internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
• Proactively update external partners (i.e. employers) on your work areas, flagging risks in a timely manner with relationship managers
• Manage internal student queries and maintain consistent stakeholder (e.g. students) processes through regular communication

4. Activity Delivery  

• Coordinate planning and delivery of skills sessions, partner events, university visits, and other activities, both virtually and in person across the Social Mobility Foundation’s target cities across the UK
• Coordinate logistics of sixth form and S5/S6 and undergraduate internships, including but not limited to, student selection, liaising with students and employers throughout internship delivery 
• Coordinate and support with the organisation, logistics and delivery of in-person residential programmes for students, including staying on site for day and overnight visits when needed
• Coordinate student services including personal statement checking service and recruitment success service 
• Create digital resources to support all provisions

This means that during the summer period (Jul – Aug) you will be expected to stay overnight on-site (in the UK - exact location to be confirmed closer to the time) for a period of up to two-weeks, help run the residential and be responsible for the welfare of the young people involved.

Travel:

• Some travel, to other offices and other locations, will occasionally be expected. 
• Please note this role may require some travel during our peak delivery period (February-May) which could be up to 4 times per month.

Peers use their lived experience to raise awareness of hepatitis C, reduce stigma, and help people access testing and treatment.

About the role:

Our Health Team has an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Health Lead to join us, working across our Lewisham hostels. This is a role where you’ll shape how health support is delivered day to day, making sure people experiencing homelessness can access the care they need and stay connected to it.

You’ll work directly with residents who are often facing complex and long-standing health needs, supporting them in a way that is consistent, person-centred and genuinely meaningful. From completing initial health screenings and building tailored support plans, to making referrals and encouraging engagement with services like dentistry, mental health and primary care, you’ll play a key role in helping people take steps towards better health and stability.

Alongside this, you’ll hold a caseload of clients requiring more intensive support, working with them to understand their health, manage conditions and attend appointments. You’ll build strong, trusting relationships that help people feel more confident engaging with services, while also working closely with colleagues and partners to create a more joined-up and accessible health offer. Grounded in a psychologically informed approach, this role is about more than access – it’s about helping people make lasting improvements to their health and wellbeing.

About you:

• You bring knowledge (or a strong willingness to learn) about common health needs and the barriers people experiencing homelessness face when accessing car
• You know how to build trust with clients who may feel wary of services, using approaches that genuinely engage and empowers
• You understand local health systems and can navigate them to connect clients with the right support at the right time

The Trusts and Foundations (T&F) Officer is an integral part of the Philanthropy team, managing relationships with high value supporters. They are responsible for a portfolio of approximately 40-50 Trusts and Foundations donors, primarily giving between £25k-£100k, but also with the potential to include those giving below and above that level, to support with team capacity and best stewardship. CHEM Trust is looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations and Governance Officer to support the smooth and effective running of the organisation. Working closely with the Finance and Resources Officer and the Chief Operating Officer, the postholder will provide essential operational, governance, and HR administration support with a mind for confidentiality, enabling the wider team to focus on delivering CHEM Trust’s mission.

The role is ideal for someone with experience in charity operations, governance, and people processes, who enjoys coordinating activities, maintaining systems, and ensuring things run efficiently.
