We are seeking a Digital Marketing Officer to join our Development and Communications directorate and contribute to the ICR’s digital marketing needs – in particular, to support fundraising across all digital touchpoints. The successful candidate will play a key role in producing and editing digital fundraising content for the ICR’s website and donation platform; creating content for digital ads, including writing copy, working on video briefs, and collating appropriate imagery; our email marketing by writing compelling copy, building templates and working with data.

About You

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

Individual Giving 

• Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of individual giving efforts. Manage campaign setup, timelines, assets, and donor experience.

• Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing, and other internal teams, to source and develop compelling content.

Legacies  

• Plan and deliver multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns (print, digital, events)  

• Build and maintain relationships with legacy pledgers and prospects  

• Deliver high-quality, sensitive stewardship to recognise and retain legacy supporters  

• Organise events and communications to engage legacy supporters  

• Produce compelling and sensitive legacy messaging and materials  

Campaign/Programmes 

• Manage and grow the patrons programme, including recruitment, retention, and upgrades

IDEAL CANDIDATE 

Essential: 

• Relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent professional experience  

• Demonstrable experience in Individual Giving, Direct Marketing or Legacy fundraising, with an annual income return of 6+ figures  

• Proven track record of delivering successful multi-channel campaigns  

• Strong understanding of supporter journeys, acquisition and retention  

• Skilled in data analysis, performance tracking and forecasting   

• Proficiency with graphic design tools, experience with Canva would be an advantage.  

• Demonstrable experience with Raisers Edge, or similar CRM system

The Head of Change leads the development, coordination and delivery of the Foundation’s strategic change portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Transformation, this role provides expert direction on organisational change initiatives, ensures alignment with strategic priorities, and builds a culture where transformation is understood, embraced and delivered confidently across the organisation. 

The Head of Change acts as the Foundation’s change leader, helping to shape strategy, establishing structures for high-quality programme delivery, and ensuring teams are ready and supported through change. About the Youth Endowment Fund 

We’re here to prevent children and young people becoming involved in violence. We do this by finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice. 

All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

The Youth Endowment Fund exists to try and permanently change things. To succeed, we must build an exceptional body of knowledge about violence affecting young people and how we reduce it. This knowledge has to be both rigorous and highly relevant to those making decisions about how to support vulnerable young people. We need to find out what works and what doesn’t through evidence synthesis, data analysis and qualitative research into children’s lives. We need to convert this into highly accessible content on what works, how delivery organisations need to change their practice and how the systems they operate in need to be reformed. We then need to work with the right people that can make change happen, across systems, policies and practice, to have a real impact on reducing violence affecting children’s lives. 

The evaluation team contributes to the design and implementation of the fund’s various funding rounds. The team is also responsible for assessing, appointing, monitoring, and the quality assurance of rigorous impact evaluations from experts in the field. The Senior Evaluation Manager will play a key role in leading evaluation work. The post holder will also lead a team of evaluation managers, ensuring they have the support to deliver a portfolio of evaluation projects. 

Key responsibilities 

The core of your job is to ensure that we are excellent at evaluation, so that we can find out the very best ways to prevent young people and children from becoming involved in violence. 

Evaluation 

Working with the Head of Evaluation the post holder will: 

• Implement the processes for assessing the quality of evidence underpinning applications to the fund and making funding recommendations to the Grants and Evaluation Committee. 

• Shape the evaluation approach for individual grant rounds, including leading on this for a small number of rounds. 

• Act as a source of expertise on the statistical underpinnings of YEF’s evaluation work, including on issues such as  power calculations, regression analysis and  missing data.

• Lead the delivery of YEF’s evaluation work, designing, commissioning and managing complex and large-scale RCTs and QEDs

• Be responsible for YEF’s evaluation policies and reporting templates, ensuring they remain consistent and fit for purpose. 

• Be responsible for the ongoing development of YEF’s commissioning guidance. 

Team management 

The post holder will likely lead the recruitment, management and development of a team of evaluation officers and will: 

• Ensure they have the knowledge, skills and support to carry out their work effectively. 

• Provide regular feedback and coaching on written outputs. 

• Supervise and project manage the team’s evaluation work, providing quality assurance and monitoring of progress against project plans and project budgets. 

Collaborative working 

The post holder will contribute to the wider YEF team and will: 

• Be accountable to YEF’s Fund Leadership Team for the delivery of evaluations, on time and on budget, including reporting on risks and issues. 

• Work closely with colleagues across YEF and specifically the Programme team. 

• Ensure high-quality evidence is at the heart of all YEF activity and that the evidence we produce is communicated in a clear and accessible way which will drive sustainable change.

About you

• You have significant experience in carrying out or commissioning research including designing all aspects of the research and managing external contractors.  This may be in academia, government or a related sector.

Bowel Research UK is looking for a permanent Research and Grants Manager to coordinate and evaluate the management of the charity’s research activities. This role covers all aspects of pre- and post-award research management, impact reporting, grant finance management and governance, co-ordination of the Charity’s scientific committees and shaping external scientific communications to supporters and other stakeholders. The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission. 

The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.

Who are we looking for?

Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income.

The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.

Hybrid working

The role has a hybrid expectation of a minimum of a day a week in the High Wycombe office (HP11 2QW) to build relationships and provide support to the fundraising team, and there will be flexibility required for other in person meetings and events. The role

As Supporter Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for Population Matters’ supporters, ensuring that every interaction is timely, professional and engaging. You will help create positive and meaningful relationships that inspire supporters, increase satisfaction and deepen engagement, ultimately strengthening long-term support for our mission.

Acting as a first point of contact for supporters, you will:

• provide a high standard of customer service across a range of channels
• respond to enquiries, feedback and complaints with empathy and efficiency
• commit to delivering a consistently excellent experience
• seek opportunities to provide the ‘wow factor’ that makes supporters feel valued and appreciated
• help to build trust and donor retention.

Alongside supporter stewardship, you will be responsible for accurately processing donations, maintaining high-quality supporter records and providing effective administrative support to the Fundraising Team. With scrupulous attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a supporter-centric approach, you will contribute to the smooth running of fundraising operations and to the growth and retention of our supporter community.

The person appointed will be employed by the Cathedral Chapter and the Line Manager for this post will be the Canon Chancellor.

The Education Officer will work with the Canon Chancellor and the expert volunteers who support this department to develop, grow and deliver the schools and formal learning offers at the cathedral. In addition, they will work with others to develop the interpretation and activities for families and children, helping them to discover the cathedral and its work.

The post of Education Officer is located within Ripon Cathedral, which is a place of Christian worship and mission within the Church of England.  This is a creative and mission-led role, sitting at the heart of the cathedral’s commitment to education, outreach and discipleship.  The role requires a solid understanding of, and sympathy for the Christian faith. 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

Education Programme Development

• To develop and grow the education programme in support of the cathedral’s strategic objectives.
• To grow income from school visits and projects.
• To contribute actively to maintaining a healthy safeguarding culture in the cathedral. 

Leadership and Management of Volunteers

Lead, recruit, manage and develop the expert team of volunteers, creating a working environment which fosters commitment, enthusiasm and confidence with a positive safeguarding culture at its heart.

• Lead by example and promote team-working across the department and with the wider cathedral staff team.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff and volunteers to drive forward the delivery of the vision for the Cathedral. .

Formal Learning Offer

• Develop the formal learning offer at the cathedral to cover all ages and across the whole curriculum
• Create educational resources and activities aligned to the National Curriculum
• Work with partner organisations in the area to develop multi-site learning and visits
• Promote the offer to schools across the area, building up strong relationships with teachers and local networks, and act as primary contact for schools and groups.
• Work with the volunteers to deliver high quality school visits, workshops and educational activities
• Work positively and collaboratively with Chapter committees and working groups to develop the learning offer

Informal Learning Offer

• Liaise and work with the Cathedral’s Children and Families Officer to devise and deliver seasonal children and family activities during school holidays
• Assist in the development of children’s interpretation and the visitor offer for families

COMMON DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, whilst at work the post-holder must take reasonable care for his/her own health and safety and that of any other person who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions.  In addition, the post-holder must co-operate with the Cathedral on health and safety and not interfere with or misuse anything provided for his/her health, safety and welfare.

This is a pivotal role within a small, ambitious team, working closely with clinical leaders and committees to deliver high-quality education for a diverse membership including nurses, consultants, resident doctors, pharmacists, scientists and allied health professionals. 

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering BSH’s educational offer – from webinars and podcasts to in-person events and digital learning resources – as well as leading the development of our new online Knowledge Hub. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Support the BSH Education Committee and deliver its programme of educational activity 

• Plan, coordinate and deliver webinars, podcasts, events and educational resources 

• Lead the development and management of the BSH Knowledge Hub, ensuring content is high-quality, relevant and up to date 

• Track engagement and usage data, including CPD activity 

• Support delivery of education sessions at external events and contribute to BSH events 

• Work collaboratively with other societies and organisations to enhance educational content and signposting 

• Support educational outputs across BSH committees, particularly the Nurse Forum and Research Forum 

Finance Director

Hours of work 30 hrs / 4 days per week, permanent contract

Based Newhaven, with some hybrid working available after completing induction

The Role

You’ll join a small, collaborative compliance function, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, data and legal teams. This is a hands-on role with a mix of operational delivery and process improvement.

You will play a key role in helping the organisation maintain high standards of compliance across all fundraising activity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and triaging a busy compliance inbox, ensuring queries are responded to or escalated effectively
• Reviewing fundraising and marketing communications to ensure compliance with internal policies, data protection legislation and the fundraising code of practice
• Supporting GDPR and consent management processes, including maintaining records and reviewing documentation
• Assisting with the review of legitimate interest assessments and consent frameworks
• Monitoring third-party fundraising activity, including reviewing call recordings and identifying any compliance risks
• Supporting the production of complaints reports and analysis, providing insight to improve processes and supporter experience
• Contributing to the development of guidance and internal resources to strengthen compliance practices
• Building strong working relationships across fundraising, legal, data and supporter care teams

About You

This role would suit someone who is detail-focused, proactive, and confident working with policies and regulation in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:

• Experience in compliance, GDPR, data protection, quality assurance or complaints handling
• Confidence interpreting and applying policies, regulations or governance frameworks
• A strong understanding of consent and communication preferences
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
• High attention to detail and the ability to identify risks and recommend improvements

Experience within the charity, public sector, regulatory or membership environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
