Overview of Role:

The Operational Support Worker plays a vital role in enabling the team to offer compassionate, Christ centred support to vulnerable women. As the project has seen growth over the last few years, in response to rising demand, this role will play a key part in shaping and establishing the administrative systems, processes and procedures we’ve not yet had the capacity to formalise—ideal for someone who is energised by building structure, improving practice, and being part of creating solutions rather than stepping into a readymade setup. By carrying out the administrative, organisational, and practical tasks that keep the project running smoothly, they will help free frontline staff and evangelists to focus on building relationships, offering pastoral care, and walking alongside women in their daily challenges.

The purpose of the Administration Assistant role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Bishop of the Edmonton Episcopal area on a part-time basis, 17.5 hours per week. This is to ensure efficient handling of communications, management of schedules, and maintenance of records. Administrative

• Handle mail, inquiries, telephone calls, emails, and all other incoming communications.

• Monitor all clergy, licensed lay ministers and those with permission to officiate to ensure they are up-to-date with their DBS and Safeguarding Training.
• Manage the clergy 'blue files' in accordance with GDPR including ensuring blue files are available for statutory services when requested (e.g. police)

This includes families affected by a child’s life-limiting condition, and families who experience the sudden and unexpected death of their child. The Complementary Therapies service includes individual treatments and therapeutic support groups, to help ease physical discomfort, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment. 

About you 

This role requires a minimum of two years post qualification experience as a Complementary Therapist practicing aromatherapy and holistic massage. You may have additional qualification in reflexology, Indian head massage, or acupuncture. 

We are looking for someone with experience of working with individuals of different ages and those who have experienced trauma or significant mental health struggles You will be passionate about utilising the complementary therapies for easing a wide range of difficulties, including helping children with medical conditions, carers struggling with the emotional and physical difficulties that arise in caring for their life-limited child and families who have experienced the death of their child.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and technically strong finance professional who can operate both strategically and hands-on.

Essential experience and attributes:

• A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership or management role.
• Strong track record of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working with Boards, Governors, or senior stakeholders.
• Excellent understanding of financial controls, compliance, and best practice.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

Location & Working Pattern

The role is based on site at the School in Roehampton, South West London, with on-site presence expected to support close collaboration with stakeholders.

The YoungMinds Parents Helpline provides parents and carers with life-changing information, advice and support, and we are looking for an individual to join our incredible frontline team. This is a role where you can learn about the difficulties that young people and their families face, deliver high quality advice, offer crucial emotional support and be part of a service that makes a phenomenal difference.

You will be responding to helpline calls, which can cover wide-ranging and complex issues. You will be using helpline skills to listen to callers concerns, and draw on your expertise to provide tailored guidance to service users.

You will need to ensure that you follow helpline safeguarding and data protection procedures, and accurately record information into our Parents Helpline database. And, above all, you will have a strong passion for helping parents and carers to support themselves and their child in the best way they can.

OCVA is looking for an organised, proactive, and friendly Administrator to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is a varied and people-focused role that plays a key part in keeping our organisation running smoothly and supporting colleagues, trustees, and partners.

You will often be the first point of contact for OCVA, managing enquiries through our phone line and inbox, processing post, and helping ensure our office and shared workspace operate effectively and safely. You will also provide administrative support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, including scheduling meetings and circulating paperwork.

The role includes supporting our programme of online and in-person training, working closely with colleagues to schedule sessions, manage registrations and payments, and ensure events run smoothly. As a small charity with a wide-ranging brief, you will be fully integrated into the team and gain a strong understanding of our work, values, and impact across Oxfordshire’s voluntary and community sector.
