Settled is a dynamic charity that supports the rights of EU and Ukrainians citizens who have made the UK their home, through providing expert, multi-lingual services. We seek an experienced communications professional with technical and writing skills, who understands how great communications can boost the profile and sustainability of a charity and help it meet the needs of its beneficiaries. Organising events is also part of the role. Role is mainly remote-working with 2 days per month in Cardiff Bay and some travel to cities in other parts of the UK. Salary: £35,276 per annum pro rata ((£14,110.40 actual salary, inclusive of £3,990 Southeast Weighting)
Location: Borough of Lambeth and hybrid
Working hours: Part time: 14 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027 (extension subject to funding)
Job Description:
Key responsibility areas:
- To recruit, train and support women with experience of the criminal justice system and substance misuse needs, to become peer mentors.
- Maintain case management system to ensure accurate and timely data recording.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, such as substance misuse services, lived experience groups and networks.
- Work with colleagues to create opportunities for peer mentors to support women impacted by the criminal justice system and substance misuse issues.
