Brief Role Description:

Job Purpose
The Head of Corporate Partnerships is accountable for delivering substantial and sustained income growth from the private sector, with clear ownership of income targets, pipeline strength and conversion performance.

As a Support Worker at Ace of Clubs drop-in day centre supporting people who are homeless and facing adversity, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who may be navigating chaotic lifestyles, trauma, and multiple disadvantages. You will provide practical and emotional support, help people access essential services, and work to empower them to move towards independence.
Your role will involve working directly with service users, managing case records, liaising with partner agencies, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy centre. Ultimately, you will support people to overcome barriers, develop essential skills, and build confidence in navigating life challenges and providing advocacy where needed. In addition, Ace of Clubs works with a wide range of volunteers and partners on a daily basis including food partners, health partners, corporate, individual and client volunteers. Catching Lives is a community charity, currently staffed by a team of 10. We’re in the process of expanding with current recruitment, so that we can introduce community-based support alongside strengthening our core day centre offer.
The successful candidate will complete a structured induction that includes shadowing colleagues and visiting local services. Purpose of the Role

National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO).
Significant (3 years minimum) senior leadership experience in a school, AP, SEND, or online setting within the last year.
Proven experience in designing and delivering whole-school staff training.
Extensive (1 year minimum) experience as a DSL (safeguarding) and SENCO (SEND provision).
Deep understanding of KCSIE, the SEND Code of Practice, and OEAS/DfE requirements.
Experience in reviewing teaching and learning to drive quality improvement.
Significant experience supporting children and young people with barriers to learning and/or emerging or complex needs, including those with SEND, SEMH needs, interrupted education, Children Looked After, and learners requiring specialist or alternative provision.
Significant experience supporting learners with EHCPs and complex needs, while coordinating multi-agency support and collaborating effectively with local authorities, schools, and external agencies.
Experience contributing to quality assurance, school improvement or inspection readiness activities.

Crisis Café / Helpline Support Worker

Responsible to: Crisis Cafe/Helpline Coordinator
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22.5hrs (3 evenings) or 30hrs (4 evenings)
Work Pattern: 17:30 – 01:30, working across a 7-day flexible rota including some weekends
Salary: £26,000, increased to £26,775 following successful probation (pro-rata for part-time)
Working base: Stevenage - expectation to travel across all Cafe sites where necessary (Watford, Stevenage, Ware and Hatfield)
About the Role
To be a key member of the staff team delivering the Nightlight Mental Health Crisis Services. Taking part in a rota covering 7 days per week, ensuring the delivery of high-quality crisis support, and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the Crisis Cafe/Helpline services. Working closely with other staff such as the Service Manager, Team Leads, Coordinators, Support Workers and volunteers in order to ensure services are of the highest quality and to support the continued growth and development of the service.
About the Service
Hertfordshire Mind Network’s Nightlight Service (Cafés, Helpline, 24/7 Crisis House, A&E Liaison service and Daylight provision) is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention, and emotional support to people experiencing a mental health crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways.
We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our Helpline, Cafes and 24/7 Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary. As a member of our diverse team, you will work closely with service users in crisis, by using a person-centred approach to ensure that everyone is supported with dignity and respect. By honouring the individual experience of each service user, we are able to respect their autonomy as well as encourage and facilitate positive steps towards management of crisis and recovery.

The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.
The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. The successful candidate for this role will be someone who has already operated at a senior level within a charity such as at Senior Manager level, or Head of in a specific income stream.
Hybrid working
The role has a hybrid expectation of a minimum of a day a week in the High Wycombe office (HP11 2QW) to build relationships and provide support to the fundraising team, and there will be flexibility required for other in person meetings and events.
