We’re looking for a creative and data-driven Senior Social Media Officer to take the lead on managing and evolving our social media presence across multiple channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across our global teams to bring our brand to life online — raising awareness, driving engagement, and helping us tell powerful stories of change.
This role sits within our Brand & Communications team. You’ll be responsible for managing digital communities, creating compelling content, spotting trends, and using data insights to optimise our performance. You’ll also play a vital role in building capacity across the organisation, helping others to use social media in a way that’s consistent, impactful, and aligned with our global objectives.
Accountabilities
- Lead the development and delivery of our social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader communications goals.
- Manage our global social media channels and digital communities — engaging followers, responding to queries, and growing our reach.
- Create and coordinate engaging, platform-appropriate content — including graphics, video, and storytelling.
- Analyse and report on performance, using insights to inform strategy and day-to-day decisions.
- Stay ahead of trends, spotting new opportunities for engagement and innovation.
- Support colleagues and partners with expert advice, toolkits, and training to strengthen their own social media activity.

You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in social media strategy and management (experience in the INGO or development sector a plus).

- Strong storytelling skills and experience creating multimedia content, with grounded confidence to adapt master narratives and campaigns to diverse audiences.

About the Role
The Stakeholder Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager will lead all fundraising activity, including stakeholder partnerships and grant/trust income, overseeing a six figure annual income portfolio. Candidate Profile
We are looking for an experienced communications professional with at least 7 years’ experience in journalism or in leading successful communications for a non-profit organisation, PR agency, or similar. Ideally, you are a creative, hands-on individual with great inter-personal skills, able to form collaborative working relationships with a variety of different stakeholders, ranging from journalists to creative agencies and our NGO partners.
What we are looking for – Skills & Experience
The successful candidate must have:
- Demonstrable experience personally leading media outreach for major investigations or campaigns, with a proven record of securing top-tier international and national coverage (e.g. Financial Times, Guardian, Reuters, AP, Bloomberg, major broadcasters).
- A strong, active network of journalist contacts, and the confidence and instinct to pick up the phone, pitch stories, brief reporters, and manage embargoed launches under tight deadlines.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to craft sharp press materials; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Experience coordinating and executing major report launches, working closely with campaigners and partners to shape narratives that cut through, develop media strategies, prepare messaging, and proactively pitch stories to journalists.
- An exceptional eye for detail and an ability to distil complex research into clear, compelling, and accessible media and social-media content.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines, manage fast-moving campaigns, and perform under pressure.
- A creative, strategic mindset, able to think outside the box, introduce innovative communications tactics, and adapt messaging to a rapidly changing external environment.
- Digital fluency, with experience leading online engagement or mobilisation campaigns and an understanding of how digital channels support broader media and campaign goals.
- Willingness and ability to generate regular content to win campaigns, including social media posts, op-eds, blogs, newsletters, and other campaign materials; familiarity with tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, and Canva.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative working style, a growth mindset, and a positive, solution-focused, and proactive approach to communications and relationship-building, both internally and externally.

Role Overview
Working in the AdOps team, you will be helping develop campaign strategies based on our client needs. Campaign Associates are responsible for writing corresponding media plans and running campaigns on our own digital advertising platform (called Advocate) and other platforms, to ensure campaign goals are met.
As a fully remote company, you can work anywhere on the Central or Eastern timezones in the US or Canada // anywhere in the UK or Western Europe.

Assist in the design of digital advertising strategies for our clients

Execute digital advertising campaigns on a variety of advertising platforms.

Monitor campaign performance, and translate campaign reports into actionable optimisations to improve performance.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
Contract: 9months Fixed Term Contract - (Maternity Leave Cover)
You’ll be joining a team dedicated to raising vital year-round income and making Crisis supporters feel valued and inspired. This role will support the delivery of our Legacy Programme, as we continue to grow this source of sustainable income and inspire more supporters with this unique way of giving.
About the role
Legacies sit at the heart of our new Brand, Marketing and Fundraising Strategy as one of our highest-priority income streams. As Individual Giving Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering a programme of stewardship, marketing and acquisition that has driven significant growth in recent years.
As we continue to utilise and test new channels and audiences, you’ll be using creativity and innovation to develop campaigns and communications to inspire people with this way of giving. By collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation and our trusted partners, you’ll be bold in delivering an impactful stewardship programme that nurtures our supporters’ consideration. You’ll take an equitable approach in sharing stories of people experiencing homelessness, to deepen our supporters’ engagement and bring them closer to our mission.
About you
We’re looking for an organised project-manager and ideally someone with experience of delivering communications to a mass audience and/or digital acquisition. You’ll be an excellent communicator, online and in print, and be comfortable having tactful conversations with our supporters.
As this role is temporary maternity cover, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and get involved with multiple projects straight away. To be successful in this role you will:
- be an effective project-manager, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieve objectives
- enjoy thinking creatively and using storytelling to bring complex issues to life
- be confident in your communication skills, whether writing persuasively for a specific audience or talking 1:1 with a supporter of Crisis
- be comfortable using digital platforms and technology and working with data to improve outcomes
- take an organised and proactive approach to managing your workload and balancing different priorities
- be a solutions-focused problem solver and ready to adapt to a changing environment
Previous experience in direct marketing or stewardship is essential, ideally within a fundraising or legacy context. Most of all we’re looking for a candidate who’s passionate about ending homelessness and can play an active role in a busy, diverse and dynamic team.
