This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we launch our new five-year strategy, refreshed brand and new website. You’ll play a key role in helping us share the stories of seriously ill children, young people and their families, raising awareness of our work and inspiring more people to support Rays of Sunshine.
As our Senior Communications Officer, you’ll act as our story development lead, working directly with children, young people and families to sensitively capture the moments that demonstrate the impact of our work. You’ll develop case studies, coordinate photography and filming, create content for social media, website, press and email marketing, and help ensure our storytelling is handled with care, consent and integrity.
You’ll also support PR and media activity, build relationships with journalists, identify media opportunities, draft press releases and case studies, and help coordinate activity involving families, colleagues, ambassadors, celebrities and high-profile supporters.
Alongside this, you’ll support our Wish Ambassador programme, celebrity and influencer engagement, digital communications, social media, website content and wider communications campaigns. To succeed as our Senior Legacy Marketing Manager (UK and International), you’ll be a confident and strategic legacy marketing professional with a strong track record of delivering impactful campaigns that inspire supporters to leave a very special gift. You’ll bring a deep understanding of legacy fundraising, ideally gained within the charity or NGO sector, and feel comfortable working across both UK and international markets.
You’ll be highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to craft compelling messages for direct response and manage multi-channel campaigns.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead NCT’s marketing through an important period of growth, change and brand development, joining us for a 12 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
As Head of Marketing, you’ll lead our integrated marketing function, with a clear focus on driving income growth, particularly through course bookings, strengthening how parents see and experience NCT, and supporting wider revenue generation through partnerships.
You’ll bring together brand, content, campaigns and performance marketing so that our activity is more coordinated, audience-led and commercially focused. The Acquisition Marketing Manager attracts new UK supporters and generates income for Mary’s Meals’ school meals programme through effective and inspiring marketing across online and offline channels. The role primarily raises income (but also awareness) through multi-channel marketing activity with a clear focus on maximising ROI and delivering supporter growth at scale. The Manager works closely with the Mary’s Meals International team and its agency to deliver Google and Bing Paid Search, Google Grant, Display, and YouTube.

We are looking for a Marketing Support Administrator to report to and support the Service Coordinator in the daily running of the charity which runs on a part-time basis. This is an exciting time for the charity as long-term funding has been secured.
Levenshulme Good Neighbours, (LGN) is a local charitable incorporated organization (reg 1163827) offering befriending services to socially isolated and lonely over 55-year-olds members of the Levenshulme local community. We do this by providing local volunteers to match locals struggling from a lack of social companions. We also host Sunday Luncheons and Slow-Moving Exercise classes.
The Marketing and Support Administrator will be tasked with creating newsletters, data entry, management of client files, dealing with invoices, receipts, social media campaigns, attending promotional and communal events, creating board meeting agendas and other vital tasks to keep the charity running smoothly. We are hoping someone with an optimal outlook and positive attitude can join our team.
