The Peer Support In-Reach Service is a partnership between several local Minds. Senior Peer Support Workers and Peer Support Workers, who have direct lived experience of mental health issues, are working on in-patient wards in Croydon, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Wandsworth to provide recovery-focused peer support to people as they leave hospital and journey towards living independently in the community.
We are seeking a Peer Support Worker who has personal lived experience of mental health challenges. This individual will act as a role model for service users, utilizing their own recovery journey to instil hope and resilience. By sharing their life experiences and the lessons learned throughout their recovery, they will motivate others.
The Peer Support Worker will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team within the Unit, assisting in-patients in developing essential skills and coping mechanisms, while promoting overall wellness through strength based and non-directive conversations. They will provide both practical and emotional support, facilitate access to community resources to help individuals maintain their independence while ensuring their wellbeing.
Additionally, this role includes supporting service users after discharge in the community for up to 12 weeks, aiding them in fostering independence within their local community, connecting with various agencies, enhancing life skills, providing guidance related to employment or educational opportunities and improving their ability to manage challenges effectively to prevent re-admission.
This position requires building connections with service users through shared experiences of mental health challenges, making lived experience a crucial requirement for applicants.

The Pop-up Shop Lead will manage all aspects of the Derry Castle Street Pop Up Shop, including leading and supporting volunteers, maximising income generation and ensuring an excellent customer and donor experience.

The Organisation: YCS (Cwmni Siarad) was originally set up in 2011 to improve access to and meet the needs of groups traditionally under-represented in taking up psychological therapies, through the provision of accessible, evidence-based therapies and other support. It has been mainly run by volunteers but is now progressing widening its services to provide facilities for private and contractual counselling support. Any profits from its activities is used to subsidise the provision of counselling support to individuals who have difficulty accessing counselling services for a variety of reasons. Apart from the delivery of face-to-face counselling in South East Wales, the organisation provides on-line counselling services throughout Wales.
Job Purpose: To lead, manage and develop YCS Counselling services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible and ethical counselling provision. The postholder will support the safe and effective practice of student and volunteer counsellors, overseeing both the client journey and the placement experience to ensure positive outcomes for clients and a supportive, structured development environment for counsellors.
The role requires a strong understanding of the counselling sector, with the ability to work empathetically with a diverse client group, while supporting and guiding counsellors on placement.

Grow is a youth development charity working with 16-24 year olds facing significant challenges in Sheffield. Many young people we work with experience mental health difficulties that have resulted in social isolation and a lack of engagement in work or training prospects. Role Description
The Training Manager at Grow is a pivotal role responsible for the design, delivery, and strategic growth of Grow’s youth employability programmes. The role bridges the gap between programme development and delivery, and ensures every stage of a young person’s Grow journey is meaningful and supports their progression into education, employment or training.
Strategy, Partnerships & Referrals
Develop Grow’s referral strategy and cultivate strong links with key partners across Sheffield.
Coordinate the referral pathway and onboarding of trainees, overseeing the induction process to ensure a welcoming, coaching-led introduction to Grow.
Programme Design & Delivery
Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of the coaching curriculum and resources across Grow Training and Grow Employment, including RHS‐badged content and new pilot programmes.
Deliver high‐quality coaching sessions that blend farm‐based activities with core coaching aims, creating meaningful engagement and supporting deep learning for trainees.
Develop and manage the Google Workspace systems and administrative processes necessary to run both programmes smoothly.
Oversee the quality of 1-to-1 volunteer coaching to ensure consistent trainee support.
Support the evaluation and reporting of trainee progress and overall programme outcomes and impact.
Employment Partnerships & Trainee Transitions
Lead the securing of employment partners and coordinate partnership operations to broaden trainee opportunities.
Develop and coordinate recruitment and HR administration for trainees for the Grow Employment stage
Design and coordinate robust transition pathways, ensuring trainees move confidently into their next phase of education or employment.
Wider Responsibilities
Take responsibility for developing and evolving Grow’s long‐term programme strategy.
Actively develop networks within the green sector to create new opportunities for Grow and our trainees.
Develop a supportive alumni community by organising social events and participating in wider Grow team activities.

AFK is a national charity whose mission is to create opportunities for children and young people who are disabled or neurodiverse, to increase their independence, reach their individual potential and remove the barriers they face.

In response to this we offer bespoke employment skills training and organise work experience across North London. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.
Overall Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic leadership and operational management for the charity, working closely with the Board of Trustees to deliver our mission and ensure AFK's sustainability and growth. You will lead a team of around 30 staff and volunteers, managing an annual budget of approximately £2 million.
As the visible leader of the organisation, you'll inspire and motivate the team through your presence and engagement. You'll be responsible for building strong team relationships, providing hands-on support when required, and will demonstrate the charity's values in everything you do. By leading from the front and showing the commitment and passion that drives AFK forward, you'll create a culture where everyone is motivated to deliver their best work.
Working Conditions
The post is 35 hours a week, normally 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The post holder may be expected to work some evenings and weekends as required by the job.
28 days annual leave will be given in addition to public holidays.

Working Relationships
The CEO will maintain close working relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders. You'll work collaboratively with a Board of eight trustees to drive the charity's strategy forward, providing regular updates and ensuring effective governance.
You'll line manage members of the Senior Management Team, ensuring a cohesive and effective leadership group.
Building and nurturing relationships with key funders, partners, and supporters will be essential to the role. You'll act as an ambassador for the charity with AFK’s stakeholders, representing our mission and impact. Developing strong networks within the sector and maintaining meaningful connections with service users will be vital to ensuring the charity remains responsive and relevant to those it serves.
You'll also build visible and accessible connections with the wider staff team through regular communication and engagement across the organisation.
Importantly, this is a hands-on leadership role with a direct portfolio responsibility. In addition to your organisational leadership duties, you will lead and manage one of our core functional areas, whether that is Service Delivery, Fundraising, or Finance and Operations. You'll bring your specialist expertise and people management skills to this area, taking ownership of its performance and development.
This means the CEO role combines strategic leadership of the whole organisation with active, day-to-day accountability for a defined part of it.

Role and Resonsibilties
This role oversees the securing and reporting of our Trusts and Foundation income, including working closely with colleagues to develop relevant, impactful and deliverable funding proposals and coordinate the stewardship of key trust and foundation relationships.
The role works closely with all colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach to income generation across the charity and our different supporter groups.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in preparing and submitting successful funding applications and proposals to charitable trusts and foundations, with a track record of securing five and six figure gifts, ideally within the refugee’s sector. You will have experience of working with, and applying for funding from, some of the larger grant organisations.
You will be experienced in identifying suitable prospects, developing pipelines, and managing funder relationships, adopting a strategic approach when working with colleagues across the organisation.
Location and Hours
This is a hybrid role, with at least one day per week worked on site at our Brixton office and/or Deptford workshop, and the remaining hours worked remotely.
The role is part-time (0.6 FTE), equivalent to 3 days per week, and can be worked flexibly across either Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday. Some occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
