The reasons people fundraise for CALM can be deeply personal. They might have lost someone to suicide, used our helpline for themselves or someone they know, or they might want to support a lifesaving service. By understanding what drives them, you’ll shape and deliver event experiences that feel meaningful and memorable, strengthen their connection to CALM, and inspire them to keep coming back for more.
Responsibilities
Support on delivery of the Challenge Events portfolio, ensuring Challenge Event Fundraisers are staying on track - such as completing registration forms on time, and setting up fundraising pages
Provide end-to-end operational support for fundraising events, including liaising with venues, partners and suppliers, obtaining quotes, coordinating travel and logistics, working with production teams, preparing materials, producing risk assessments, and creation of event documentation such as briefs, schedules and post-event evaluations
Represent CALM at Events, including acting as an Event Day Lead, and attending wider CALM events

Are you an enthusiastic digital fundraiser with experience of raising income for a charity by building relationships with both individual and corporate donors?
Staying Put is well known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike. We are experts in the domestic abuse field and we continue to develop exciting, new services that are breaking the mould of traditional service provision in this sector.
About the role
The focus of the role will be on digital campaigns and organising and promoting fundraising events to generate new income streams for the charity. These new income streams will allow us to move away from reliance on our core funding and enable us to diversify into areas necessary for us to aim for our strategic goal and reach more clients.

Corporate Fundraising Manager (Band 7)
Salary: £49,387-£56,511 per annum Band 7 (appointing at £49,387)
Contract: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Location: predominately home-based, with travel across NCA sites (Royal Oldham, Salford Royal, Fairfield General and Rochdale) as required and typically 1 day per week, in person, with the team (usually Bury, alongside occasional networking and stakeholder meetings.)

About the role
As Corporate Fundraising Manager, you'll lead the development and growth of NorthCare's corporate income stream, creating meaningful partnerships with businesses and organisations that share their commitment to improving healthcare across Greater Manchester. You'll develop and deliver corporate engagement opportunities, including income-generating and relationship-building events, using these strategically to cultivate, build and grow corporate partnerships and income.
You'll play a key role in delivering the corporate fundraising strategy, nurturing existing supporters while proactively identifying and securing new partnership opportunities. Working collaboratively across the charity, you'll create engaging and mutually beneficial partnerships that generate sustainable income and long-term support.
You'll be responsible for delivering corporate fundraising income targets and managing budgets across a range of income streams, including sponsorship, donations, gifts in kind and strategic partnerships. You'll also develop thoughtful stewardship journeys that ensure supporters feel valued, connected to the impact of their giving and inspired to continue their involvement.

About The Bike Project
The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees. We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.
The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of committed staff, an online bike shop and two workshops, one in London and one in Birmingham.
To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.
We are now working towards our ambitious goal - that every refugee, wherever they are, can access the transformative power of a bike. Alongside this, we are strengthening our processes and procedures to ensure we are work efficiently and sustainably.
To help us do this we need people that are full of ideas, who love problem solving and are not afraid to suggest new ways of doing things to achieve the best possible results for our community.
Role and Responsibilities
This role will suit someone who can adapt or work in a fast-paced environment, who can prioritise activities based on the expected amount of income they generate.
As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role across a wide range of fundraising activities, including supporting Trusts and Foundations grant applications, managing our challenge events programme, leading DIY fundraising initiatives, assisting with individual giving appeals, delivering supporter events, and ensuring high-quality donor stewardship. You’ll work closely with colleagues to engage supporters, drive income, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.
Skills and Qualiifcations
We’re looking for a proactive Fundraising Officer with strong digital skills and experience using fundraising platforms such as Raisely. You’ll have a track record in campaign delivery, event management, and donor communications, with excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messages for different audiences. Previous fundraising experience is essential, along with the ability to take initiative and work independently to achieve results.
Location
Hybrid - At least two days per week on site in our London office (Brixton) and Deptford workshop, the remainder of your hours can be worked remotely.
