Project & Fundraising Support Officer

About the role
This is a varied, entry-level role offering hands-on experience across programme delivery, fundraising, communications and administration. You will support our UK nutrition project - the IMPACT Tasty Team - helping deliver community sessions, recruit volunteers, liaise with partners, monitor activities and support fundraising and reporting.

You will also contribute to IMPACT's wider international work, including assisting with fundraising proposals and donor engagement, supporting communications and social media, and helping manage relationships with international partners in Asia and Africa.

We are seeking a Mission Enabler, Regional Mission to work in partnership with key staff across the Movement. They will provide direction and energy to Scripture Union’s Regional Ministry with a focus on establishing and sustaining ministry opportunities. This will require the person to recruit, motivate, train, equip and support a large number of volunteers/Faith Guides, with whom they work in partnership as well as leading by example, through the modelling of excellent mission delivery to children and young people consistent with Scripture Union’s mission. · Identify, recruit and support Faith Guides, volunteers and Local Mission Partners (LMPs) through a range of methods, including electronic, phone and face to face.

· Lead local mission activity within Scripture Union’s mission framework, establishing a clear hand-over process and timetable to local church partners.

· Pioneer new approaches/ideas in line with SU’s strategy that have the potential to be replicated elsewhere and lead to a greater scale and depth of mission activity.

· Support, by promotion or direct involvement,  SU’s wider programme of holidays and missions across England and Wales and, if appropriate, internationally.

West Mercia Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC) is seeking to appoint an experienced, compassionate and highly motivated Early Intervention, Prevention and Assessment Practitioner to join our Purple Leaf service. This is an opportunity to contribute to specialist work aimed at preventing sexual harm and supporting children and young people, families, carers and professionals through high-quality assessment, consultation, intervention and training. The post also includes specialist assessment and intervention work relating to sexualised behaviours.

About the Role
As Early Intervention, Prevention and Assessment Practitioner, you will:

• Undertake risk and needs assessments and produce clear reports and recommendations
• Deliver psychological, psychoeducational and therapeutic interventions
• Manage a defined caseload of clients
• Work closely with children and young people, families, carers, professionals and partner agencies
• Develop and deliver specialist sexual violence training and educational resources
• Maintain accurate records, evaluation data and outcome reporting
• Help develop service policies, procedures and practice guidance
• Promote Purple Leaf and WMRSASC services locally and nationally
• Represent WMRSASC at meetings, events and through stakeholder engagement.

About You
We are looking for someone who brings both professional expertise and a strong commitment to survivor-centred, trauma-informed practice.
You will ideally have:

• A Level 3 qualification or above in social care, health care, community work, education, therapy or a related field
• Experience of working within the sexual violence field
• Experience of working with children and families
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and legislation and guidance relating to sexual violence
• The ability to provide non-judgemental, trauma-informed support
• Strong organisational, communication and crisis management skills
• Confidence working independently and collaboratively with multi-agency partners
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable qualifications include AIM Specialist or equivalent assessment training, Adult Learning certification, and a Level 3 qualification in Sexual Violence.

The Joint Public Issues Team (JPIT) is recruiting to two full time paid internship positions to start in September 2026.

Interns work as part of a small ecumenical team on a diverse range of tasks and initiatives including communications, policy, campaigning and supporter engagement, contributing to the public advocacy and political engagement work of the Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Churches.

JPIT is a partnership between the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, and the Church of Scotland is an associate partner. Its purpose is to help the Churches to work together for peace and justice through listening, learning, praying, speaking and acting on public policy issues. It is a team which brings together around ten staff working across the denominations. In recent years it has focused on issues around poverty, the economy, refugees and migration, the environment, peace and conflict, and politics.

These internships provide opportunities to develop skills in campaigning, communications, research, and policy within a dynamic team environment. There will be opportunities for professional and personal learning and development to equip the intern for further employment after their time on the internship. Whilst we are looking for some evidence of certain skills and experience, candidates will have the opportunity to develop relevant skills during their time in the role.

They are full time paid roles with fixed-term contracts to the end of August 2027, and a salary of £26,936.00 per year (we are committed to paying at least the London Living Wage). The Fostering Recruitment Officer/Family Support Worker role focuses on working with prospective and approved foster carers, children and families. You will be available to respond to and visit prospective foster carers as well as plan and participate in recruitment events across the region, contribute to face-to-face and online activities and opportunities to support those interested in fostering.

New Hope is a 24 hour supported accommodation service for adult males with diagnosis of mental health and convictions. As a Forensic Mental Health Recovery Worker you will identify individual resident needs, and provide person centred, tailored support to residents to help them overcome their personal challenges and achieve their goals. We support our residents in developing coping strategies and building supportive relationships, with a commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and customer service. 

You will support with tenancy matters proactively, providing responsive support and fostering a positive environment where residents feel secure and valued. You will do this through a combination of producing tailored support plans, activities, and partnership working. You will support us continue to work in a trauma informed way, and create a psychologically informed environment, which supports us in creating a safe, respectful, and responsive environment which puts our people and communities at the forefront. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Build and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with residents, offering both practical assistance and emotional support.

What could my day look like?

The Education Worker role is a frontline, fast-paced and rewarding role where no two weeks will look the same. A typical day will have different activities, possibly spread between the IntoUniversity centre, partner schools and the offices of a corporate partner.

In the morning, you might be setting off with resources to run a workshop for sixth-form students in their secondary school. In the afternoon you may be setting up the classroom ahead of running Primary Academic Support for young people in your IntoUniversity centre. On other days, you may be travelling to a corporate partner to run a business simulation workshop for 15 year-olds or leading a group of final year primary school students on a campus visit for their graduation.

About the Role

Join us as a National Programmes Administrator and help drive the smooth delivery of our Education, Training & Employment, Money Management and Client Involvement programmes. You’ll coordinate grants, placements, mentoring activities and digital learning resources, ensuring clients can access opportunities that build confidence and independence. With strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you’ll manage programme data, produce clear impact reports, maintain efficient systems and research external support agencies to strengthen our national directory.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll support client engagement activities, manage communications with professionalism and keep programme operations running seamlessly. This role is perfect for someone proactive, adaptable and collaborative—someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is motivated by helping people make positive, lasting change.

Please note that this role is offer as a part time (15 hours per week) permanent basis. The appointed person will be based in our Manchester Office.

Key deliverables:

• Support with the administration of grants to clients

• Provide organisational and administrative support in the coordination of the volunteer mentoring, client placement project, client representative role, alumni role and other client involvement initiatives.

• Research and collate information pertaining to external agencies and services to support Depaul clients in their progression.

• Build and maintain strong partnerships/engagement within the Programmes Team

· Collate performance, value and impact information, and generate reports to evaluate and demonstrate the value of the programme delivery

· Support and promote client engagement activities to meaningfully engage clients and keep service colleagues aware of client involvement work.

• Produce regular reports, case studies detailing client engagement and participation with the programmes

• Manage and monitor inbox communications, responding promptly and professionally while providing detailed support, and proactively flagging any areas of uncertainty to the manager for guidance.

• Work collaboratively to identify and share relevant, interesting, and useful information for the monthly newsletter that benefits colleagues and staff.

Your Development

• In conjunction with your Line Manager to continuously develop the role to ensure that all tasks are being undertaken in an effective and appropriate manner which meets the strategic aims and objectives of Depaul UK

• To participate in regular supervision and annual appraisal, and help in identifying your own job-related development and training needs.

General responsibilities

• Participate in internal/external meetings as required, and attend training events, conferences and other functions as necessary.

In the 1980s, high unemployment and steep inflation was contributing to a shocking rise in youth homelessness across London. Thousands of young people were sleeping rough every night, with many areas notoriously dubbed “cardboard cities” due to the visible rise in street homelessness.
