Reporting to the Head of Finance, and supporting our small talented highly talented Team your key tasks will be to:
· assist staff managing project finances ;

You will be part or fully qualified, with at least 4 years’ progressive experience supporting charity financial management including budget compilation, donor reports and grant management. About the role
The Finance Manager will ensure the smooth, accurate, and compliant day-to-day financial operations of THS. You will oversee transactional processing, payroll, local group accounting, management of our partner charity accounts, creating monthly management reports and year-end audit preparation.

Cloudesley is an independent charitable trust that makes grants to people, organisations and churches in Islington of c. £ 2million per year. Our grants budget is split equally between our Health and Church Grants programmes.
In June 2025, Cloudesley’s total assets were £57 million and the annual gross income was £1.5 million. Currently, around half of Cloudesley's endowment is held in financial market investments managed by Cazenove, and the other half is in c. 90 residential properties on the Cloudesley Estate in Islington. This is a new role in the finance team, to support the growing remit of the Minster's facilities and initiatives. Working alongside staff and volunteers who lead youth and children's work, groups for older people, hearing aid clinics, pastoral care, a community cafe and a foodbank, we need a strong communicator who is highly organised - a great team player in a lively organisation.
The scope of the role includes routine financial oversight including aspects of management and statutory accounting, budgeting, VAT, Gift Aid, payroll and audit.
Part-time 23 hours per week. Salary £24,500 - £27,500 per year (FTE £40,000 to £45,000).

Carers Support Bristol and South Gloucestershire is entering a new strategic period, and we are looking for a Finance Manager who wants support real change. You will have the chance to shape how we plan, report, forecast and make decisions, helping us build strong financial systems that support high-quality services for adults, parent carers and young carers across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
The role is available due to the upcoming retirement of our current Finance Manager, creating an opportunity for someone to bring fresh insight, strengthen our processes and work closely with the CEO, Treasurer, Senior Management Team and Finance Officer.
You will lead the day-to-day finance function, produce monthly management accounts, oversee payroll, support budget holders, manage cash flow forecasting, review investments, strengthen financial policies and controls, and provide financial modelling for funding applications, tenders and service planning.
This is a varied and influential role where your work will directly support better decisions, better use of resources and stronger services for unpaid carers, who play such a vital role in our communities.
We are looking for someone who can combine technical finance skills with a practical, collaborative approach. You will be confident explaining financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues, spotting risks and opportunities, and helping managers understand the financial impact of their decisions.

About you
