Our Community Projects Worker will work with families and residents across the community to develop positive activities and services which promote a sense of belonging and help break the cycle of disadvantage.

We’re looking for an individual who has a passion for supporting families and adults, and developing community led activities. The role will involve supporting families and adults in the community, but also families in our local Oasis academies, inspiring and enabling local people to be an active voice and developer in their local area.

Key responsibilities include:

· To work with the Youth & Community Lead and other team members/partners as required to create and implement a strategy and vision for our food insecurity work.

· Ensuring effective financial management and income generation to sustain and expand services

· Managing and growing a team of volunteers, ensuring alignment with Oasis’ ethos and values.

· Building strong partnerships with local stakeholders to support the delivery of impactful community projects.

· Work directly with families and the wider community in a non-judgemental way empowering them and their families to get the most out of the opportunities available.

· Create opportunities for families and the community to get involved in shaping and delivering the work of the community projects.

· Developing and maintaining monitoring and evaluation frameworks to demonstrate the impact of activities.

· Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and other statutory requirements.

The successful post holder must have:

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.

We’re looking for an experienced trade union organiser to lead campaigns, grow our membership, support activists and deliver outstanding representation.

The role

Our 1,200 staff work across 12 UK regions and our national centre in London. Regional offices support the work of local branches, helping to represent, recruit, organise and retain members, as well as making key contributions in areas such as campaigning, strategies for negotiation and bargaining, and actions against discrimination.

As a Regional Organiser, you’ll be playing a hands on, day to day leadership role, as well as acting as an advocate of the union. Guiding, supporting and developing local branches and activists to ensure the strongest possible workplace organisation, you’ll identify activist training and development needs, provide coaching and mentoring to stewards and branch officers, and manage a small team of area/local organisers. Additionally, you will lead negotiations, represent members individually and collectively, and help branches to develop effective systems and processes for handling casework.

This is a field based role and you will need to be able to travel in and around the South West region, including to our regional offices in Bristol, Exeter, Taunton and Poole, as required and occasionally to London for training, meetings or other purposes. The South West region covers a large area from Wiltshire to Cornwall.  However, for the foreseeable future we expect this post to be based in the Bristol office and will be supporting our branches in the north of the region (Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire).

The Job 

Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, this role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team. The Church Engagement and Events Officer will play a key role in building relationships with churches, supporters and volunteers across Britain, Ireland and Europe, helping them engage more deeply with USPG's vision and mission.

About the Role
As a Health & Wellbeing Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our Long-Term Health Conditions Programme. This includes leading self-management workshops, organising peer support groups, and empowering clients to make positive lifestyle changes. You’ll be a key player in helping individuals build confidence, enhance their health knowledge, and take control of their well-being. Working closely with colleagues and volunteers, you’ll connect clients to valuable services, create support networks, and make a tangible difference in their lives.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with the Lifestyle Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging health and well-being workshops for individuals with ongoing health conditions.
• Facilitate support groups, training and supervising volunteer peer mentors to provide targeted, condition-specific guidance.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to ensure a smooth referral process for additional services like Befriending, Carer Support, and Handyperson services.
• Provide personalised support through various channels, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and online communication.
• Help clients develop essential skills, such as managing medication, reducing stress, and communicating with healthcare providers.
• Monitor programme outcomes, maintain accurate client records, and contribute to continuous service improvement.

About You
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for helping others. You should have experience working with individuals who face health challenges and a commitment to promoting independence and well-being. Knowledge of local resources and services is a plus, as is experience in organising health-related workshops or programmes.

• Our Data Selections Analysts develop, run and maintain targeted data selections and multistage supporter journeys across a range of communication channels.

• This role enables effective fundraising, fulfilment and engagement activity for supporters and customers across Cats Protection. Working closely with campaign owners, and colleagues across Data & Analytics, the role translates business requirements into accurate, supporter centric and compliant communications that support organisational objectives.

About the Data & Analytics team: 

• The Data & Analytics team are a department of 17 people in the Marketing & Income Generation directorate consisting of four sub-teams : data processing, data selections, data analytics and customer journeys. 

• The Data Selections sub-team manages and segments supporter and customer data to provide accurate, targeted selections for fundraising, marketing, and other charity communications and customer journeys, while ensuring data quality and compliance. 

What we’re looking for in our Data Selections Analyst : 

• Substantial experience working with contact data within a CRM system or database (ideally in a fundraising context.)

• Experience producing and adapting targeted marketing, fundraising or customer communication selections.

• Experience interpreting business requirements and translating them into audience selections, segmentation or automated communication processes.

• Experience using data selection, campaign management or marketing automation tools such as Apteco Faststats and PeopleStage or similar.

• Experience writing queries using a structured language such as SQL or similar 

• Good understanding of data protection legislation and responsible data use in communications.

Head of Support and Advocacy

The Head of Support and Advocacy provides operational leadership across We Are Survivors’ support and advocacy services. Working closely with the Service Director, Operations Director and Executive Team, the role ensures services are effective, well governed and meet the needs of survivors and their loved ones. This includes overseeing our trauma-informed, survivor-centred approach; monitoring service performance; safeguarding and record-keeping; and ensuring contractual commitments and quality standards are met. The role also represents the organisation in external partnerships and helps shape services in response to changes in policy, evidence and the needs of people with lived experience.

About You

Head of Support and Advocacy

You’ll be an experienced operational or clinical leader who is comfortable overseeing services that work with trauma, mental health and complex needs. You’ll understand how to balance compassionate, survivor-centred practice with effective governance, safeguarding, quality assurance and contractual performance. Experience of working with men, sexual harms or people with lived experience would be valuable, alongside the ability to build strong relationships with staff, partners and stakeholders. We are seeking a Finance Officer (Accounts Payable) to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has significant hands-on experience managing purchase orders, supplier reconciliations and accounts payable processes. You'll play a vital role in ensuring supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently, helping to maintain robust financial controls across the organisation.

• Processing approximately 200 supplier invoices every fortnight
• Managing the purchase ledger and maintaining accurate supplier records
• Overseeing the purchase order process, ensuring correct authorisation and invoice matching
• Performing supplier statement reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
• Processing payment runs and maintaining accurate payment records
• Supporting weekly bank reconciliations and resolving unreconciled items
• Preparing and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
• Processing staff expenses and corporate card reconciliations
• Monitoring finance queries and providing excellent internal and external customer service
• Supporting month-end, year-end and audit processes

What we're looking for:

• Significant charity experience in a transactional finance or accounts payable role
• Strong experience managing purchase requisition and purchase order processes
• Proven ability to complete supplier reconciliations and confidently investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Experience processing invoices, payment runs and maintaining purchase ledgers
• Experience preparing balance sheet and bank reconciliations

About the role:

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker for a fixed term period of up to 12 months, on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week) to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Kentown Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Kentown Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.

Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

What we’re looking for:

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked in a community environment and those with a recognised qualification in education, health or social care.

· A warm, inclusive approach to achieving goals quickly and correctly.

· Practiced in child protection, information sharing and the rules around data protection - you lead by example, drawing on your own professional experience and working within established guidelines.
