We are looking for an experienced supporter care or customer service professional to join our team, as a Supporter Care Administrator.
About the Role
The Supporter Care team is a knowledgeable, personable team who provides a point of access for all supporter enquiries and support donation processing, and teams across fundraising to deliver excellent customer experience.
Your role as a Supporter Care Administrator will provide a key point of engagement for our supporters and provide a knowledgeable and professional experience; whether they are looking to find out more or donate to the charity.
Reporting to the Supporter Care Team Leader and sitting within the wider fundraising team, you will provide high quality care to our supporters from within the fire and rescue services and wider public, via phone, email and web-based apps.
With the team, you will be implementing the new Supporter Care Strategy, in line with an increasing focus on great supporter experience. You will be an important champion for our supporters, developing processes and insight to measure this and share feedback that highlights opportunities and challenges.
There will be the occasional requirement to travel within the UK for in person trainings or meetings. This role is subject to a basic DBS check.
About You
To be successful you will have strong customer support experience, either directly working with supporters in charities, or be able to demonstrate relevant and transferable experience of excellent customer service principles and knowledge.
Our ideal candidate will also have a good knowledge of GDPR, safeguarding and inclusion best practices, experience of data entry and CRM systems, and will be a clear communicator with good attention to detail.

Specific responsibilities
Supporter care, stewardship and engagement
- Recruit, manage and support guests attending Back Up’s high-profile special events, delivering a seamless and memorable experience from invitation to follow-up.
- Work closely with the Partnerships Team to engage, steward and strengthen relationships with corporate partners and sponsors connected to special events.
- Recruit, develop and manage a dedicated team of volunteers, supporting them in line with Back Up’s volunteering policy and ensuring they feel confident, motivated and appreciated.
- Partner with the Finance team to ensure robust, efficient processes are in place to handle income, process donations and thank supporters promptly and accurately.
- Support Event Committee members by coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and enabling committees to play a meaningful role in the success of events.
- Build strong relationships with the Services Team to recruit people with spinal cord injury, along with their family and friends, to engage with and benefit from our special events programme.
Operational Events Co-ordination and Support
- Deliver the operational coordination of Special and Cultivation events, including managing enquiries, fundraising communications and timely supporter thank-yous.
- Prepare and maintain detailed risk assessments with the Special Events Manager to ensure safe and professional event delivery.
- Manage and build strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Work with the Communications Team to deliver creative marketing and communications plans that grow audiences and raise awareness of events.
- Support the Special Events Manager to develop and deliver the annual special events fundraising plan, contributing to budgets and KPIs to increase income and reach.
- Proactively identify and develop new and existing Special and Cultivation event opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supporter, guest and volunteer interactions on the database.
- Keep up to date with fundraising best practice and sector standards.
- Provide regular reporting to the Special Events Manager, including progress against KPIs and budgets.
- Undertake other duties as required to support the Special Events programme.

About you
We’re looking for an organised project-manager and ideally someone with experience of delivering communications to a mass audience and/or digital acquisition. You’ll be an excellent communicator, online and in print, and be comfortable having tactful conversations with our supporters.
As this role is temporary maternity cover, we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and get involved with multiple projects straight away. To be successful in this role you will:
- be an effective project-manager, adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieve objectives
- enjoy thinking creatively and using storytelling to bring complex issues to life
- be confident in your communication skills, whether writing persuasively for a specific audience or talking 1:1 with a supporter of Crisis

The role

Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS) champions animal welfare around the world, sending vets where they are needed most, providing expert veterinary training in hard-to-reach places, and shipping urgent aid supplies worldwide. Last year they treated over 103,000 animals, trained over 2,800 vets and vaccinated over 1.2 m dogs against rabies.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Corporate Partnerships Manager will lead on the development and delivery of the charity’s corporate fundraising strategy, shaping a high-potential income stream to create impactful partnerships with businesses that align with WVS’s mission and values. The role will be responsible for identifying, research and approaching prospective corporate partners to build a strong new business pipeline and managing and nurturing existing corporate relationships to ensure long-term engagement and growth. Summary of the role:
The Head of Income Generation & Marketing is a key member of Muslim Aid’s Leadership Team, responsible for executing the organisation’s fundraising and marketing strategy and overseeing all marketing and communications activities across the organisation. The post holder will lead the delivery of income generation plans, providing strategic direction and hands-on operational support to their direct reports to maximise income across all sub-department income streams. They will be accountable for growing and sustaining revenue from a diverse portfolio of supporters across the UK, ensuring income targets are met or exceeded.
The role includes mentoring and leading Management, supporting them to implement effective fundraising activity, achieve ambitious income and renewal targets year on year, and deliver high-quality stewardship experiences for supporters.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver MA’s cross organisational fundraising and marketing strategy with a focus on sustainable and reliable unrestricted income generation. This will include key activities, areas of required investment, KPIs and milestones as well as the projected growth of fundraising income
- Increase and diversify existing and new revenue streams specifically digital, CSR and private philanthropy.
- Drive delivery against income targets by setting clear, ambitious, and achievable operational targets for each income stream, ensuring teams are supported to meet objectives aligned with Muslim Aid’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Provide effective marketing leadership for the organisation in collaboration with key stakeholders and drive forward transformational integrated marketing activities and campaigns.
- Provide inspiring and motivating values-driven leadership to the team that enables them to deliver their goals and achieve their potential.
- Build on the areas of High Net Worth and CSR in regards to income generated from corporate, major donor and trusts so that these areas become part of our sustainable fundraising foundation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience across diverse fields of fundraising including individual, major and corporate funding and understanding of key fundraising markets.
- Ability to develop and expand digital fundraising.
- Ability to contribute to overall leadership and development of Organisation and bring MA’s fundraising, marketing communication and programme work closer together.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and promote the charity to various stakeholders.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury and neurodisability. Based at their 24-acre specialist centre in Tadworth, they provide national neurorehabilitation, medical care, and special education. Every year, 40,000 children in the UK sustain a brain injury; currently, they can only reach one in four of those needing severe rehabilitation. The Senior Trust Fundraising Manager is an important role for the charity, managing existing income from trusts and expanding income from new donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of High Value Philanthropy, you will lead a team to secure five- and six-figure gifts from grant-giving trusts and foundations
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects through proactive research and intelligent cultivation
- Write persuasive funding appeals and build strong propositions by collaborating with teams across the charity
- Line-manage and develop the Trusts & Philanthropy Executive, fostering a high-performing, motivated team culture
- Champion and create best practice in stewardship to then implement a stewardship plan

Person Specification:
- A strong track record of securing trust and foundation income worth at least 5 figures, and successful management of a high-value portfolio

Who are we looking for?
To support our vision and ensure the achievement of ambitious income targets to support children and families affected by neuroblastoma, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven high-value fundraiser to join our team.
We are particularly keen to speak with interested candidates who enjoy cultivating high-value relationships from scratch and stewarding five- and six-figure corporate partnerships, and/or major donor relationships.
Person specification:
- Demonstrable significant experience working in corporate fundraising (experience in major donor and trusts & foundations fundraising would also be of benefit).
- Strategic thinker with significant experience at a managerial level, developing strategic plans to grow and optimise high-value fundraising.
- A proven record of being results-driven and working to achieve income targets, KPIs and outcomes.
- Proven ability to proactively identify, cultivate and secure new corporate relationships, demonstrate strong new business development acumen and confidence opening new opportunities.
