THE ROLE

Job Title: Head of CRM

Reports To: Chief Executive

Location: Remote and hybrid working (occasional travel to SportsAid Head Office)

Salary: £60,000 per annum FTE; pro-rated to £36,000 per annum for 3 days/week

Contract: Permanent; part-time

Hours of work: Part-time position, approx. 21 working hours a week (3 days per week), some evening work may be required from time to time, reasonable flexible work options are available.

CONTEXT & PURPOSE OF ROLE

SportsAid is currently implementing Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud as our new organisation-wide CRM platform to strengthen engagement with athletes and their parents/care-givers, supporters and funders, partners, alumni, volunteers and other key stakeholders.  The Head of CRM will provide strategic and operational leadership for the charity’s CRM function.  

Initially the focus of the role will be to realise the value of the implementation, including adoption, embedding ways of working and processes across teams, improving data quality, refining reporting, ensuring good system governance and optimising organisation-wide usage. 

Longer term, the role will develop and lead a CRM roadmap, identifying priorities and enhancements for future development and planning the strategic evolution of our new CRM ecosystem and long-term sustainability of our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud platform.

You will lead organisational change, embed best practice CRM processes, ensure high-quality data governance and maximise the value of CRM insights to support fundraising, programme delivery, marketing, partnerships and impact reporting.

Founded in 1976, SportsAid is a national charity that provides recognition and financial help to emerging young talented sports people – the next generation of British sporting heroes and heroines – often at a crucial time in their personal and sporting development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 CRM Strategy & Leadership

• Champion CRM adoption across all function areas.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on CRM best practice.
• Lead continuous improvement and optimisation of the platform.
• Develop and deliver a multi-year CRM roadmap aligned to organisational strategy.
• Act as Product Owner for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.

 Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Implementation & Optimisation

• Lead final configuration, rollout and optimisation of:

• • Constituent management
  • Fundraising and donation management
  • Grants management
  • Beneficiary engagement
  • Programme and impact tracking

• Configure and manage:

• • Custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types
  • Validation rules and automation
  • Reports and dashboards
  • Permission sets and role hierarchy

• Oversee integrations (eg website forms, email marketing platforms, finance systems, payment gateways).
• Manage sandbox environments, release cycles and change control.
• Liaise with external Salesforce implementation partners where required.

 Data Governance & Compliance

• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with:

• • UK GDPR
  • Fundraising Regulator guidance
  • Charity Commission reporting requirements

• Maintain data integrity, security and role-based access controls.
• Implement duplicate management, data cleansing and quality assurance processes.
• Develop data retention and archival policies.

 Reporting, Insight & Impact Measurement

• Develop organisation-wide reporting frameworks.
• Build dashboards to support:

• • Fundraising performance
  • Beneficiary progression
  • Partner engagement
  • Impact reporting

• Ensure reliable KPI tracking aligned to Board reporting requirements.
• Support data-driven decision making at SMT and Board level.

 User Adoption & Training

• Develop and deliver a CRM training strategy for all staff.
• Create user guides, process documentation and onboarding materials.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Establish and support CRM ‘champions’ (super-users) across function teams.
• Monitor adoption metrics and address any resistance to change.

 Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Manage relationships with Salesforce partners and third-party vendors.
• Oversee licence management and budget control.
• Contribute to digital transformation projects across the charity.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 Experience

• Substantial experience of a similar role within a UK charity (essential).
• Experience with:

• • Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot)
  • Experience Cloud
  • Payment integrations (eg Stripe, FinDock)
  • Grants management workflows

• Experience managing small CRM or data teams.
• Understanding of impact measurement frameworks in sport or social change.

Salesforce & Technical Expertise

• Significant experience administering Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (or NPSP).
• Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201); ideally Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
• Strong understanding of:

• • Data model architecture
  • Schema design and object relationships
  • Flow automation (Salesforce Flow)
  • Validation rules and approval processes
  • Reports and dashboard development

• Familiarity with managing integrations using APIs, middleware or tools such as:

• • REST/SOAP APIs, Zapier or similar

• Experience in implementing and managing Salesforce Applications.
• Experience managing CRM data migrations.
• Understanding of role hierarchy, profiles and permission sets.

• Experience developing CRM strategies in a UK charity, membership or sport organisation.

• Demonstrable success improving CRM data quality and insight capability.

Team Domenica exists to help young people with learning disabilities build independent, fulfilling lives through sustained employment. Founded in 2016 by Baroness Rosa Monckton, the charity combines a Department for Education-recognised Specialist Further Education college, employment coaching and long-term employer support to achieve unrivalled outcomes for young people with learning  disabilities - around 80% of programme graduates move into paid work.

Over the last decade the organisation has supported more than 200 candidates and built a portfolio of social enterprises that provide genuine workplace training: Café Domenica and a coffee roastery. Are you an experienced arts manager with a good knowledge of the choral singing sector? We are looking for our new General Manager to work across finance, marketing, strategic and artistic direction, development, smooth daily operations, and responsible for safeguarding. You will be managing a small team of experienced staff and have the support of an active Chairman and Board of Trustees. 

The main duties and responsibilities for the General Manager role are as follows:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT
• Lead the small part time team, maintaining regular contact and guiding their
decision-making and activities

• First point of contact for any enquiries to the Foundation

STRATEGIC & ARTISTIC DIRECTION

• Review current strategic goals and develop 3-5 year plan with the Board for all
activities.
• Produce quarterly general management updates for the Trustees.

FINANCIAL
• Overseeing the bank account and payment platforms and updating all
payments in and out of the account via our accounting software, XERO.
• Paying invoices and keeping accurate records.
• Liaising with our accountants and providing information for the preparation of
annual accounts.
• Setting the annual budget and reviewing every quarter for Trustee meetings
• Setting the choral courses budget and Rodolfus Choir budget in collaboration
with the Courses Operations Manager and Choir Manager, for the annual
activities.
• Working with a member of the Board to discuss financial strategy.
• Collating gift aid claims for submission

MARKETING AND REPRESENTING THE ORGANISATION
• Develop and execute a vision and ‘story’ for the Foundation, both for marketing
and fundraising. (in collaboration with the Development Manager and
Communications Manager)
• Attend conferences and events to promote the Foundation as appropriate
• Look for opportunities to develop our activities
• Write and send Newsletters to our database of supporters at least monthly or
when required, liaising with the team for appropriate messages and content.
• Overseeing marketing including print/digital marketing assets for our activities

FUNDRAISING & DEVELOPMENT
• Supporting the Development Manager to develop applications to Trusts &
Foundations, including developing a case for funding as necessary.
• Supporting the Development Manager in their endeavours to develop
Individual Donors

SAFEGUARDING
• Working with our Trustee for Safeguarding, reviewing and updating all
safeguarding policies annually, briefing annual course staff on their
safeguarding responsibilities
• Dealing with any disclosures and keeping records.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the Foundation

GENERAL
• Attend Team and Board meetings as required
• Be a passionate advocate at all times for Rodolfus
• Adhere to all legal requirements relating to the General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR) as well as all other company policies and procedures
• Create a positive work environment, underpinned by the organisation’s values

Salary: £40,000 per annum.

Contractually this role is London-based.

Contract: Permanent.  Full time role - 35 hours per week.

Hospice UK is recruiting a Senior Corporate Development Executive to support and grow our commercial partnerships portfolio, working closely with the Corporate Development Manager and Corporate Development Executive.

This role will help to build relationships with over 80 businesses across all industries including healthcare, finance, insurance, digital, sustainability and more, generating more than £420k each year to support Hospice UK’s work.

The role

You will support all aspects of Hospice UK’s commercial partnership activity, helping to build, steward and develop long‑term relationships with corporate partners, who want to collaborate with hospices. This includes working directly with organisations to secure sponsorship, exhibition space and partnership opportunities. Personalised communications will help move businesses from one‑off activity to longer‑term strategic partnerships.

A key part of the role involves conferences and events. You’ll help secure exhibitors and sponsors for our annual National Conference (1,000+ attendees) and our one‑day conferences, supporting activity from launch through to delivery, including marketing materials, pipeline management, proactive sales and administration.

You’ll also support the Hospice UK Jobs Board, an income‑generating platform promoting careers in hospice and end of life care, contributing to sales and marketing activity, managing job postings and supporting performance analysis and development.

Purpose of the Job 
Supporting the step change in growth of the Statutory, Trusts and Foundations income stream.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with Manager and Senior Managers to manage portfolio through excellent stewardship

• Manage a portfolio of low-level trusts and foundations, with opportunity to progress to mid-level funders

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting 

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records using accounting software (currently Xero ) 

• Prepare clear and insightful monthly management accounts for the ED and Board of Trustees

• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with the ED and programme leads

• Strong working knowledge of charity accounting, fund accounting and the Charities SORP 

• Proven experience managing restricted and unrestricted grant funds 

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks or Sage) and Microsoft Excel

About the role

We’re looking for an Operations Team Leader with supervisory and process improvement experience to join our Income Operations Team. 

This role sits at the core of our income and fundraising operations, ensuring the systems and processes that underpin our supporters’ journeys are efficient, accurate and high‑quality. You’ll be responsible for keeping central income workflows running smoothly—from processing and reconciling income, to managing supporter data, Gift Aid compliance, fulfilment, and other essential activities that enable our fundraising teams to succeed and our supporters to have a great experience. 

You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement, helping identify challenges, shape solutions and embed better ways of working across the charity. As someone who champions best practice, compliance and operational excellence, you’ll support colleagues in understanding upcoming business requirements including the implementation of D365 as our new CRM. 

People leadership is also central to the role. You’ll share responsibility for managing and developing the Operations team, supporting their daily workflow, training and professional growth. With regular collaboration across teams and stakeholders, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our systems, processes and controls remain robust, fit for purpose and capable of supporting the charity’s mission.

What will I be doing?
