About our Charity
South Cotswolds Foodbank supports people across more than 210 square miles, providing emergency food and compassion while working towards long‑term solutions to the root causes of poverty. We are now seeking a Fundraising & Community Relations Manager to help us build the resources, relationships and community awareness we need to meet rising demand and to drive our mission forward.
Location
This role is based at our Cirencester office, with opportunities for some home working. The post will involve some local travel across the South Cotswolds to meet supporters, partners, and community groups.
Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our small, friendly staff team, you will lead the development of fundraising from individuals, businesses, trusts and foundations, and community groups. You will identify new funding opportunities, craft compelling bids, and nurture long‑term partnerships that help sustain our annual running costs and strengthen our future resilience.
You will also take a leading role in shaping how we share our story. Working closely with the Head of Foodbank and colleagues, you will create marketing materials, digital and print content, fundraising campaigns, and communications that bring our mission and our clients’ experiences to life. This includes producing newsletters, fundraising appeals, social media content, and materials for events and outreach activities.
A central part of this role is inspiring and stewarding supporters, whether that’s someone making a one‑off donation, a local business exploring a partnership, or a trust considering a grant application. You’ll design ways to keep supporters engaged, informed and appreciated, ensuring communications reflect our values and priorities and are consistent with our brand and tone.
You will represent the Foodbank at community events across the region, building relationships with schools, churches, associations, local groups and businesses. This outward‑facing work helps raise awareness of the causes of food poverty, increases support, and strengthens our reach into communities who want to take action. You’ll also coordinate volunteers who contribute to these events.
Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help capture stories and case studies from people with lived experience of food poverty (with sensitivity and respect) to illustrate the realities facing local families and to strengthen our fundraising, communications, and advocacy work. You will maintain our CRM system, ensuring accurate donor and engagement data, and produce regular reports for monitoring and oversight.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Identification and cultivation:
Producing lists of prospects to share with the Development Board, via the Director of Development.
Identifying opportunities for cultivation at projects, events and concerts.
Application development:
Responsibility for developing small to mid-range Trust, Foundation and statutory applications up to £25,000 including copy development, application budget creation (using signed-off source budgets), and sign-offs from project manager and line manager.
Maintaining a strong momentum of application submissions, aiming to fundraise a year ahead of project delivery where possible.
Collaborating with Development colleagues to agree stewarding responsibilities, review prospects, report on Trust & Foundation income vs. targets and identify prospects whose giving objectives align with the Philharmonia’s work.
Working closely with colleagues in the Learning & Engagement, Concerts and Marketing departments to build strong, collaborative working relationships in order to source project information to support the development of funding bids.
Stewarding
Ensuring timely report development and submission, to maximise re-application rates.
Ownership of accurate and comprehensive Trust, Foundation and Statutory accreditation in all collateral and online.
Proactive and consistent conduit between prospects and the Philharmonia, managing invitations to supported projects and ensuring consistent, warm and professional relationship management.
2 Ensuring efficient administration of Trusts and Foundations fundraising, including:
Managing all Trusts and Foundations pledges and grants on our CRM Tessitura, and ensuring data capture and processing is in line with GDPR and other privacy laws.
Population and updating of Trusts and Foundations submissions, stewarding and reporting tracker.
Accurate records of all correspondence held in SharePoint.
Other tasks include
Representing the Philharmonia externally when required.
Undertaking any other duties reasonably required by the Philharmonia.

Key Tasks & Activities
Implementing and further developing Humanists UK’s grants, trusts, and foundations fundraising strategy, with key tasks including:
Researching new funding prospects
Maintaining and growing our funding pipeline.
Supporting colleagues across the organisation to develop, bid for, and report on appropriate projects for funding
Writing clear and compelling funding bids, proposals, and appeals, and produce timely, high-quality reports for funders
Maintaining accurate records of applications, reporting schedules, project milestones, and grant income using the charity’s CRM system.
Working with the finance team to make sure grants are administered efficiently and all income is accurately recorded
Monitoring progress against targets, providing regular updates and income reports to the Head of Fundraising
Supporting continuous improvement by maintaining effective systems for tracking and evaluating trust fundraising activity
Keeping informed about developments and sector trends in fundraising

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trust & Statutory Fundraising Manager to join the existing Development team. Reporting to the Head of Development.
We are at an exciting time in our history, and this is a chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of our multi million-pound masterplan and engagement programmes. We are looking for a enthusiastic and dedicated fundraiser to deliver an ambitious trust and statutory fundraising strategy (capital and revenue).

The Royal Armouries is the United Kingdom’s national museum of arms and armour and one of the most important collections of its type in the world, housed at its headquarters and flagship museum in Leeds, its historic home at the Tower of London, and the Victorian Fort Nelson in Hampshire.
Hours: This position is a permanent contract, working full time, 36 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Weekend, Bank Holiday and evening working will occasionally be required, as will some travel.
The role will be predominantly Leeds office based with an option for some hybrid working as well as at the other RA sites.

When young people in care turn 18, all the support they’ve relied on can fall away, literally overnight. Suddenly, they have to navigate adulthood on their own. This would be tough for any teenager, even if they could fall back on their family for help. So it’s not surprising that two out of three care-experienced young people feel unprepared to leave care. Too many still don’t get the support they need to make it safely past this cliff edge.
Care leavers aged 18-21 are nine times more likely to experience homelessness than their peers.
Settle exists to change this. We’re an award-winning charity, supporting care-experienced young people as they move into their first home, so they can confidently transition into independent living, avoid eviction and homelessness, and establish the foundations they need to thrive in adulthood. We are on a mission to end homelessness among care-experienced young people.
With our current Head of Fundraising leaving us to go travelling, we’re seeking someone new to help us achieve this ambition. You’ll have a lot to build on. Over the last three years, we’ve grown our income dramatically, and diversified our funder portfolio. We have strong relationships with our committed and supportive funders, underpinned by an organisation-wide commitment to fundraising.
This is a crucial role for Settle, and you’ll have the support you need to excel. In 2025, we grew our fundraising team from one (this post) to three. You’ll take on the leadership of an engaged and enthusiastic team, increasingly responsible for day-to-day management of trust and foundation fundraising. As well as inspiring the team to great things, you’ll have the opportunity to develop and deepen our relationships with philanthropists and high net worth individuals. Hours: The hours are full-time (35 hours per week) preferred, with attendance at funder events outside core hours as needed from time to time – part-time will be considered for the right candidate but we envisage at least 0.8FTE / 28 hours per week
Location: Hybrid working between our office in London Bridge and working from home – our standard expectation is at least 2 days a week of contact time (in the office, funder meetings or events). We have a monthly in person team meeting on a Wednesday, and hold our monthly SLT meetings in person on a Tuesday.
