The ISM is now looking for an experienced and talented Senior Communications Officer to join our team, reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding writer and communications professional to help raise the profile of the ISM, promote the value of membership and engage professional musicians through high-quality content and campaigns.
You will lead on the planning, writing, editing and publication of content across a wide range of channels, including the ISM website, newsletters, publications, marketing materials and external media. You will be responsible for developing compelling and persuasive content that supports membership growth, strengthens the ISM brand and communicates the organisation's work effectively to members and the wider music sector.
You will also play a key role in managing the ISM's content strategy and SEO activity, working closely with the Website and Marketing Manager to improve content performance, increase visibility and attract new audiences through search. This will include content planning, keyword research, link-building activity and reporting on performance and engagement.
Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will identify opportunities to showcase the work of the ISM Group, including its campaigns, events, resources, legal services and thought leadership. You will also work closely with the Chief Executive on the production of Music Journal, secure profile-raising opportunities for senior representatives and support the development of speeches, presentations and briefing materials.
You will have significant experience in a communications, content, copywriting or marketing role and be able to demonstrate exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills. You will have experience of producing engaging content for a variety of audiences and channels, alongside a strong understanding of content marketing, brand management and SEO best practice. If possible, you should have a music background.

World Cancer Research Fund champions the latest and most authoritative scientific research from around the world on cancer prevention and survival through diet, weight and physical activity, so that we can empower people to make informed lifestyle choices to reduce their cancer risk.
We are seeking an inspiring, strategic and collaborative leader to shape and deliver WCRF’s Health Information and Support strategy across three core audiences: the general public, health professionals and cancer survivors. The team turns WCRF’s scientific evidence on cancer prevention and survival into practical, accessible information, training and support based on our Cancer Prevention Recommendations. The postholder will lead and develop the team, ensuring its work is innovative, evidence-based, high quality and demonstrably effective.
Working across Science, Policy, Fundraising, Communications and Engagement, you will create new ways to share our health information, improve existing resources and services, and build impactful partnerships. You will ensure that public and patient insight shapes our work from cancer prevention to survivorship, strengthen programmes for health professionals and make effective use of digital channels. Responsibilities include contributing to our Medical Education programme, participating in working and steering groups and speaking at national conferences, networking at events, engaging corporate audiences and acting as a spokesperson in broadcast and print media. Ultimately, you will help establish WCRF as the go-to source of information and support on the links between cancer, nutrition and lifestyle.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of implementing strategy, developing business and operational plans, and leading high-performing teams.
You will bring substantial experience in areas such as health information or education, working with healthcare professionals, UK health policy, health science or research, or marketing health information and services. You will be confident in measuring impact, managing budgets and using data to improve performance, with strong knowledge of non-communicable diseases and issues including nutrition, obesity, diet and physical activity. An excellent communicator and relationship-builder, you will be proactive, creative and results-focused, able to operate at senior management level and open to using digital, AI and other emerging tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

- Experience of improving data governance, data quality and data management practices across teams, with a clear understanding of responsible data use and data privacy regulations (eg GDPR).

The Head of Public Fundraising is a new role at Coeliac UK leading the charity’s public fundraising function. The role focusses on driving sustainable growth across individual giving, community fundraising, events, lottery, raffle, digital fundraising and merchandise. This role is responsible for delivering Coeliac UK’s 5-year fundraising strategy to maximise return-on-investment, grow long term supporter value, and contribute to the charity’s mission.
The Head of Public Fundraising will embed and deliver comprehensive fundraising strategies, growing Coeliac UK’s supporter base and income, building up new and under-developed income streams and communicating effectively with their audiences to expand their reach, and encourage financial and non-financial support to deliver the organisations mission.
Who are we looking for?
Key to the success of this role is a strong understanding of individual giving fundraising. This role blends the strategic oversight and leadership of a Head of role across multiple income streams, with the hands-on expertise of an IG fundraiser. Experience across other income streams and areas of fundraising delivery would be a huge benefit as the role leads community fundraising and events, will take on digital fundraising - currently led by the Chief Engagement Officer, as well as manage the data and supporter care functions, but experience in individual giving is essential as Coeliac UK has defined that as an area of priority income. 3. Resident communications
Working closely with colleagues in Resident Services to:
- Develop and maintain website and resident portal content
- Create accessible communications for residents using a range of channels
- Support resident meetings, engagement activities and events
- Deliver information campaigns across our communities
- Ensuring communications are inclusive, accessible and easy to understand
4. Colleague communications
Working across the Charity to deliver effective internal communications, including:
- SharePoint intranet content
- CEO updates and leadership communications
- Quarterly College Conversations staff briefings
- Organisational announcements

- Support HR with colleague engagement initiatives
- Working closely with the Records Management Lead to promote good information-sharing and best practice in document management

You are an experienced and confident communications professional who combines strong writing skills with the ability to build relationships, influence colleagues and create effective ways of working. You enjoy understanding complex organisations, finding the stories that matter and turning complex information into clear, engaging communications.
You are organised, proactive and confident working with people across all levels of an organisation. You will bring a collaborative approach, helping colleagues communicate more effectively while ensuring communications are planned, consistent and aligned with Morden College’s values and priorities.
Essential criteria
- Experience working in a communications role, particularly internal communications, colleague engagement or organisational communications
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience creating engaging communications across a range of channels and audiences
- Experience developing communication plans and coordinating communications activity
- Experience managing websites, newsletters, intranets or other communication platforms
- Ability to understand complex information and translate it into clear, accessible and engaging messages
- Experience building effective relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Understanding of inclusive and accessible communication practices

Main purposes of the job:
Sound Minds is recruiting a Head of Operations to join our team in Wandsworth.
The Head of Operations is a member of the senior leadership team at Sound Minds and leads the management and day-to-day operations of a vibrant community premises.
Sound Minds is in a period of review and consolidation, following growth of its programmes and having secured Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation status. The Head of Operations will further develop and implement robust systems to support this growth and the charity’s future aims.
The role leads on all operational, health and safety, premises, IT, systems, human resources, evaluation, and reporting activity. The Head of Operations manages the delivery of Sound Minds’ Peer Support service and will act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. They deputise for the CEO as required.
They will assist the CEO on maintaining key relationships with external stakeholders and external communications.
Sound Minds is a creative place, and the Head of Operations will need a passion for organisation and administration.
Salary: £42,833 per annum(pro rata) & 3% contribution to pension
Hours: 28 hours per week
This fixed term contract ends on 16th June 2030 and is renewable depending on funding.
Strong IT skills are essential for this role. You will be required to have a DBS (criminal records check) and satisfactory written references before starting.
