At Pilgrims Hospices, clinical volunteers are a vital part of how we care for patients and families. Working alongside our clinical teams, they support everything from ward-based care to therapy services, bereavement groups and community programmes. Their time, compassion and presence help shape the experience of care in very real and meaningful ways.
We are now looking for a Clinical Volunteer Lead to provide leadership to this work across our services.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a large and diverse group of clinical volunteers, working across inpatient, therapy, psychosocial and community settings. You will ensure volunteers are well supported, appropriately trained and able to make a meaningful contribution, while working closely with clinical teams to maintain a consistent and effective approach across the organisation.
This is not a desk-based role. It is a visible, hands-on leadership position, working alongside teams and volunteers in practice, building relationships, supporting people day to day and understanding what is happening across services.

About the role:
Join us at Single Homeless Project (SHP) as part of our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS), delivering accommodation-based support across our properties in Brockley and New Cross. This is hands-on, day-to-day work alongside people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage, where no two days are the same. You’ll build real relationships with clients, supporting them to stabilise, develop life skills and move towards greater independence, while navigating the challenges that can come with housing, health and wider support needs.
As a Project Worker, you’ll be at the centre of the service; working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to coordinate support that genuinely moves people forward. Alongside your client work, you’ll play a key role in keeping the service running safely and smoothly, from maintaining a secure, welcoming environment to staying on top of health and fire safety standards across the properties.

About The Role
The Senior Safeguarding Officer plays a vital role in strengthening safeguarding practice across Place2Be, a leading children’s mental health charity. Working closely with the Head and Deputy Head of Safeguarding, you will help ensure the organisation meets its safeguarding responsibilities for children and vulnerable adults by enhancing training, embedding robust policies, and improving systems and practice across staff, volunteers, and partner schools.
This hands-on and collaborative role combines operational safeguarding oversight, training delivery, and service development, offering the opportunity to influence organisational practice, support multi-agency working, and contribute to better outcomes for children and young people.

The Handyperson Job booker is a pivotal and busy role in the team receiving incoming referrals from a range of sources and scheduling these daily tasks to team members according to the needs of the service. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced and motivated HIV Peer Support Advice Worker to provide onsite social welfare advice and support to people living with HIV across South London hospital HIV services. This 28-hour per week fixed-term role will be based in a clinical settings on a rota basis and focus on supporting people who are newly diagnosed through Emergency Department opt-out testing, those returning to HIV care, and people who may need additional help to engage with treatment and manage the wider factors affecting their health and wellbeing.
