An established professional membership organisation is looking for a Senior Services Coordinator to support the delivery and development of a portfolio of member services. This role offers the opportunity to combine service management, stakeholder engagement and business development while leading a small team of two.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement of  3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Services, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of a portfolio of services provided to members and partner organisations, ensuring they operate efficiently, deliver value and continue to evolve to meet member needs. You will also support the development of new services and partnerships that generate income and enhance the organisation’s offering.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of a portfolio of membership services and programmes.
• Lead and support a small team, overseeing performance, workload and development.
• Monitor service performance, risks and compliance, ensuring appropriate processes and controls are in place.
• Investigate and respond to service-related enquiries or complaints.
• Conduct research to understand member needs and identify opportunities to improve services.
• Support the development of new products, services and partnerships.
• Assist with projects to implement new services, working with internal teams such as IT, finance and project management.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, members and external partners.

You will be an organised and proactive professional with strong administration, customer service and stakeholder management skills. You will enjoy improving services, identifying opportunities and working collaboratively across teams.

Experience working within membership organisations, professional bodies or regulated environments would be beneficial but is not essential.

You should have:

• Significant experience and a proven track record of event planning, coordination and delivery to an exceptionally high standard, within the non-profit sector.

• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Trusts, in a lovely team of three. You will play a lead role and help the team raise their income target of c£1.7m income from a range of Trusts and Foundations.

This role will develop and maintain relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory funders through updates and other bespoke communications in order to maximise income.

You will develop compelling funding applications aimed at grants above £30k to secure five- and six-figure gifts in support of the charites vision and mission.

Monitor and report progress towards income targets and other agreed KPIs.

The Candidate

• You will need a strong track record of securing five and ideally six figure gifts, including warming up cold Trust relationships to secure income.
• Experience of maintaining relationships with funders and designing and implementing tailored donor care and stewardship plans.
• Experience of researching new prospects and of developing pipelines of activity.
• Experience of producing budgets suitable for five- and six- figure funding requests.
• Experience of cultivating prospects, initiating conversations and planning and hosting service visits with donors.
• Experience of working with Senior Managers/Directors and committee members.
• A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

We are looking for a Housing Night Worker to join our teams across Lansworth House and Gareth Stacey House, working flexibly between both sites to ensure young people are safe.

You will respond promptly to any reported incidents, accidents, or concerns, carrying out thorough checks and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will also take a proactive approach to preventing anti‑social behaviour, working closely with support staff to maintain a positive environment. In addition, you will carry out one‑to‑one interventions with young people who may be experiencing a mental health crisis or who require medical assistance, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate support.

You will provide Early Help Support for Adults facing multiple disadvantages via the ‘Bringing Service Together for People in Places’ (BST PiP) programme for Manchester and the national Changing Futures programme.  Your role will be to work directly with adults liaising with linked agencies and services in the community to improve outcomes. You will need a collaborative, trauma-responsive and person-centred approach to achieve this.  You will identify blocks and barriers within existing systems and find solutions to make wider and transformational change locally. We put the involvement of people with lived experience of multiple disadvantages at the heart of delivering this service and in co-production of future delivery.

About you

You will need experience of delivering frontline services, supporting adults from diverse backgrounds with multiple and complex needs and/or multiple disadvantages. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of Manchester based services and community assets, be able to represent Shelter externally and have an appreciation of the barriers and personal difficulties faced by people accessing local services. Proactive, creative, and collaborative in your approach, you will have great relationship building skills, a flair for leading change and the confidence to challenge the status quo.  You will also have demonstrable experience of working with volunteers and co-production to make decisions.

About the team

The team will be made up of six Navigators based across the City of Manchester, as well as a Peer Coordinator and Peer Mentors. You will hold your own caseload, supported by the Team Leader.  You will work alongside Navigators who are based within partner organisations at the Big Life Group and Back on Track, as well as a team of peer volunteers. •    Develop end to end market research projects including research frameworks, questionnaires and facilitation materials.
•    Analyse data to provide a comprehensive and accurate response to support change and growth within the organisation.
•    Manage external market research agencies and suppliers from contracting through to delivery.

The Candidate:
•    Experience in using qualitative and quantitative methodologies to deliver and support on market research projects.
•    Strong stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to understand the needs of stakeholders and challenge appropriately.
•    Experience designing research materials including questionnaires and discussion guides.
•    Knowledge of analytical techniques with the ability to interpret and translate data into clear insight.
•    Strong collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to shape market research plans.
•    Experience using survey software tools for survey creation to reporting.

About this exciting opportunity

Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison.  You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.  Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Prospect Development Officer to join our highly successful prospect development team, working in partnership with our fundraising team to manage their prospect pools and portfolios. You will provide insight and advice on donors, trusts, foundations, corporations, and other organizations, collating and reviewing data and writing concise and informative reports for the fundraising team and senior stakeholders within the University. As an Employment Coach, you will manage a caseload of participants aged 18-24 years old, and provide them with 1:1 support, helping them overcome barriers to employment and training. Within this role you will be required to source new referrals who are predominantly economically inactive; complete the enrolment paperwork, including development plans and eligibility checks.
