The postholder will support the Prevention Coordinator to ensure events are delivered safely and effectively.

Working closely with SPEAR's Homeless Health Link Team, they will support colleagues with client-facing work and carry a caseload of clients requiring homelessness prevention support.

About the role
This is a fixed term role with a clear mission, created specifically to support Crisis’ CRM Transformation programme. We are migrating to a new CRM system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, underpinned by a Modern Data Platform, and the next nine to twelve months are critical as the new platform enters live operation. As Interim Business Systems Manager you will sit at the centre of this transition, collaborating with product owners, developers, suppliers and business stakeholders to make the handover from programme delivery to business-as-usual a success, equipping Crisis with impactful, sustainable systems for fundraising and engagement in support of our mission to end homelessness.

You will also lead key transition deliverables, including the rebuild of Apteco FastStats so that marketing delivery remains robust and well-governed, and provide governance, oversight and transition planning for our Christmas systems cycle.
This role exists to support a defined period of transformation; it is offered on a fixed term basis, and decisions about how the team is shaped beyond the transition will be made as the programme concludes. Role: Caseworker (Information and Advice)
Hours: 28 hours per week (flexibility around working pattern)
Salary: £30,282 - £32,445 (pro rata, per annum)
Location: Hybrid
Start Date: 1 September 2026 or as soon as possible there after
Contract Type: Fixed term until 31 Jan 2027, with potential of extension dependent upon funding.

About the Role
This role sits within our Information and Advice team and is key to the smooth running of our Information and Advice service. This role will provide casework support relating to Adult Social Care, Housing, and Welfare Benefits to Disabled Merton Residents.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. To manage a varied caseload, providing accessible and quality information, advice, guidance and representation to Disabled people in Merton.
2. To support Disabled people in Merton with Adult Social Care including but not limited to Care Act assessments, reviews and reassessments, including Financial Assessments.
3. To support Disabled people in Merton with Housing including getting on to and improving positions on the housing register, aids and adaptions and Disabled Facilities Grants.
4. To support Disabled people in Merton with Welfare Benefits including but not limited to applications, assessments, appeals and tribunal representation.
5. To support quality assurance processes to maintain the Advice Quality Standard including ensuring case notes are updated in-line with frameworks, carrying out peer file review and taking part in supervision sessions.
6. Where appropriate, refer Disabled people to other services in line with our policies, including other Merton CIL services.
7. To research and remain informed of new legislation or policy changes that impact casework.
8. To collaborate with the Policy and Campaigns Team to push for systems change.
9. To understand safeguarding procedures and raise concerns with support from the safeguarding lead.
10. To work within the Social Model of Disability and ensure that it is understood by our members, service users, staff, local authority, and partners.
11. To carry out the duties of the post in line with our Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Policy, and adhere to all Merton CIL’s policies and guidelines, including our values.
12. To undertake such duties and attend out-of-hours and/or weekend events when reasonably be required.

About the role
As a Mid-Weight Designer, you will play an important role within the Creative Studio, supporting the delivery of high-quality design across campaigns, fundraising, and wider communications to help end homelessness.
You will use your design skills to produce effective and engaging creative across digital, print and social. You will also support the development of creative approaches to briefs, contributing ideas where appropriate while ensuring all work is consistent, accessible, and aligned with our brand.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will deliver projects from brief through to final output, managing multiple priorities and always maintaining a high standard of execution.
About you
You are a skilled and reliable designer with experience delivering high-quality work across a range of formats. You have a strong eye for detail and take pride in maintaining high creative standards in everything you produce.
You are organised and able to manage your time effectively, working across multiple projects and deadlines. You are comfortable collaborating with others, open to feedback, and able to respond to briefs in a clear and thoughtful way.
