The National Safeguarding Panel (NSP) is seeking to appoint TWO representatives from a survivor's organisation that works with individuals affected by faith-based abuse to join its independent scrutiny and advisory body.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding work of the Church of England by offering strategic insight, scrutiny, and challenge from the perspective of survivors. The NSP plays a vital role in shaping safeguarding policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of victims and survivors are heard and meaningfully integrated into decision-making.
Role Expectation
Time Commitment: Approx. 6-8 meetings per year, plus preparation
Term: 3 years, renewable for 2 years
Location: Meetings held in London and across dioceses (hybrid attendance available)
Remuneration and Expenses
A fee of £25 per hour will be paid for attendance at meetings, along with reimbursement for travel expenses. Members are expected to attend six meetings per year and undertake one hour of reading in preparation for each panel meeting. Additional reasonable expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with the Church of England's NCI expenses policy, subject to approval by the Chair.

The service provides support across the whole geography of Avon & Somerset. This role involves making initial contact with victims of domestic abuse and other crimes, providing support in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. The role is full-time and is hybrid between Bridewell Police Station in central Bristol and home working. A suitable and confidential workspace at home is therefore required. Whilst in training and awaiting police vetting the successful candidate will be required to work their office days at the Vassall Centre (Fishponds, Bristol). There will also be a requirement to occasionally work from the Vassall Centre once vetting has cleared.

East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. The Women’s Caseworker provides proactive short-term support and casework to female victim-survivors of sexual violence. The role
You will provide high-quality legal advice and representation at IAA Level 2/3 or Solicitor standard. Your diverse casework will range from assisting sponsored workers on high-risk visas, to managing complex human rights cases and supporting victims of modern slavery and trafficking. About this role
The Finance Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Head of Finance to maintain the organisation’s financial health, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of day-to-day finance operations.
The Finance Assistant will be line managed by the Head of Finance. They will also work closely with the Finance Officer, Chief Executive Officer, The Fundraising Team, notably the Database and Insight Officer, as well as the wider casework team, Fellows and consultants. They will lead on paying Fellows, consultants and other contractors, as well as suppliers.
They will support the reconciliation of Reprieve’s financial accounts and ensure that transactions recorded in Iplicit are accurately reflected in other organisational systems, investigating and resolving any discrepancies as required.
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with a proactive and collaborative approach. You will be committed to Reprieve’s goals, highly organised and able to manage competing priorities while delivering accurate work to tight deadlines. You will be comfortable working with financial data, using systems such as Iplicit and Excel, and translating complex information into clear, practical messages for colleagues across the organisation. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to undertake routine tasks that support the effective running of the finance function. A relevant accountancy qualification would be an advantage, but we welcome applications from candidates with equivalent experience.
Terms
This is a full-time role on a 12-month fixed term contract. The salary is £32,696, per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Job Purpose: To lead the Oasis Community Housing Domestic Abuse Team in Gateshead; providing accessible, community-based, trauma-informed support for women and girls aged 16 and over experiencing domestic abuse. The service operates from a women’s only space, and provides both one to one and group support interventions, including peer support. The Project Team Leader will hold responsibility for line management of the Service Team, for Safeguarding, Health and Safety, the delivery of holistic support provision to those in receipt of the support service, and monitoring and oversight of the provision. • To ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to in your practices, and the practices of the team, and that concerns are reported appropriately and expediently, both internally, and externally, as needed.
• To hold responsibility for implementing Safeguarding policies and procedures across the service; making day to day safeguarding referrals, on-going case management, and reporting, in conjunction with the relevant Safeguarding Leads.
• To maintain records needed to ensure excellent and consistent support provision, and support the staff team to meet those same standards; maintaining comprehensive case files, using our Inform data system, completing reports (both internal and external) and assisting in the measurement of outcomes.
• To be accountable to senior management for project performance, providing regular reports including performance reports and management reports.
• To support the active participation of those being supported in project design, delivery and evaluation; encouraging involvement, and assisting in recording access and engagement; ensuring all participants have the opportunity to engage in social activities and peer support.
• To lead on the planning and delivery of the Own My Life group work course, structured around the following core themes: Own My Mind, Own My Body, Own My Choices, Own My Relationships, Own My World and Own My Feelings.
• To ensure confidentiality of personal data held in the care of the organisation and project staff, as specified in the Data Protection Act 1998 (GDPR 2018) and Oasis Community Housing policies and procedures.
• To work in close partnership with colleagues from Gateshead Council and other partner agencies; professionally representing Oasis Community Housing and the individuals we support.
• To receive and respond to complaints in the first instance.
• To support the Head of Young Person’s Accommodation and Domestic Abuse Service in preparing for audits, reviews and inspections as required by partners, funders and stakeholders.
• To attend regular supervision sessions with your line manager.
• To attend relevant training sessions as required by the role / your line manager.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

Personal Specification/Key Competencies:
Qualifications:
• Relevant Level 3 qualification (Essential) e.g. Domestic Abuse Practitioner Standard (DAPS) Level 3 or OCNLR Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Abuse: Prevention and Early Intervention
Work Experience:
• Experience as Domestic Abuse Support Worker; including needs and risk assessment, delivery of holistic support, health and safety, working closely with partner agencies to provide support (Essential)
• Experience managing staff or volunteers (Essential)
• Experience working in the safeguarding arena (Essential)
• Experience working with women fleeing domestic abuse (Essential)
• Experience in using person centred support plans, and DASF RIC assessments (Essential)
• Experience participating in MDT meetings (Essential)
Skills, Knowledge & Aptitude:
• Excellent organisational skills, including time management and prioritisation (Essential)
• Ability to manage a heavy and varied workload in a demanding and challenging environment (Essential)
