The Role

Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland (VCUKI) and Vineyard Global are looking for a dedicated Head of Fundraising to join our team and help us expand our impact through effective fundraising initiatives.

This is a remote position for someone based in the UK, with the expectation to work at a VCUKI office two days a month. The role is full-time and reports to the VCUKI National Coordinator.

This is a new position that offers an exciting opportunity to grow, develop, and shape the fundraising strategy for our national movement. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy aimed at securing donations from major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporations.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland as well as Vineyard Global. They will work with movement leaders and Vineyard staff to maximise fundraising opportunities and establish long-term relationships with donors. The candidate should be a starter finisher as this is a new area of development for both VCUKI and Vineyard Global, and over time, it is anticipated that the post-holder will build a team to assist with key aspects of the role. We are looking for a graduate with a proven track record in fundraising within the nonprofit sector, especially someone who has successfully secured large donations and grants. The Berkshire and Hampshire Borders (BHB) Methodist Circuit is a network of twenty-five churches across western Berkshire and northern Hampshire, united by a vision to proclaim God's love as a justice-seeking community. As Operations Manager, you'll be the backbone supporting our work. The Role
You'll provide operational guidance and support to the Circuit Leadership Team and Circuit Meeting (Trustees), attending meetings and preparing reports on governance matters. About this role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Community Fundraiser (Donor Relationship) to join the Charity team here at Alder Hey, the UK’s busiest Children’s Hospital.

The Community Fundraiser (Donor Relationship) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional supporter experience for all community and event fundraisers. This role focuses on building strong, meaningful, and long‑lasting relationships with individuals, groups, and volunteers who raise funds, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and inspired to continue their journey with the charity. The postholder will lead on thanking, recognition, supporter journeys, and stewardship-led initiatives that deepen engagement across all levels of community fundraising.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship

• Create tailored donor journeys for all community and event supporters,
  ensuring timely touchpoints, personalised engagement, and clear pathways for
  deeper involvement.
• Develop and implement a reward and recognition process that celebrates
  supporter milestones, achievements, and loyalty, using insight‑driven methods
  to nurture long-term commitment.

• Lead and develop a new thanking process for community and event supporters,
  ensuring gratitude is timely, meaningful, and impactful across all channels.
• Develop an SMS journey for community and event supporters that enhances
  engagement, provides real-time updates, and complements wider stewardship

Supporter Journeys & Stewardship:

• Work collaboratively with the Marketing & Communications team to source
  case studies, patient stories, and supporter testimonials that demonstrate
  impact and bring fundraising stories to life.

• Work with marketing on monthly newsletters, contributing stewardship-led
  content, supporter spotlights, and updates aligned with community fundraising
  priorities

Events & Recognition:

• Lead on the planning and delivery of the annual community awards event,
  celebrating supporter achievements and strengthening the charity’s
  relationship with grassroots fundraisers.

• Ensure the event reflects supporter diversity, contribution levels, and the
  organisation’s values.

Data & Insights:

• Maintain accurate, timely and GDPR‑compliant supporter records to ensure
  excellent stewardship and meaningful reporting

• Use insight and supporter feedback to continually refine journeys,
  communications, and stewardship approaches

Overall job purpose

The Site Coordinator will be solely responsible for delivering events at this stunning Grade I listed church. From the initial enquiry through to final delivery, they will oversee the planning and coordination of third-party hires, ensuring every detail is handled with care and precision while providing seamless and functional hires of this wonderful historical building. Working alone, the Site Coordinator will ensure there is continued access to the building for community groups and hirers, whilst overseeing all aspects of the day to day administration of the venue; This includes site operations, record keeping, event management, hire marketing and site presentation.
