Role Requirements
Minimum age 21 or Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) holder for Insurance purposes.
- Responsible for the collection and delivery of donated goods to the required location within agreed timescales and to agreed targets.
- To provide delivery and collection service to external stock generation sites through Donation Stations.
- To undertake bag drops and collections as required.
- To maintain strict control of security of all goods collected, transported and delivered.
- To ensure minimum losses are incurred on goods and furniture by the careful and respectful handling of all such items.
- Role will involve a large amount of heavy lifting in picking up and moving stock including furniture.
- To support maintenance of multi-site storage of stock belonging to The Children’s Trust
- Transportation of rubbish and unwanted items to recycling centre or refuse site as appropriate.
- To ensure customer care and quality of service.
- To act as the representative of The Children’s Trust in the collection from and delivery to customers of donated goods and furniture.
- To liaise with shop managers over the movement of stock between shops as directed by the Retail Operations Manager.
- Training of Volunteer Van/Driver Assistants where necessary
- Provide all relevant training and development to the Volunteer

Women in Prison (WIP) supports women affected by the criminal justice system and campaigns to end the harm it causes.
This is a new role which has been created to provide the vision and direction for our programming and systems change work as we embed our 2025-2030 strategy. Our ambition is to offer women in prisons and the community, impactful direct support that is more independent of government demands and funding, and with a new and deeper partnership model.
Our strategy also challenges us to mobilise women, drive women-led influencing and campaigning and co-design programmes with women with experience of the justice system. Citadel is a volunteer-powered homelessness prevention project supporting people experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness to settle into a home, sustain their tenancy, and feel part of a supportive community.

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. Over many years of working alongside people recently granted refugee status, we have seen how the moment of transition, when someone leaves asylum accommodation and tries to find a home of their own, can significantly impact the opportunity to build a stable life. Too often, people face this period with little support, or relying on friends, volunteers and organisations who want to help but aren't always sure how, especially in such a rapidly changing environment. This role exists to change that.
Through our Refugee Homelessness Prevention Project we want to build on the learning and experience we’ve gained over the last 20 years and increase our impact in local communities across Greater Manchester. We are therefore looking for an experienced trainer who is proactive, well‑organised and able to build strong relationships in local communities.
This is a varied and community‑focused role, suitable for someone who is comfortable facilitating training, enjoys meeting people in a range of settings and is keen to help others feel confident in offering housing‑related guidance.
In accordance with the Christian ethos and values of Boaz Trust, the Housing Access Training and Development Officer is responsible for developing and delivering a training and resources programme that builds the capacity of organisations and communities across Greater Manchester to support people recently granted refugee status in accessing private rented accommodation.
The post holder will:
- develop and deliver practical, accessible training for a range of audiences which could include faith communities, VCSE organisations and mainstream homelessness services

Dataro are looking for a Partnerships & Marketing UK Manager to help grow their presence across the UK charity sector. This is a varied role that combines partnership development with hands-on marketing and events delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning ideas into action.
Around 70% of the role will focus on partnerships and new business growth; identifying and developing collaborations that build pipeline and raise Dataro’s profile across the UK. The remaining 30% will focus on delivering marketing activity and events on the ground, from conferences and webinars to partner activations and community engagement.
You’ll work closely with Dataro’s global marketing and partnerships team, with access to the tools, systems and support needed to make things happen. While the role sits within a global team, this position will play a key part in shaping and delivering activity specifically for the UK charity market.

You might currently be working in corporate partnerships, marketing, partnerships, data, or events within a UK charity, or in a technology or service provider that works with the nonprofit sector.
