This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining hands-on financial management with process improvement and strategic support. Working closely with the Chief Finance & Operations Officer, you will play a key role in delivering robust financial management, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting effective decision-making across the College.

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the College's finance function, including:

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Overseeing payroll and pension administration
• Producing cash flow forecasts, reconciliations and management information
• Supporting budgeting, financial planning and annual audit processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Developing and improving financial systems, controls and processes
• Line managing the Finance Assistant and providing support across the wider organisation

This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to colleagues from a range of backgrounds.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience), with GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above)
• Significant experience in a finance management role covering accounts, payroll and bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, payroll, pensions and HMRC requirements
• Excellent analytical, organisational and Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience supervising or supporting finance staff
• A proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service

It would be an advantage if you have experience within a charity, higher education or not-for-profit environment and are studying towards or hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).

Role:   Senior Events and Community Fundraising Officer

Scope of the role

You will manage and successfully deliver key events including the London Marathon, Great North Run and London Landmarks Half Marathon, as well as third party and DIY challenge fundraising. You’ll lead on supporter recruitment and stewardship to meet or exceed agreed targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track, as well as maintaining accurate supporter data. You’ll also support on the delivery of Community and Virtual challenge fundraising, including our flagship challenge, Walk in Her Name. 

1)Support planning and delivery of the Events programme

i) Support recruitment, engagement and retention across our event portfolio including London Marathon, Great North Run, London Landmarks as well as third party and DIY challenges to meet or exceed agreed income and engagement targets, while keeping budgets, income and performance on track. 

ii) Responsible for the OCA London Marathon team from sign-up to post-race including delivery of training and fundraising support, on the day cheer point and post-race celebration activities.

iii) Attend events as required. 

iv) Support the team Manager to plan and deliver virtual challenges, including our flagship event, Walk in Her Name and Walk 100, working collaboratively across the team to maximise supporter experience and campaign performance. 

2) Manage delivery of Community Fundraising

i) Manage delivery of community fundraising and engagement

ii) Support the team manager to explore and identify new opportunities for growth.

3) Provide excellent supporter care across the events and community portfolio

i) Deliver excellent supporter care across Events and Community fundraising, ensuring every supporter receives timely, helpful and inspiring communications throughout their fundraising journey

ii) Monitor event performance and supporter feedback, sharing and deploying insight to improve stewardship journeys, recruitment activity and future planning 

iii) Work closely with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications, Finance and Database teams to deliver integrated, supporter-led activity.

4) Provide excellent administrative support

i) Manage and track event budgets, income and expenditure, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting and post-campaign evaluation.

ii) Maintain accurate supporter and financial records across Raiser’s Edge and fundraising platforms, including data coding, income coding and administrative processes to support excellent supporter care

iii) Ensure all events and fundraising activity is delivered in line with Ovarian Cancer Action’s processes, fundraising best practice, GDPR requirements and relevant legislation.

Additional details

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join Orbis UK on a 6-month fixed-term contract, helping the organisation strengthen and embed excellent people practices while delivering key HR priorities.

This role is critical to supporting a highly performing group of staff and trustees as they seek to transform lives through the prevention and treatment of blindness. About the role

We’re looking for a London Marathon Officer to join Young Lives vs Cancer and help deliver an exceptional experience for Team Young Lives vs Cancer runners, supporters and volunteers at the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon. 

This is an unprecedented, one-off event year and one of our biggest fundraising opportunities – so we’re looking for someone who’s ready to play a hands-on role in making it a huge success. 

This fixed-term role sits in our Sports and Challenge Events team, working closely with the Sports and Challenge Events Portfolio Manager to steward our marathon fundraisers, build strong supporter relationships and keep our communities motivated across email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, post and social channels. 

You’ll also support event delivery, including registration and training systems, fundraising materials, income checks, volunteer coordination and race-week logistics. We’re looking for someone organised, proactive and confident juggling priorities in a busy events environment. 

You’ll need to be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends, with additional office attendance in Bristol and London ahead of the event and availability during London Marathon week in April 2027 (20th to 25th April). 

What will I be doing?

• Build relationships with supports by answering queries across email, SMS, phone and post

About you and the role

This is a pivotal role, at a pivotal moment for us. We are entering a critical growth phase, which includes rapidly expanding our own operations and managing significant external partnership. As Head of Finance & Systems, you will be accountable for ensuring we have the right systems and structures in place to grow at pace without detriment to good governance.

We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with an interest in effectively using technology and systems to drive efficiency, without compromising on accuracy or compliance. 

You will oversee all financial administration, ensuring this is carried out proficiently and in line with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all statutory filings are made accurately and on time. • Developing a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities.

• Hands-on Management Accounting: Proven experience independently producing monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis from scratch.

• End-to-End Audit Management: Experience preparing year-end audit files, reconciling balance sheet control accounts, and acts as the primary point of contact for external auditors.

• Accountancy Qualification: Full or partial qualification through an accredited body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA).

As a Support Worker at Ace of Clubs drop-in day centre supporting people who are homeless and facing adversity, you will play a key role in supporting individuals who may be navigating chaotic lifestyles, trauma, and multiple disadvantages. You will provide practical and emotional support, help people access essential services, and work to empower them to move towards independence.

Your role will involve working directly with service users, managing case records, liaising with partner agencies, and contributing to the smooth running of our busy centre. Ultimately, you will support people to overcome barriers, develop essential skills, and build confidence in navigating life challenges and providing advocacy where needed.  In particular, you will be on duty as Support Worker during our busy, daily lunchtime service - responding to the needs of a variety of guests – on a busy day we can reach 150 – 200 guests visiting our service.

In addition, Ace of Clubs works with a wide range of volunteers and partners on a daily basis including food partners, health partners, corporate, individual and client volunteers.  Your role will also be required to support the team in the smooth functioning of these areas, for example liaising with partners on site, showing around volunteers or feeding back any issues during lunch service.

The Senior Fundraising Manager will play a key strategic role in supporting the mission and ministry of St Edmundsbury Cathedral by developing and delivering a diverse range of fundraising activities, with a particular focus on Trusts and Foundations, major funding opportunities, donor stewardship and the growth of sustainable income.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, the role will identify and develop new funding opportunities, build strong relationships with Trusts and Foundations, and lead the preparation and submission of high-quality funding applications and reports. About the Role and the Service

The Localities Service provides holistic wellbeing support to anyone in Oxfordshire experiencing a mental health issue or poor mental wellbeing, empowering people in their own recovery.  They offer an initial Advice and Guidance session to help people identify their wellbeing support needs and signpost to a wide range of services available within Oxfordshire Mind and in the local community. They offer a broad range of peer support groups to our enhanced cohort and short courses and workshops to enable people to learn tools and strategies to improve their wellbeing.

The Deputy Manager – Localities will support the Oxfordshire Wellbeing Manager to ensure effective delivery of high-quality locality-based services for people experiencing mental health issues in Oxfordshire. Providing some direct support to service users through Advice and Guidance sessions, short courses, workshops and peer support groups as well as providing management support to the team.

Team Sahara is a dedicated service supporting South Asian communities affected by dementia across Greater Manchester. We work alongside people living with dementia, families, carers, community groups, faith organisations and local partners to help people access the support, information and connections they need to live well with dementia.

You don't need experience in dementia, healthcare or social care to apply. We're looking for people who can bring transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting others.

You may have gained these skills through customer service, retail, education, housing, hospitality, community work, charities, faith organisations or other people focused roles. You may also have personal experience of supporting or caring for someone affected by dementia.

If you can build relationships, listen with empathy, communicate confidently, solve problems and help people feel understood and supported, you may already have the skills we're looking for.

You'll spend most of your working week out and about across Greater Manchester, supporting people affected by dementia, attending community events, working alongside local organisations and helping people access the support they need.

This role involves being out in communities throughout the week, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling independently and working across different locations as part of your normal working pattern.

While some planning and administration can be completed from home, the focus of this role is being present in communities, meeting people face to face and building trusted local connections.

What could a typical week look like?

No two days are the same, but you might find yourself:

- Visiting a family affected by dementia and helping them understand the support available to them.

- Supporting a Memory Café, creating a welcoming space where people can connect, share experiences and feel less alone.

- Connecting people with support that helps them stay independent, informed and connected.

About you
