We are seeking a talented Director of Programme Delivery and Operations (maternity cover), fully committed to our widening participation cause, to join the Senior Leadership Team in a pivotal role for a growing and ambitious charity. 

You will have responsibility for ensuring we are providing high quality programme delivery to young people across our centre network, that are centres are functioning effectively, and that targets are monitored and met. Through the development and delivery of high-quality training programmes, you will help ensure that victims, survivors and their families receive the right support at the right time.

Working closely with colleagues across the Training and Development Team, associate trainers, commissioners and external partners, you will lead on the delivery, assessment and quality assurance of accredited and non-accredited training programmes. You will develop engaging training materials that place lived experience at the heart of learning, support the development of new training offers in response to emerging sector needs, and contribute to SafeLives' reputation as a leader in domestic abuse training and professional development.

We're looking for someone with excellent facilitation, communication and relationship-building skills, alongside strong knowledge of domestic abuse and experience of working with victims, survivors and their families. You'll be confident delivering training to a range of audiences, committed to creating engaging learner experiences, and motivated by the opportunity to improve practice and outcomes for those affected by domestic abuse.

Digital Resources and Educational Content

Manage a digital content calendar across social media and the website. Coordinate contributions from staff, partners and participants. Ensure consistency in tone, accessibility and messaging.

Data, Learning and Impact

Help us gather data and understand data. Use analytics to understand how people engage with digital content. Support the development of feedback and impact surveys for beneficiaries. Essential skills and experience

At Cruse we believe bereaved people should not be alone in their grief. We provide expert bereavement and grief training and support.

Cruse has over 3,500 volunteers who provide bereavement support in a range of ways including answering helpline call, support through understanding your bereavement sessions, and one-to-one and group support. We provide a wide range of training for organisations and individuals, through grief awareness webinars and essential bereavement support training.

Role Purpose

The Head of Commercial Income is a senior leadership role and a member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

The postholder will lead the Charity's commercial income function, with responsibility for growing sustainable income through commissioned and commercial services, training, Ask Jan membership and other opportunities.

This is a strategic, commercially focused and hands-on role. The postholder will be a visible face of the Charity, building strong relationships with local authorities, commissioners, public sector organisations, businesses and other partners. A particular focus will be growing the Charity's position within the statutory sector.
