5. Work collaboratively with NHS staff, volunteers and Sands colleagues to support equitable, high-quality bereavement care for all families.
6. Contribute to the development and delivery of practical resources, communications and support offers that help hospitals engage with NBCP England.
Coordinate programme activity, monitoring and reporting
1. Coordinate key elements of the NBCP England hospital liaison workplan, ensuring activity is well organised, timely and aligned with programme priorities.

3. Support the monitoring of outputs, outcomes and impact, including volunteer engagement, hospital reach, Trust activity and use of NBCP resources.
4. Prepare updates, summaries and reports for Sands colleagues, programme leads and other relevant stakeholders.
5. Use project coordination tools and systems to support planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
6. Contribute to measuring the difference made by hospital liaison activity and NBCP England support.
Gather, analyse and share feedback and insight
1. Gather feedback and insight from Hospital Liaison Volunteers, NHS staff, Sands colleagues and other stakeholders.
2. Identify themes, learning, gaps and examples of good practice from hospital liaison activity.
3. Share insight in a clear and accessible way to support continuous improvement across the NBCP England programme.
4. Use feedback to help inform future developments, resources, communications and support for hospitals and volunteers.
5. Contribute to a learning culture where volunteer and hospital insight is valued and used to improve bereavement care.

You will also undertake associated case management and administrative work. You will be required to offer evening sessions until 8pm at least one evening a week (on Monday or Thursday) as part of your working hours and there is also the potential to develop and facilitate group work.
Main Requirements
As a Psychotherapist/ Creative Art Psychotherapist/Counsellor with relevant post qualification practice you will work collaboratively community organisations/CAMHS and other partners to reduce barriers to mental health support to children, young people and young adults from the ACH community. You will work with young people on a 1:1 basis, with parent/carers during assessment, and group work. You will undertake holistic assessments, and hold a caseload providing outcome focussed interventions that support resilience and emotional wellbeing. In addition you will be knowledgeable about the wider health determinants which impact on ACH communities and barriers for children, young people and young adults achieving positive outcomes. You will be a warm, empathic individual with an ability to relate to young people and work as part of a team.
We are committed to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in all that we do and welcome applications from all sections of the community. We are looking for a Communications and Digital Campaigns Coordinator/Lead to work with Feeding Liverpool’s Food Alliance partners and staff team to increase the reach and collective impact of our work through communications, digital campaigns and storytelling.
The role will enable the food alliance in Liverpool to embrace and promote the voices and perspectives of Liverpool’s communities and partners - an essential step in creating a more equitable food system for everybody in the city.
We are open to hearing from candidates with diverse experiences about their ideas detailing how they would take this work forward.
This is an exciting time to join our organisation. We have a creative and dynamic staff team, a strong trustee board and a fantastically committed group of partners and member organisations. Furthermore, Liverpool’s Food Alliance is about to launch phase two of the city’s Good Food Plan, setting out our vision for the future of the partnership and the city. Liverpool is full of inspirational people who are active in building a city where everybody has access to good food.
Our work is led by their voices; therefore it is essential that the successful candidate is able to work collaboratively within our city-wide partnership. It is equally important that the post-holder is able to develop relationships within national networks, seeking inspiration and guidance from other parts of the country, to support Feeding Liverpool’s role in leading the Good Food Plan, and to act as a conduit for resources and inform work in Liverpool.
We have developed a detailed job description and person specification, which outlines the character and competencies needed for the role. We would refer potential candidates to our website for stories, reports and strategies that outline our approach.
The Communications and Digital Campaigns Coordinator/Lead will need to be hands-on and active within our communities. Feeding Liverpool aims to work flexibly with employees, and there will be the opportunity to work from home. However, given the nature of the role it is important that you will be able to commute to the office in Liverpool City Centre, and meetings across the city, on a regular basis.

About Us
Head and neck cancer is one of the fastest-rising cancers in the UK, now affecting around 14,000 people every year — the 5th most common cancer among men, 7th overall, and the fastest growing among young people. Too often, symptoms are missed or misunderstood, and more than half of cases are diagnosed at a late stage. That means compromised survival rates, more invasive treatment, and a recovery that can mean a new way of eating, speaking and living.
Oracle Head & Neck Cancer UK exists to change that story. We work to prevent cancers where possible, drive earlier detection, and make sure people have clear information, support and guidance through and after treatment — so nobody has to cope in silence or confusion. We also fund groundbreaking research and collaborate across the sector to maximise our impact for patients.
As the only national charity dedicated to head and neck cancers, we're moving in an exciting new direction — and we have a unique opportunity to build an organisation that delivers maximum impact for patients and their families, while staying true to our roots.
The Role
We're looking for an Individual Giving, Community & Events Fundraiser to join our small, ambitious team. You'll bring broad experience of individual giving and community fundraising (or strong transferable skills), and you'll be confident organising events and stewarding supporters across their whole journey with us.
We need someone flexible, hands-on, and ready to get stuck into everything a small charity has to offer. We push boundaries for our patient community, so we value people who bring innovation and aren't afraid to seize opportunities as they arise.
We offer a competitive salary and remote working, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and professional development and mentorship opportunities.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit your CV and a supporting statement of no more than 2 sides each. The statement must clearly demonstrate your relevant experience and how you meet the person specification set out in the full job description attached.
Equal Opportunity Employer
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
