Head of Individual Giving

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Head of Individual Giving to lead and grow our individual giving programme.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.

You’ll also play a key role in developing new fundraising products, optimising donor journeys, and ensuring our CRM and data systems support excellent stewardship and insight-driven decision making. This is a senior position with significant scope to shape the programme and make your mark.

About You

We’re looking for a confident and strategic fundraiser with a strong grasp of individual giving and a collaborative approach. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience delivering successful individual giving or direct marketing campaigns in the charity sector
• Strong skills in supporter stewardship and donor retention
• Experience of managing budgets, teams and external suppliers
• A creative, data-driven approach to growing income

This is an exciting time for the Trust as we are in the second year of our ambitious NLHF funded activity plan.  You will be providing support for the volunteer journey from recruitment and onboarding, to role support across all areas of volunteer activity in the park.

This role will be key to supporting the ongoing development of our volunteering programme and ensuring that the correct processes are followed, volunteers and schools/learning groups have the information they need, resourcing is at appropriate levels and rooms, and equipment is booked as needed. 

You will work as part of the Content, Learning and Engagement team, line managed by the Senior Volunteering Manager.

The role is offered on a one-year fixed term contract with Crystal Palace Park Trust. Any extension is subject to funding.

The role

As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will be a driving force behind MedicAlert's life-saving mission, developing, securing and stewarding partnerships across the charity, public and private sectors.

You will own the full partnership lifecycle - from research and relationship building through to delivery, evaluation and renewal - working closely with the Director of Marketing and Development, CEO and Leadership Team. Acting as a central point of coordination internally and externally, you will design partnership models that deliver meaningful social impact alongside sustainable income and organisational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and prioritise prospective strategic partners whose values, audiences and objectives align with MedicAlert's mission

You will also bring:

Make a real difference to the lives of Afghan communities. In this role, you will drive change: stewarding relationships with public donors and fundraisers, supporting income generation and retention, maintaining high quality supporter data, and helping identify opportunities to grow engagement and income across these areas.

You will work closely with colleagues across the Communications and Giving team to support the delivery of fundraising appeals, donor communications and events, including the London Marathon, while also contributing to the smooth running of the London office through essential supporter liaison tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of individual giving activity and Afghanaid’s annual fundraising appeals, as well as regular giving and donor acquisition campaigns.

• Attend organisational meetings at a senior level that require input and guidance from a Corporate Partnership perspective.

Funders In Good is looking for a Programme Officer to join our programmes team and help deliver initiatives that support and grow social ventures.

As a Programme Officer, you will work closely with the existing team to develop and deliver high-quality interventions. You will support key areas of work within our programme framework, contribute to the delivery of ongoing projects, and assist in other important areas of the organisation, such as our Funder Community and core operations.

As the Digital Communications Officer, you will play a key role maintaining Mission 44’s digital presence across our website, social media platforms, and email marketing. You’ll help to create high-quality, impactful content that connects diverse audiences to our mission and elevates the voices of young people within our network. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you’ll distribute content across digital platforms, ensuring our communications are timely, forward-looking, and aligned with Mission 44’s brand.

You’ll also use data and analytics to optimise digital output, track performance, and spot emerging trends - proactively identifying opportunities to grow reach and engagement. From planning and scheduling content to supporting campaign delivery and evaluation, you’ll help strengthen our storytelling and ensure all our digital platforms are being used to drive long-term, systemic change for young people.

Requirements

DIGITAL PLATFORMS & CONTENT MANAGEMENT (50%)

• Manage Mission 44’s communications calendar, ensuring timely and consistent content across website, email newsletter, and social media channels.
• Coordinate content scheduling, publishing and distribution to maximise reach and engagement.
• Maintain and update the Mission 44 website to meet organisational and audience needs, including publishing content and ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure our digital communications are consistent with compliance best practice, including as it relates to data protection and safeguarding.

CONTENT PRODUCTION (20%)

• Support the planning and delivery of creative content and digital campaigns to drive engagement and increase impact.
• Lead on producing branded digital assets, including graphics, reports, presentations, newsletter and social media content, ensuring alignment with Mission 44’s brand guidelines.
• Work with internal teams and external partners to gather content, stories, and case studies.

MONITORING, REPORTING & INSIGHTS (20%) 

• Monitor, analyse, and report on digital performance using tools such as Google Analytics and Sprout Social.
• Share regular insights on latest digital trends and audience engagement, making proactive and data informed suggestions.
• Monitor social media activity, media mentions, sector news, and partner content, flagging relevant updates, risks and opportunities.

ADMINISTRATION & INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS (10%)

• Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, storing data and documentation, and wider coordination across the communications team.
• Share regular internal updates on digital activity, performance, and media coverage to support cross-team collaboration and alignment.
• Maintain records and systems to ensure effective content management and reporting.

ESSENTIAL 

• Experience managing digital platforms including websites, email marketing (e.g. Mailchimp), and social media channels.
• Passion for creative storytelling and knowledge of latest digital trends.
• Strong content creation skills, including copywriting and use of design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe).
• Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media management platforms (e.g. Sprout Social).

Job Title: Individual Giving Officer

• Department: Fundraising

• Reports to: Head of Fundraising

• Responsible for: Individual Giving 

• Working Hours: 23.25 hours per week. 15-month contract

1. Purpose of the Role

• Working with the Head of Fundraising develop programmes for the recruitment and retention of individual supporters.

• Maximise income across channels including direct mail, email, social media. Working with other team members to deliver this.

• Grow income stream from individual giving products such as appeals, raffles, lotteries and other individual giving products, such as our Pet Pen Sponsorship.

• Develop budgets and business plans and contribute to fundraising strategy. 

• Manage and optimise supporter experience for retention, engagement, and cross-marketing. 

• Analyse appeal results for continual improvement.

2. Principle Tasks

• Oversee the annual individual giving fundraising calendar and campaigns from start to finish.

• Plan and manage direct marketing and digital appeals, including supplier coordination.

• Conduct market research and maintain awareness of trends to inform innovation.

• Prepare budgets and monitor performance.

• Develop donor recruitment campaigns.

• Develop supporter journeys.

• Develop warm programmes.

• Write fundraising copy, providing guidance on design to artworkers. Work with local studio artists and internal staff to produce final materials.

• Coordinate with PR, comms, and other departments on campaign messaging and execution.

• Analyse campaign performance and produce evaluation insights.
