A well-established UK charity is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join its finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The organisation operates a significant retail and e-commerce function which generates vital income to support its charitable activities. This role will provide strategic financial support to these commercially focused areas, helping to drive performance, improve decision-making and maximise income generation.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, this role will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Retail and E-commerce, providing insightful financial analysis, commercial challenge and financial modelling to support business planning and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with senior stakeholders across Retail and E-commerce, providing financial support and challenge to drive performance and achieve strategic objectives.

• Develop a detailed understanding of the operational and commercial drivers behind retail and online income streams.

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and reforecasts, ensuring financial plans align with organisational priorities.

• Produce monthly management accounts, delivering meaningful commentary and insight into financial performance.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases, investment decisions, growth initiatives and scenario planning.

• Analyse sales performance, income trends, cost drivers and operational KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support income generation strategies through commercial analysis and performance reporting.

• Build strong relationships with budget holders, providing ongoing financial guidance and support.

• Present financial information and analysis to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.

• Support month-end and year-end reporting activities, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist with the annual accounts process and act as a point of contact for external auditors where required.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing financial processes, systems and reporting capabilities across the organisation.

You will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.

• Have strong Finance Business Partnering experience, ideally supporting retail, e-commerce, commercial or income-generating functions.

• Possess excellent financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills.

• Have the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial and operational data and translate this into actionable insight.

• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and an understanding of the key drivers of retail and online performance.

• Be confident building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-finance audiences.

• Have experience producing management accounts and performance reporting.

• Have knowledge of charity accounting and SORP, or a strong interest in developing expertise within the sector.

• Be proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

As the Finance Manager, you will support the monitoring and control of Trust spend, working closely with the Finance Director to successfully manage budgets and incoming resources, whilst delivering the highest standards of customer service to the academies in the Trust and other stakeholders.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day finance transactions, including banking, management accounts review and reconciliation, debtor management and reporting, and the administration and development of the finance system. This includes close working with the Accounts Payable team to ensure robust financial control, compliance and efficiency across all academies within the Trust.

You will provide a stable, flexible and resilient service that supports leadership in delivering value for money and strong financial stewardship across all income streams received by the Trust. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Control & Accounting: Lead month-end close procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, and correction journals. Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate annual depreciation in line with academy financial reporting standards.
• Budgeting & Income Management: Partner with the Finance Director to advise academy budget holders, manage self-generated income streams (including debt management/reporting), and oversee compliance for the 6th form bursary payment process.
• Cash & Compliance: Direct daily banking reconciliations, cash-flow forecasting, and monthly VAT 126 return submissions to HMRC.
• Systems & Operational Support: Act as the super-user and administrator for the Trust’s finance system—providing training to staff and stepping in to support the Accounts Payable team during peak periods.
• Procurement: Oversee the Trust’s centralised contract register to support timely renewals, compliance with procurement policy, and value-for-money principles.
• Audit & Governance: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and support the internal scrutiny and external annual audit processes by providing clean evidence.
• Academy Partnering: Spend time out at the local academy sites to assist with school trip costings, build visibility, and strengthen financial understanding across the school. 

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Sector Experience: Prior finance experience within an educational setting, academy trust, local authority, or the wider public/not-for-profit sector is highly desirable but not essential.
• Technical Strength: A strong foundation in management accounts preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial control frameworks.
• System Savvy: Excellent IT skills, particularly with modern finance software/ERP systems, and the ability to train/support other users.
• Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex financial matters clearly to academic leaders and senior trustees who may not have a finance background.
• Flexibility: A collaborative mindset with a willingness to travel to different academy locations in North London as required.

About the Role

As an Operations Manager you will lead and manage the delivery of victim services supporting adults, children and young people, including specialist DA support for children and our Restorative Justice team. You will ensure the provision of high-quality services, as well as compliance with contractual and organisational standards, and supporting the Area Manager to identify opportunities for service development.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with our client to recruit a Grants Associate to join the team based in the City Of London (EC2N). The organisation operates a hybrid working model, two days in the office currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The Role
This substantive role within a high performing small team , will support the delivery of high-quality grant-making activity across the organisation. It will play a key role in assessing grants and transactions, managing sensitive donor interactions, and ensuring due diligence and compliance with UK charity law and regulatory requirements is adhered to at all times. This is very much a process and systems driven role where the mechanics of the grant making cycle are operated and monitored closely, and attention to detail and accuracy are core to its success.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation and a network of external high profile stakeholders, this role will help maintain rigorous systems while contributing to continuous improvements in how the charity operates. This is an opportunity to develop expertise in a sophisticated philanthropic environment, working with complex cases and contributing to meaningful charitable impact.

The Person
The successful candidate will be an experienced and detail experienced grants system professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be comfortable working with complex information, able to clearly identify risk, and practiced in making sound, evidence-based decisions and business cases.

This person will communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing, and will be confident managing sensitive and confidential  conversations with donors and their advisors. Highly organised, fast paced and able to prioritise effectively, this person will be able to manage a varied and busy workload spanning both operational delivery and longer-term strategic projects.

This person will have strong understanding of charity law and the UK regulatory frameworks, and will be confident using IT systems to manage data and processes. Experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce will be very useful, though a willingness to learn is equally important.

Experience in donor-advised funds, philanthropic advice, wealth management structures, and/or working with UHNW individuals and Foundations would be very advantageous, as would exposure to international grant-making or funding policy development work. Comfortable working in a corporate style environment will be important and having a genuine commitment to the organisation’s philanthropic mission will be essential.

The role

This is more than a traditional Executive Assistant role.  You’ll act as a trusted partner, supporting strategic priorities and enabling effective decision-making. You’ll also play a key role in board and governance processes, helping to ensure senior leadership and trustees are fully supported to deliver organisational priorities.

Salary: £42,000 – £46,000

This role would suit someone with experience working with high-net-worth individuals who thrives in a fast-paced, growing organisation. We're looking for someone who is motivated by both people and outcomes—someone who enjoys using insight and data to build strong donor relationships and achieve ambitious fundraising goals.

Role Overview
 
As the Mid & Major Donor Manager, you will develop and deliver strategies that inspire individuals to invest in the mission of 24-7 Prayer through four and five-figure gifts. You will manage a portfolio of mid and major donors and prospects, leading cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity that helps supporters deepen their partnership with the movement. Through thoughtful relationship management, you'll create personalised opportunities for donors to engage with the stories, people and projects that matter most to them. 
 
You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to communicate impact, identify opportunities and ensure supporters experience exceptional care throughout their giving journey.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading public research universities to support their search for a temporary, full-time (35 hours per week) Programme Administrator to assist during a particularly busy period. The role is due to start as soon as possible, ideally next week. Although the exact duration has yet to be confirmed, it is expected to last for at least three months. Further details will be shared at the shortlisting stage. The role is based onsite in Holborn, with no option for hybrid working later in the assignment.

As Programme Administrator, you will provide high-level administrative support to both faculty and students, ensuring the smooth operation of courses and programmes within the department. Key areas of responsibility include:
 

• Programme Administration – Supporting Programme Managers with the day-to-day running of departmental programmes.
• Course and Faculty Support – Preparing course materials and maintaining/updating course Moodle pages.
• Examinations and Assessments – Assisting in the administration of departmental examinations in accordance with university policies.
• Service Delivery – Providing general administrative support, helping manage departmental resources, and serving as the first point of contact for phone inquiries.

To be considered for this post, you should have prior experience in a fast-paced administrative support role. Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

We are now recruiting the team that will deliver Crisis at Christmas 2026. This unique project mobilises a huge volunteering effort to provide warmth, companionship and vital services in temporary centres across London to people facing homelessness.

Contract: Fixed term contract from 9 September 2026 to 27 February 2027

Location: Canning Town Warehouse, Unit 4 SEGRO Park, London E16 4ES - three days per week onsite.

This role will involve working throughout the Crisis at Christmas project, which runs through from the middle of December to the end of January each year. It will involve working on site through Christmas and New Year.

About the role

This role will involve building relationships with current and new corporate donors to ensure we can resource all the material donations we need to run the Crisis at Christmas centres in London. Each year, we source gift in kind donations ranging from food and beverages to clothing, hairdressing equipment and toiletries. This is a varied role that involves researching donors, communicating with large corporate companies, managing volunteers, and running our yearly community donations drive.

About you

• Previous fundraising, project or event coordination or marketing experience.

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with partner organisations and donors at all levels and work collaboratively within a wider team.

• Excellent attention to detail and data processing accuracy with experience of using Microsoft Office software, in particular Word, Excel, and SharePoint.  

• Good organisational and problem-solving skills. You should be able to manage multiple competing priorities and modify plans in response to unexpected complications. 

• A pro-active, positive attitude and willingness to get involved in hands on, manual tasks when required.
