We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist to join the Front Office Team at TreeHouse School, part of Ambitious about Autism.

This is a key front-facing role, providing a high-quality reception and administrative service for both the school and the wider organisation. You will often be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, staff and external partners, helping to create a welcoming, safe and well-organised environment.

Reception and front office duties

• Provide a professional, welcoming and efficient reception service
• Act as the first point of contact for internal and external telephone calls
• Answer and transfer calls accurately, taking and relaying messages as required
• Welcome, sign in and direct visitors in line with safeguarding procedures
• Ensure the reception area is safe, tidy, welcoming and well-organised at all times
• Maintain accurate signing-in and signing-out procedures for visitors

Administrative and office support

• Open, log and distribute incoming post in a timely manner
• Log incoming cheques and ensure appropriate handling
• Manage outgoing post and arrange special or courier services when required
• Support stationery and supplier management, including weekly stock checks
• Place orders and process invoices in line with financial procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting the CEO

• Assist and support the CEO in the fulfilment of his/her responsibilities, including (but not limited to):
• Diary and other contact management, meetings booking and confirmation, including judgement on the level and appropriateness of engagement.
• Assist the CEO to prepare slide decks and other materials for presentations.
• Liaise with the Travel Officer and other departments to ensure all travel arrangements are made for the CEO as required. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to schedule meetings with the CEO and to ensure venues and arrangements are well prepared.
• Meeting, greeting and booking rooms for any external visitors, acting in a friendly and professional manner.
• Circulating the agenda, booking rooms and capturing notes for Executive Team meetings.
• Ensure stakeholder contact details are kept current on ParalympicsGB’s  contact database.

Supporting the Board and ParalympicsGB’s governance

• In collaboration with the Chair and the Head of Governance and Compliance:
• Agree timings, locations and logistics for Board meetings, including booking rooms and providing refreshments.
• Ensure agenda and Board papers are uploaded to the Teams channel for Board members to access and assist with issues Board members may have accessing Teams.
• Prepare email responses, letters, briefing papers and other documents as required by the Chair in connection with BPA business.
• Support Board members in arranging meetings in connection with ParalympicsGB business
• Plan for Board members attendance for the Games, being the key point of contact sharing information with both the Board and internal planning teams.
• Support the Head of Governance and Compliance in preparing and managing member meetings, including NPC meetings, Election meetings and Annual General Meetings. Leading on:
• Ensure timings, venues and agendas are communicated to members and papers are made available to members.
• Book rooms for member meetings and arranging refreshments.
• Send out invitations and papers, collate the guest list, confirm numbers, accessibility & dietary requirements
• Ensuring changes in member contact details are kept current on the BPA’s contact management database.
• Support the Head of Governance and Compliance in processes around electing and appointing Board members, including appointment letters and induction information.

Events

Working closely with the Events and Projects Manager and internal event leads, help to coordinate the planning and delivery of the entire portfolio of ParalympicsGB external events. Ensure all events are planned and delivered to a consistent high quality.

• Ensure planning deadlines are met in a timely manner and that internal and external stakeholders have been consulted with as required.
• Provide expertise to event leads to ensure ParalympicsGB events address accessibility in the planning and delivery, and that all events have a consistent look and feel.
• Ensure all Health & Safety risk assessments are done and risks are being managed.
• Coordinate all room/venue bookings and catering arrangements
• Support with venue research and recces and attend venue planning meetings
• Send invites, manage responses and FAQs.
• Coordinate any additional logistics required e.g. gifting, branding, movement of equipment
• If required, provide event support on the day and/or arrange colleague support on the day.
• Work with colleagues to ensure lessons learnt from previous events are embedded into future planning.

Other

• Project Lead for Games Time Ticketing ensuring the successful delivery of this complex Games workstream.
• Support on the planning of major projects, such as Team Lodge and leading on the planning of project workstreams as required
• Provide support with planning and coordination of the ParalympicsGB Guest programme.
• Manage the ParalympicsGB inbox ensuring responses are provided in a timely manner and information is disseminated as required.

About the role:

This role will work across Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent, but will be based in our Stafford office. Hybrid working is considered following our mandatory six month probationary period. Travel across the whole of Staffordshire will be required.

As an IDVA you will be asked to:

• Provide a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
• Promoting the service and raising awareness of issues arising, minimising barriers and improving access to support

You will need:

• Experience of providing support those affected by domestic abuse
• Experience of undertaking need and risk assessments and creating safety plans
• Experience of the MARAC and other partnership processes
• Experience of multi agency working

Domestic Abuse Caseworker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker to join the Domestic Abuse team based at the office in Portsmouth with regular travel required throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining the services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred and referred service users, providing information and advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk and needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support and information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services and work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate and confidential case records on a bespoke case management system.
• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support.
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer.
• Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients.

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims and experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting.  Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk and needs assessments would be beneficial. 

You will need:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong IT skills, including the ability to navigate and utilise bespoke case management systems effectively and an ability to use Microsoft Office applications to a high standard
• Good organisational and time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.

nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.

nia is a professionally approved member of Rape Crisis England and Wales; an umbrella organisation supporting Rape Crisis Centres across the country. Rape Crisis is completely independent of the government and the criminal justice system.

East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls aged 11 years old+ who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support. Services include advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work. The service is provided across Barking & Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Redbridge, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

We form part of the London Sexual Violence Alliance. The Alliance brings together 225 years of expertise and experience and represents a bold, visionary and survivor-centred resource. The Alliance consists of eight members. Seven are organisations that have historically, and or currently, provide support for victims/survivors. MOPAC is the eighth member, primarily sitting at the oversight and leadership governance level. 

Note: each organisation continues to be an independent charity, so the Alliance is not a legal entity.

Hours: 28hours per week including 1 evening per week

In the role of ELRC Women and Girls Counsellor, you will provide one to one counselling and group therapy to female survivors of sexual violence. You will work as part of a growing feminist Rape Crisis service that is developing to meet the needs of women and girls. Counselling is delivered face to face, online and via the phone.

We are looking for a counsellor who can provide a commitment of 28 hours a week of counselling services, including one evening per week.

We are looking for highly organised and self-motivated women who are passionate about ending violence against women, girls and children. You will have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer and well.

Qualifications & Experience

• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats and platforms, with the ability to communicate financial or investment-related content clearly

• Familiarity with trade & national media landscape in the UK

• Experience creating content for professional and stakeholder audiences, including investors, policymakers, or sector specialists

• Familiarity with the UK investment, charity, or social enterprise landscape

• Confidence working with data, evidence, and financial information to support communications outputs

About You:

As the Co-production Co-ordinator you will lead on promoting and developing the co-production element of the London Service. You will manage and chair the Experts by Experience Panel which is the forum through which current and past service users can influence the development of the London DA Service (Safe Horizons London Partnership).

The Safe Horizons London Partnership supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse to cope and recover from the impact crime has had on them, as well as supporting their journey through the criminal justice process. The service delivery model has been shaped by the views of service users and you will have an important role in growing their input and influence. The CCSA is the trade association accelerating the commercial deployment Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (or CCUS) through advocacy and collaboration. Our ambition is to see CCUS developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations. We represent a wide variety of organisations with an interest in the development and deployment of CCUS across many applications to decarbonise industries, power, and hydrogen production, and remove carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere.

The CCSA operates as a not-for-profit company, overseen by a board of elected members. We have 22 staff across our London & Brussels offices.

The role

We are a dynamic and agile organisation looking for a proactive and confident Events and Membership Officer to support the delivery of events and services to our 120+ members. As we are small team, all staff have the opportunity to develop and own their own work streams. For this role, we anticipate that the successful candidate will become responsible for end-to-end event delivery, as well as taking the lead on oversight of the CCSA website. About you and the role

This role will initially support the set up and roll out of a national school food resource hub, supporting the creation of resources for the platform, working closely with internal teams and external partners. With the hub still in development, you will be joining at a crucial point to help shape what goes live, how it looks and sounds, and how useful it is for the people we most want to reach.

Our aim is that schools and the wider school food community can quickly find practical, trusted resources that help them improve food in schools. That might be a headteacher looking for a simple starting point, a school chef wanting a clear guide to implement new practices, or a teacher looking to introduce food education. 

Your role will focus on creating and maintaining high quality resources for the hub. You will turn ideas, evidence, and stories into clear content in different formats, including short one to two pagers, multi-page guides, videos, photographs and interactive resources. You will adapt your writing and framing to different audiences, keeping content aligned with brand guidelines.

This role sits within our comms team but works closely with our school transformation and membership teams. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and develop content, including supporting interviews and capturing case studies. You will also help manage the day to day flow of content into the hub, keeping resources organised, up to date and easy to navigate, while bringing a curious, practical mindset that helps us keep improving what we publish. You’ll identify any resources that could be a wider engagement tool to draw more people to the hub.

This is a brand-new role where you’ll help shape our approach to fundraising from the ground up — growing and supporting individual giving in our parishes, helping to build a new CMS, developing diocesan-wide appeals, and co-creating a simple and effective legacy campaign.

You’ll be working in a collaborative, welcoming environment with people who are passionate about making a difference and open to new ideas. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and detail-focused, and is comfortable working across different platforms.

About the Role

Appointment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, though reduced hours and flexi-time will be considered.

Location: Diocese of Salford Cathedral Centre - 3 Ford Street, Salford M3 6DP

Salary & Benefits: £ 30,131 - £33,406 per annum, 25 holidays, plus statutory bank holidays and 5 Diocesan closure days.

Main Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser to refine and roll-out the parish fundraising programme.
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and Deputy Chief Operating Officer to devise and deliver a programme of annual diocesan appeals.
• Develop and deliver clear and engaging content for print, digital, website and social media elements of the appeal.
• Ensure donors and users have an accessible and seamless experience across all channels.
• Ensure projects are delivered within budget, checking and seeking advice where necessary.
• Implement and maintain a diocesan Customer Management System
• Prepare and share donation reports and feedback for each parish programme and diocesan appeal.
• Review and analyse reports to gain insights into donor behaviour and improve future fundraising activity.
• Develop and implement a simple legacy strategy
• Work collaboratively with the Senior Fundraiser and Trust Fundraiser to explore and develop other fundraising income streams.
• Research and keep abreast of industry activity and trends.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the department/ diocese.

• extensive corporate fundraising experience and a proven track record of securing six - and seven-figure partnerships

• the ability to develop and implement long-term successful strategies that achieve fundraising targets

• proven leadership and people development skills, with experience in managing, motivating and coaching multi-disciplinary teams

• strong influencing, collaboration, relationship-building skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade effectively at all levels
