Location: The contract for the role is London-based – it means that while you can be working anywhere in the UK, you are responsible for the cost of your travel to the London-based office. On a regular basis we ask everyone to be in the office once a month for team day and every other month for Finance and Resources Team Day. Other meetings will happen that will also require in-person presence, but we can’t specify now how frequent they might be.

As TLG positions itself as a leading practitioner in therapeutic coaching, this leader will bring a solid understanding of coaching practice and how therapeutic coaching can transform a young person’s thinking and strengthen the culture of support we offer. The Sheppard Trust provides homes for older women in housing need, and we support them to live independently.  We reduce loneliness and isolation by fostering a supportive community spirit. 

We're planning to move to brand-new, purpose built accommodation near Hampton Court village in Surrey.   Whilst we wait for the build to complete, 20 of our existing residents are temporarily housed in Mill Hill, with 4 housed in Greenford.  Their new homes are expected to be ready in July 2026.   The aim of this role is to support these residents before, during and after our move, as well as to plan, organise and deliver the logistics of the moves.

We're a small friendly team who are currently flexibly hybrid working.  This role is based on 21 hours a week, with two visits per week to Mill Hill and occasional visits to Greenford and Hampton Court.  The rest of the work could be carried out from home if desired.  From July to September when the moves take place the workload will be higher and more on-site attendance may be necessary on move days.   

The right appointment is important to us, so we're willing to discuss proposals for alternative working arrangements including adding additional responsibilities to create a full time role. There will be the opportunity to apply for permanent positions at the  new site if wished.

London National Park City is looking for an organised and adaptable Administration Manager to join our small staff team. This permanent role is essential to strengthening the infrastructure that enables our volunteer Ranger community and partner groups to make neighbourhoods across London greener, healthier and wilder.

As our Administration Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our organisation – managing our CRM and internal systems, maintaining policies and procedures, and ensuring our staff and 150+ volunteer Rangers have seamless access to the information and resources they need. You'll work across all areas of our operation, from supporting Ranger onboarding and events to assisting with Board meetings and partner communications.

London became the world's first National Park City in 2019, and we are a long-term grassroots movement connecting people and nature across the capital. This role offers the opportunity to help scale our impact, fixing what needs fixing and structuring our work so more communities can take the lead in transforming their local areas.

You'll be an experienced administrator who excels at managing multiple information sources, planning ahead, and making smart decisions about systems and processes. You'll be disciplined and organised with excellent communication skills, but also creative and willing to chip in wherever needed.

• Provide regular updates to our staff team and Ranger community on your projects and activities, and overall progress on our programme goals.

Candidate Profile

We’re looking for an organised, thoughtful and considerate colleague who will help us better support our Ranger community, and extend the reach and effectiveness of our staff team.

You will have the following experience:

• Experience in an equivalent administration or operations role, or demonstrable experience of transferable skills.

• Experience working with an online CRM system, such as Monday or Hubspot, as well as proficiency with Google Drive or other office applications.

• Demonstrable experience of supporting a small distributed staff team, and working with volunteers will be a distinct advantage.

• An ability to communicate and coordinate with a wide range of people at all levels of a variety of organisations.

• Excellent oral and written communication in a clear, concise, accessible and effective manner.

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

• Ability to effectively plan and prioritise workload within deadlines, and to set and meet high standards of delivery.

Salary and benefits

You will be joining and fully participating in a unique and inspirational community of changemakers and storytellers, active across London and increasingly around the world. We pay all of our staff at least the London Living Wage.

This is a permanent role and the salary range is £30,000 to £34,000 dependent on experience. This may be a part or full-time role and we are open to applications for flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for an experienced, people-oriented project manager who is excited to help us deliver and scale innovative data programmes. You will work directly with organisations from across the third sector to understand their missions and translate their challenges into well-scoped projects. You will also support teams of volunteer data experts to scope projects and deliver impactful data science solutions.

You don't need to write code or run analysis yourself, but you should be comfortable working alongside technical experts, asking the right questions to scope data projects, and translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll need to hold conversations with data scientists about what's feasible, help charity partners understand what's possible with their data, and know when to bring in additional technical expertise.

Working hours and location 

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week); however we will consider part-time options (28 or 32 hours per week) for a strong candidate. Working hours are flexible, but we ask that 75% of working time is within the hours of 10am and 6pm, to facilitate team working and real-time collaboration.

The role requires regular out-of-hours commitments - roughly one weekend per quarter and 2-4 evenings per month for volunteer events. This work is part of, rather than additional to, your hours, and you must take time off in lieu for any extra working hours.

Our organisation is remote-first, and this role is hybrid, with access to London office space on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and quarterly in-person commitments in London. We have a preference for candidates able to work from our office space in London at least one day per week. Overview

Involve Community Services is a local infrastructure charity that supports the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sectors of Bracknell Forest and Wokingham Borough. We offer development and governance support, funding advice, grant writing, volunteer and trustee recruitment, and a comprehensive training programme. We also run several well-being projects that include Community Navigation, Cancer Support and Social Prescribing within Wokingham Borough.

Role summary

The Community Development Worker will work across Wokingham Borough to assist small charities, community groups and social enterprises who have a health and well-being focus, as well as those organisations who aid residents with protected characteristics. They will assist organisations to find solutions to existing challenges and overcome barriers to optimise their delivery, e.g., through sourcing volunteers, committee members, funding opportunities, forming simple governance structures, and seeking premises.

The post holder will advocate for members of the community with protected characteristics as well as those whose voices are seldom heard, and act as a voice for marginalised groups, to aid inclusive decision making and delivery of services across the borough. • Support Community Navigation attending outreach events
• Report key barriers and gaps in services to the CEO and Admin & Partnerships Manager on a regular basis
• Keep the Wellbeing Services up to date with new or changing community groups & services
• Support the Hub Coordinator and fellow site users when onsite

Key responsibilities for the community and VCS organisation

• Network and maintain relationships with residents, communities, charitable organisations and other stakeholders
• Host Involve’s Charity & Community Networking Events for Wokingham Borough
• Match organisations and community groups with share objectives so to bring greater capacity and insight to a community undertaking
• Attend forums & meetings relevant to communities, addressing issues such as equality & diversity, social isolation or community safety
• Support organisations and community groups with basic governance enquiries
• Ensure organisations receive up to date and accessible information & signposting to assist them with their operations, e.g. governance, funding, volunteer recruitment

• Knowledge of the local area and services
• Experience in engaging and advocating for vulnerable people and those with protected characteristics, and those seldom heard
• Good interpersonal skills - friendly, curious, respectful, empathetic and courteous

• Access to a car (with business insurance) is essential as travel will be required across Wokingham Borough
