The Nook, Greenwich is a peer support project aiming to provide a safe and welcoming space for young people living in the Royal Borough of Greenwich (or those who have a GP within the borough) to connect with other young adults who have experienced mental health challenges.
We are recruiting a sessional Young Person's Peer Support Worker to co-lead the development and delivery of The Nook alongside our Peer Support Coordinator and a team of volunteers.
You will work with Peer Support Volunteers to plan and co-facilitate the groups in line with service user needs. You will have experience of group development, psychoeducation, collaborative working across service teams and an excellent understanding of service user engagement particularly with young people. You will be highly organised and be proficient with case management tasks and project management administration and take an active role in creating partnerships.
Groups will be held at the University of Greenwich premises and will run every week until March 2027, with hope of an extension of contract. We particularly want to increase engagement of under-served communities in Greenwich.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

The Volunteer Coordinator (Nag’s Head Farm) will lead the recruitment, administration and support of volunteers for Camp Jojo’s Cumbria camps. As the main point of contact throughout the volunteer journey, they will manage applications, maintain databases, coordinate communications and ensure volunteers are successfully placed at camp.
Working closely with the Operations Manager and supported by the experienced team at Ivy Farm, Essex, the role also includes providing administrative support and attending volunteer-related meetings. As we prepare to celebrate our 135th anniversary, we're looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Coordinator to help shape and grow our volunteer programme across our Solihull and Wolverhampton centres.
Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. In this role, you'll recruit, support and inspire people who generously give their time to help dogs in our care. From welcoming new volunteers and coordinating training to building relationships with local organisations and supporting corporate volunteering days, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and rewarding volunteering experience.
Working closely with the Head of Income Generation, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of our volunteer programme, helping to ensure our volunteers feel valued, supported and equipped to make a real difference.
About You
We're looking for someone with experience of coordinating or managing volunteers, who enjoys working with people and building lasting relationships.
You will be organised, confident in managing a varied workload and comfortable working across multiple sites. You will enjoy motivating others, bringing people together and finding practical solutions that help both volunteers and colleagues.
An excellent communicator, you will build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, whether you're welcoming a new volunteer, supporting an existing team member or developing partnerships with local organisations and businesses.
Most importantly, you'll understand the value that volunteers bring to Birmingham Dogs Home and be passionate about creating an environment where they feel appreciated and motivated to continue making a difference.

About the Role

As Volunteer Coordinator, you'll oversee the entire volunteer journey, from attraction and recruitment through to onboarding, development, engagement and recognition. You'll be the central point of contact for volunteers across the organisation, ensuring they have a positive and rewarding experience while helping us continue to expand and strengthen our volunteer programme.
