About the role

As the Face-to-Face Acquisition Manager, you will manage Save the Children UK's F2F fundraising programme, supporting our agency partners to achieve outstanding results. Working with the Head of Direct Engagement and accountable for the day-to-day task management of two executives you will build strong relationships and drive ambitious results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment bringing both fundraising and operational expertise to the role.

You will provide a positive and safe working environment for the fundraisers that represent us, ensuring agreed standards and behaviours are met and that agencies are inspired to work on behalf Save the Children UK.

You will have a genuine passion for F2F fundraising and the drive and determination to make a difference to the sector as a part of the wider global F2F team.

In this role, you will:

• Drive the success of the face-to-face agency programmes, ensuring channels are performing against agreed KPIs and target.
• Manage a team to deliver results.
• Manage the relationship with agencies, and third-party suppliers to deliver fundraising Programmes to budget.
• Accountability for the best practice face-to-face compliance and safeguarding programme conducting personal site visits and mystery shops, ensuring excellent standards & transparency across all channels.
• Drive the development and delivery of creative, engaging fundraising materials across channels, optimising delivery and maximise performance and motivation.
• Adapt campaign delivery, analysing operational and fundraising effectiveness through a data-led test and learn approach.
• Adhere to Institute of Fundraising's Code of Practice and relevant laws and keep up-to-date with developments within the sector and share learnings.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to strengthen operational systems and mechanisms to support individual fundraising.

Job Description

Purpose of the role

The Legal Officer will play a key role in supporting ILPA’s legal and policy work on immigration, economic migration, asylum and nationality law.

Working under the direction of the Director of Policy and Advocacy, the post holder will engage in detailed legal and policy analysis, support parliamentary and influencing activity, support legal project delivery, and contribute to high-quality information and engagement for ILPA members. The Legal Officer will need to work reliably and flexibly across a broad range of legal and policy issues, often at short notice.

The Legal Officer will also work with the Director of Strategic Litigation and Advice where legal policy and strategic litigation intersect.

Key responsibilities

1. Legal and policy analysis

• Produce high-quality analysis of immigration, economic migration, asylum and nationality law and policy.
• Monitor developments in legislation, case law and policy, including secondary legislation and guidance.
• Prepare written briefings, updates and summaries for members, trustees and external stakeholders.
• Support the Director of Policy & Advocacy in the development and delivery of ILPA’s legal strategy.

2. Parliamentary and influencing work

• Support ILPA’s parliamentary work, including monitoring legislation and parliamentary business.
• Draft consultation responses, briefings and evidence submissions.
• Assist in engagement with parliamentarians, officials, peers and external organisations.
• Support the organisation of meetings and briefings with MPs, peers, civil servants and sector partners.
• Contribute to ILPA’s influencing activity through written and oral advocacy.

3. Member engagement and sector support

• Liaise with ILPA members to gather evidence and practice insight to inform policy positions.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker to join our Domestic Abuse team based at our office in Southampton. This role is fully office based and regular travel throughout Hampshire will be required.

About the Role

As a Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to them explaining our services, and assessing the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate & confidential case records on a bespoke case management system
• Make calls to offer support to victims of domestic abuse, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer
• Work as part of a team with staff and the volunteer team to provide a seamless service to clients

About You

You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.

We are seeking a motivated Income Generation Support Officer specialising in fundraising to support the Management Committe and CEO. In this vital role, you will play a key part in supporting our organisation’s efforts to increase income.

Primary Objectives of the Post:

The role of the Income Generation Support Officer involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at increasing the organisation's income from various sources.

Purpose of the Job:

This post plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organisation's fundraising efforts are relevant, successful and aligned with our financial objectives.

To ensure that the quality of the Network’s work is maintained and developed in line with Network’s Values and Philosophy.

To contribute to the maintenance and development of effective communication throughout the organisation.

The postholder will support the Management Committee, CEO and Office Manager by conducting initial research, maintaining fundraising data, and handling administrative duties related to grant applications and other fundraising activities.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Research and apply for grants: Research trusts, foundations and other funding streams - identifying specific grant criteria, deadlines, and alignment with our work.

2. Build relationships with funders: Cultivate and nurture relationships with donors, foundations, and funding bodies.

3. Write and manage applications: Assist in drafting grant applications and collating necessary documents (financials, safeguarding policies, etc.) ensuring they are high quality, clear, concise, and impactful.

4. Develop and support fundraising activities: Assist with community-based fundraising activities, including event planning and stewardship.

5. Collaborate with WSUN staff: Work closely with our team to gather insights and data for creating compelling proposals/applications.

6. Data Management: keep accurate, up-to-date records of donor/grant contact information, application stages, and reporting dates.

7. Develop and maintain our “Case for Support: analysing need, interpreting results and using evaluation reports to inform future fundraising strategies and content.

8. Maintaining quality and integrity - ensuring that all income generation activities are conducted in a transparent and responsible manner.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet provides much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems.

The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. They champion individual's voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high-quality information, advice, and advocacy support.

The Forensic Advocate will provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. The role will ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient's forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one-to-one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver High-Quality Patient Advocacy: Provide professional, inclusive advocacy to inpatients and community-based clients, ensuring their rights are upheld and concerns are addressed through direct support, representation at clinical meetings, and regular engagement.
• Maintain Casework and Service Standards: Manage an active caseload, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping, compliance with legal frameworks (e.g. Mental Health Act), and adherence to organisational standards and procedures.
• Develop Collaborative Partnerships and Outreach: Build effective relationships with ward staff, carers, peer advocates, and external agencies, coordinate monthly outreach clinics, and contribute to forums and community meetings to promote service integration.
• Support Training, Development, and Service Improvement: Co-develop training for peer advocates, staff, and carers, promote self-advocacy, participate in service development, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.

The successful candidate will have some experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy role, as well as working in an Inpatient setting, and in an Advocacy role. You will have good knowledge of Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.

You also be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills
• Ability to produce well -written reports and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly and assertively with a diverse range of colleagues and clients at all levels
• Be self-motivated
• Approachable and able to engage service users, placing boundaries when required
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office & Database Packages

This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations, covering six roles each with a 2nd advocate.

Forest House Education Centre (FHEC) is a hospital school for 13-17-year-old pupils, attached to the Forest House Adolescent Unit, a Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient facility on the Kingsley Green hospital site. The Centre provides education for the patients occupying the Adolescent Unit's sixteen beds, while additionally being the sole educator for eight 'day pupils' who are referred by Hertfordshire County Council through ESMA (the LA's tutorial service for pupils who are out of mainstream education for medical reasons).

The Service Manager at Forest House Education Centre will work closely with Trust leaders to effectively manage the day to day provision of the service.

The candidate’s key role will include liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration between ESMA, Forest House Adolescent Unit, base schools, pupils and their families and professionals involved in the care and education of our pupils; to ensure the best outcomes for all those at FHEC; attend multi-agency meetings as necessary and work in conjunction with the Trust staff to ensure that all aspects of the SLA (service level agreement) are met.
