About Axiom Maths
Axiom Maths is a maths education charity on a mission to help every child with the heart and head for maths realise the potential of their power - especially those whose potential is too often held back by disadvantage. Every year 30,000 children who were top performers at the end of primary school don’t go on to get top GCSE grades in maths. We aim to change that by partnering with schools across England and Wales to run fully-funded in-school or online maths circles. This is an exciting chance to share your passion for maths, challenge young minds and nurture mathematical talent in your local community.

You will typically lead a minimum of 3 maths circles per week, where available. You will be working with our regional School Partnerships team who will support with the schools you are working in and keep you connected with what is happening across the region. Your schools will have a designated contact who will offer insights and guidance to help your maths circles thrive. There are no mandatory set hours, but the role is best suited to candidates available between 3:00pm-5pm on at least 3 weekdays. You can indicate any regular unavailability in your application.
Applications: Please note, your application must include the video submission to be considered.
The duties of this role include
Prepare for each session: Watch the introductory video, work through the problems yourself, read the guidance notes and think about how you'll draw the maths out of your pupils.
Lead the Axiom Maths curriculum: Lead sessions that spark curiosity, stretch thinking, and challenge and inspire.
Build a community of mathematicians: Help pupils see themselves as mathematicians and feel part of a larger network of like-minded peers supporting each other
Develop in-school connections: Work closely with in-school staff to tailor your maths circle to their school context and to meet pupil needs
Reporting and feedback:
• Report weekly on pupils' attendance and share feedback on curriculum resources so we can keep improving them together

About Alongside
Alongside is the new name for Julian House. We work with people experiencing social exclusion across the South and West of England, providing outreach, accommodation and support. Our clients may be sleeping rough, fleeing abuse, rebuilding after trauma, leaving prison, recovering from addiction, or trying to settle safely in a new community. Whatever their starting point, we work alongside people to help build safety, stability and independence.
If you'd like a real sense of job satisfaction, great career prospects and a competitive benefits package, you could be who we're looking for!
About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic leader to oversee our supported accommodation services across Devon, ensuring the delivery of consistently high quality, safe and person-centred accommodation.
The role will take responsibility for several discrete projects. Included in this portfolio are 23 units for medium support need clients. You will be responsible for at least 4 members of staff. This role will ensure the safe running of these 23 units across 10 properties located in Exeter.
In this role, you'll take the lead in delivering high-quality, person-centred support. From maintaining health & safety standards to working closely with referral agencies and maximising occupancy, you'll be at the heart of creating a stable and supportive environment for those who need it most.
If you're ready to make a real impact and be part of a team that changes lives, we’d love to hear from you!
What you'll be doing
Please note: Job descriptions are not exhaustive, and the successful candidate may occasionally be asked to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the responsibilities of the role.
