• Be a qualified Solicitor - we are open to newly qualified candidates with a demonstrable interest in social justice, as well as those who have 3+ years PQE and a strong track record in housing law and Legal Aid work
• Deliver high-quality legal advice and representation under our work as part of the Housing Loss Prevention Service, which provides free legal advice and court representation to anyone at risk of losing their home.

About the Service

The Complex Needs Housing Service works as a multi-disciplinary team with housing teams and Drug and Alcohol Services across District and Borough councils. These teams will be working with individuals who are presenting as homeless and have a number of Complex Needs.

The objectives of the Complex Needs Housing Service are to:

• Improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health.
• Increase early access to help for people experiencing mental ill health in, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by Herts Mind Network and other third sector and statutory providers.
• Contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• Remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• Reduce the use of police, ASB, tenancy enforcement, housing needs and environmental health services by clients whose primary need is related to mental ill health.
• Reduce the use of crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.
• Provide an assertive outreach approach for clients who are in crisis and/ or those that may have complex or multiple needs.
• Work collaboratively within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) consisting of Change Grow Live (CGL), District and Borough councils, housing teams and other professionals.

About the Role

The purpose of the Hertfordshire Mind Network Community Outreach Worker role is to:

• To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients who are experiencing mental ill health or need support with their mental wellbeing. These will be clients who are presenting to District and Borough councils as homeless and need intervention and support with their mental health and housing.
• To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• Embed a person-centred recovery orientated and trauma informed approach in all aspects of the roles.

The Organisation

The Role

We are looking for an Accommodation Adviser for our team based in HMP Lincoln, to provide tailored accommodation support to men both in custody and under probation supervision within the community and helping reintegrate into a life outside the justice system.

About the role 

You will complete an Initial Needs Assessment (INA) with each client, having a detailed discussion with them to outline their situation and the support they need. We use a strengths-based approach to identify the positive attributes that they can build upon to achieve their goals and these are reflected in the design of the INA. Working together with your client, you will map out and agree a set of interventions and the outcomes needed, encouraging and empowering them to actively contribute towards their goals.

You will carry a fluctuating case load of service users with varying levels of needs. The focus of the service is to support the desistance model, supporting individuals to achieve their full potential.

The position will be based in HMP Lincoln, with other locations and travel expected when needed across the National Probation Service Region in Lincolnshire.

About You

You have considerable experience of advocating for clients to agencies and authorities, along with a track record of successful outcomes and challenging when needed. You can adapt complex information into practical plans and proactively manage your caseload. Motivating and encouraging your clients will be a key part of the role, as well the ability to build rapport, trust and actively listen to their needs. As you will be working closely with clients, a sound understanding of professional boundaries is crucial.

About the role:

As an IDVA you will:-

• Ensure that male survivors' safety and housing needs are met by supporting survivors to access safe accommodation
• Provide a pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic abuse through on-going risk assessment, individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
• Promote the service and raising awareness of issues arising, minimising barriers and improving access to support

You will need:

• Experience of providing support those affected by domestic abuse
• An understanding of the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
• Knowledge of safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
• A good understanding of Housing Law to be able to provide up to date advice and information on housing related needs
• Strong communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals.
• An understanding of commitment to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.
• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

As a Dementia Adviser, you'll build and maintain trusted relationships across the community, becoming a familiar and supportive presence for people navigating what can be one of the most difficult times of their lives. You'll play a key role in running and engaging in group activities — including our much-loved Singing for the Brain sessions and Lived Experience groups — creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can connect, share, and feel less alone. You'll also be responsible for keeping detailed and accurate records of your work, updating our CRM system with confidential notes to ensure the highest standard of care and continuity for every person we support. Whether you're reaching out to people by phone, or facilitating a group, every interaction matters —
and you'll be there to make it count.
What you’ll need:

- Ability to travel across the Leicestershire area.
- Understanding and knowledge of dementia and the impact it has on individuals carers and families.
- Ability to support people to maintain their independence, improve their sense of well-being, and help them take more control of their lives.
- Experience with communicating with a wide range of people, adapting your approach to ensure understanding at all levels.
- Great organisational and timekeeping skills.
- Able to represent the needs of the organisation and clients externally.
- Good IT skills, experience working with client / patient databases and meeting software (Teams / Zoom).

You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to car that can be used for work purposes. A creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder with have good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also, experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.

We are seeking a faith-filled Christian leader who is passionate about bringing hope to youth and children, and who will lead on mission and discipleship across West Derby Deanery as part of our Youth and Children’s Hub strategy, which is in its early stages of development.
