About the role

The Lotus Project:

The Lotus Project is a new service within Calan DVS which has been co-produced with survivors and stakeholders.  The new service has been implemented to support individuals who are accessing Calan Domestic Abuse services and who have also experienced Sexual Violence.

The service will operate from a trauma informed, strengths based perspective in order to ensure each survivor has consistent yet individualised support throughout their recovery journey.

Each survivor who accesses the service will have the opportunity to receive specialist support through our Sexual Violence Counselling service, tailor made group work program and one to one support.  Survivors will have regular strength based goal setting sessions with their Sexual Violence Support Worker.

Consultations and collaborative working are at the heart of working in a trauma informed way, therefore the Lotus Project will continue to be developed alongside the support staff and survivors who access the service.

Can you help us?

We are looking for a creative, proactive events professional to help us build on our existing events offer. You will lead a small team to develop and deliver the College’s events programme, including our annual conference, to increase engagement with the sexual and reproductive healthcare community and raise the College’s profile with new and existing audiences. 

The role:

Events management

• Works with the wider CoSRH team, including members of the College, to develop an annual events programme to meet our educational responsibilities, provide networking and membership growth opportunities and raise the profile of the College
• Works with and supports members and staff through project groups to deliver events (digital, in-person and hybrid), including programme design, speaker and stakeholder liaison, logistics, and evaluation
• Works closely with the Marketing and Digital teams, develops project timelines for events and conferences ensuring clear definitions of roles and responsibilities for delivery of projects 
• Selects and manages all technology and systems required to deliver remote/digital events, including sourcing, selection, implementation, and management of CoSRH hosting and communications platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom) as well as subscription management and linkage with external organisation systems where required
• Manages technical set-up for events as well as providing technical support during events
• Ensures timely distribution of digital event materials, ensuring appropriate video editing has taken place
• Leads development, implementation and review of policies, processes, and procedures to enable remote/digital delivery of events

Key stakeholder and third-party management

• Manage relationships with suppliers, including venue finders, webinar suppliers, designers and printers, to ensure events are well-run, cost-effective and delivered to budget
• Leads formal tendering process for event suppliers, and engagement of external suppliers of events services (including digital technology services)
• Alongside the Head of Business Development, identifies and works with sponsors and exhibitors to develop tailored packages that deliver value for them and for delegates
• Leads on evaluation of events and applies insight to improve member experience and delegate journey

Budget management

• Manages events budget and provides regular feedback to the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that all events are delivered to budget, and that all new budget requirements are factored in to future plans
• Establishes and tracks targets, objectives and KPIs to improve event performance, including cost management, supplier negotiation, ROI and margins

You will be:

Sydenham Garden is seeking a Community Activities & Volunteering Lead on a Fixed term contract to end of December 2027 to join our team of 14 staff and approximately 70 volunteers in delivering adult mental health and dementia services in our beautiful garden settings in south-east London. 

Position: Community Activities & Volunteering Lead

The Role

A rare opportunity has arisen and we are expanding our Fiduciary Team. We are seeking to appoint a Fiduciary Risk Manager to join our established Fiduciary Risk team working on the financial management of funds and grants awarded to new and existing grantees. 

MannionDaniels seeks a Fiduciary Risk Manager to support the management of two funding rounds under the GSMA Innovation Fund:

· Mobile For Humanitarian funding round

· Impactful AI funding round

The fund works with tech start-ups Africa and Asia utilizing AI and mobile solutions for humanitarian impact. MannionDaniels have been contracted by GSMA to deliver this funding mechanism and works alongside the grant team in GSMA.

Within these two funding rounds, all grants have already been contracted and are in operation.  The role will primarily involve the management of a small portfolio of grantees, and leadership of a team of 2 Fiduciary Risk Officers who will manage grants covering the rest of the portfolio.

The Fund is funded by UK Aid from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and is supported by the GSMA and its members.

Reporting to the GSMA Team Lead, you will lead the management of the financial side of the grants and mitigating fiduciary risks. Experienced in financial review and reporting, you will conduct due diligence and use financial analysis to provide accurate, financial reports.

About you

You will be a Graduate with a minimum of 8 years’ experience or have comparable experience in a financial/fiduciary role and, be able to competently demonstrate the following.

• Lead on management of the Fund Manager’s portfolio in the GSMA Innovation Fund for Impactful AI and Mobil for Humanitarian
• Lead the financial side of the grant closure process
• Provide technical support for the grant management teams ensuring budget templates and financial reporting processes are understood and adhered to.
• Provide leadership to two Fiduciary Risk Officers.
