The nuts and bolts of the job:
· The essence of this role is making sure the wonderful people who fundraise in our community are so well nurtured they’ll want to carry on supporting us for years to come. Your focus will be community groups, as well as all areas of community fundraising and beyond.
· You’ll be out and about in the local area, meeting, thanking, speaking publicly, telling stories and spreading the word about the vital work Claire House does.
· We absolutely treasure our volunteers and you will to. You’ll be in this job for less than a week before you’ll be thanking your lucky stars for the legends who give up their time to help us be in multiple places at once. Looking after their needs is an important part of the role because their success is yours too.
· We do our best to make decisions that are backed up by good quality information (data and insight) which helps keep us on the right track. It’s important you have a keen interest in this too. Keeping on top of supporter journeys ensures they get the warm glow they deserve.
· Being able to drive is absolutely crucial to this role, as is the freedom to work some evenings and weekends.

About the Project
PKD Scotland: Outreach and Community Connections Project.
It is estimated that around 5,000 people in Scotland could be living with Polycystic Kidney
Disease. It is however often poorly understood and historically underfunded, meaning people
can leave clinic after diagnosis with little support beyond medical appointments. Many tell us
they don't know where to turn for emotional support or to meet others living with the same
condition. We want to change that and with support from a National lottery Awards for All grant
that is exactly what we are going to do.
The eighteen-month project will see us reach into hospitals across Scotland to try and ensure
that no one with PKD in Scotland has to manage their journey on their own. From diagnosis
onwards we want all to be aware of the charity, the array of services that we offer and foster
engagement. Two new volunteer led support groups will be established and a group of
ambassadors recruited to support the ongoing connections we make to ensure that PKD
remains in the spotlight.
As our Scotland PKD Engagement Officer you will be central to the success of the project.
Many people only reach us years after diagnosis, often when symptoms worsen, but we know
that early connection can make a real difference. PKD is lifelong and people face new
challenges at every stage. Having support around them helps them stay confident, informed

About The Role
As PKD’s Scotland Engagement Officer, you will play a central role in delivering this ambitious
outreach project.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will raise awareness of the PKD Charity and its services,
ensuring that people diagnosed with PKD are informed about available support from the earliest
possible stage.
You will build and nurture relationships with NHS professionals and services across Scotland,
helping embed PKD Charity information and resources into patient pathways. Alongside this, you
will work closely with volunteers to establish two new PKD support groups and develop an

ABOUT BRIDGING & BELONGING
We have completed Stage 1 of Bridging & Belonging, which involved a series of local listening events. What we heard was clear: people in North Kirklees want more chances to connect with one another and to shape what happens in their neighbourhoods, using their own ideas, skills and experience to make a positive difference.
We are now moving into Stage 2, a four-year project funded through the National Lottery Community Fund’s Reaching Communities programme. This phase will strengthen neighbourliness, reduce division, and support community-led action that builds stronger, more connected communities. It is rooted in asset-based community development and creative, participatory community organising, with a focus on helping local people start, grow and sustain social action that brings people together across lines of difference.
Bridging & Belonging is already established, you will join a project with strong foundations, trusted relationships and a clear direction. Working alongside colleagues, residents and local partners, you will help shape the next phase of the project while keeping local people at the heart of its priorities and activities.
Over the coming years, the work will support community-led action that strengthens neighbourliness and hyper-local connection, creates new ways for people to connect across communities, and develops projects built around shared interests, shared places and shared concerns. It will also back activity that celebrates local strengths, makes space for difference, and builds a stronger sense of belonging.

The Basics
Our training programme is growing and we need someone to own it — not follow our process, but develop it further. That means new courses, an institutional offer, and growing the number of people we reach. You'll be shaping how the sector learns to communicate and building something with a real community behind it.

Cast from Clay is a communications consultancy for those who work on policy change. Most good ideas in the world of policy never make it to the desk of a decision-maker. That’s where we come in.
Our training program – including courses like Communicate to Persuade and Generative AI for Policy Communicators – is a key part of how we help the sector get their ideas unstuck. We want to grow this offer, but we need someone to own the engine behind it. You can find out more about our courses on our website.
The role
As Training Programme Lead, you will be responsible for:
Growth: Owning the programme's growth strategy, including building an institutional offer for think tanks, foundations, funders, and NGOs.
Marketing: Running the promotion of our public courses across social channels and professional networks to hit recruitment targets.
Operations: Managing the student journey, from onboarding and payments to platform management (LMS).
Development: Working with our course leaders to spot new opportunities and expand what we offer.
Community: Keeping our alumni community engaged and supported alongside the wider team.
This is a 2 day per week commitment (with opportunity to increase the time as the programme grows).
Who you are
You’ll be someone who knows the world of foundations and non-profits well, you’ve probably worked in a few. Ideally, you’ve got a sense of the kinds of skills that these organisations need to develop (and that a communications consultancy could train on). You’ll also be comfortable in a marketing and sales context, able to argue why an organisation should invest in our training platform, and what benefit it will provide to them.
You will be:
Intellectually curious: You care about how ideas impact the world
Commercially minded: You have experience in business development or selling professional services
A self-starter: You can take a brief and run with it with very little hand-holding
Facilitation experience: You've run workshops or trainings before and can hold a room.
Marketing expertise: You understand how to promote a programme, how to build an audience across professional networks, and when to bring in additional expertise (e.g. SEO, PPC specialists)
Tech-literate: You’re comfortable managing digital platforms, payments, and comms tools. Experience with Howspace is an advantage.

Holy Trinity Church (HT) is a vibrant, growing church in the centre of Cambridge with a lively and expanding children and families ministry. In the three years before lockdown, the children’s ministry – HT Kids – doubled in size, and the growth has continued post lockdown. We have 180 children aged 0–11 who regularly attend on a Sunday and over 95 families who call HT their spiritual home. The vision of HT Kids is to see children come to know Jesus for themselves and grow in all that he has for them. We also want to see kids joyfully inviting friends to meet Jesus for themselves. We have over 50 volunteers from the church family – young people, undergraduates, and adults – who serve regularly to help make that vision a reality.
Alongside the Senior Children’s Pastor, you will be responsible for pastoring the children aged 0–Year 2 with their families, for bringing hands-on leadership to the wider team involved in HT Kids and to reach out to children and families in Cambridge who don’t yet know Jesus. A major part of this role will be managing staff and volunteers to increase their confidence and fruitfulness as they work with children. You will be a leader of leaders, with a heart to invest in and facilitate the ministry of others.

The Brent Centre for Young People
The Brent Centre for Young People (BCYP) is the leading mental health charity for young people in Northwest London, helping over 800 young people a year with a wide range of issues. We offer specialised treatment in the areas of depression, suicide prevention, self-harm, eating disorders, exam anxiety and more. Our approach is rooted in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. We aim to reach significantly more young people in the years ahead, drawing on our heritage that combines specialist treatment in-house and outreach into communities. The Brent Centre is also an important Research Centre on Adolescent Breakdown and Psychotherapy.
The Role
As HR Officer, you will play a role in bringing structure, consistency and clarity to Brent Centre’s HR processes. You will deliver practical, people-focused support across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment, onboarding to contract changes, developing and updating organisational policies, helping to strengthen and develop how HR supports colleagues across the organisation.
Working closely with the Administration and Finance Manager, you will act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, ensuring they are handled promptly, accurately and in line with Brent Centre’s values. You will support colleagues and managers to use HR systems effectively, interpret and apply policies correctly, and follow clear, consistent processes. You will maintain accurate information across our HR systems (Bright HR and SharePoint HR Intranet) and ensure HR data is complete, compliant and up to date.
