The Wise Group is a leading social enterprise working to lift people out of poverty.  St Giles and The Wise Group came together to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency.  As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Personal Wellbeing Services for North and South Wales. These services will involve a range of support to community offenders and prison leavers including families, emotional wellbeing, lifestyle and associates and social inclusion (including meet at the gates).

About this exciting opportunity

Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison.  You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales.  Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
• L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent
• The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
• An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
• Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written

We are looking for a committed and recovery‑driven Community Engagement Practitioner to join the Personality Disorders (PD) Pathway within the Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Service. This specialist multidisciplinary team delivers psychological support to individuals with complex emotional and interpersonal needs.

In this role, you will support people to build meaningful, connected lives beyond formal services by strengthening community links, guiding recovery planning, and encouraging personal empowerment. The pathway draws on Structured Clinical Management (SCM), Mentalisation‑Based Therapy (MBT), and a range of other evidence‑based approaches to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care.

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. Here's what the team will be looking for:

The team will be seeking candidates who demonstrate a solid foundation in mental health care, ideally holding NVQ Level 4 or equivalent experience. They value individuals with a clear understanding of recovery principles, peer support, and the ability to work effectively with service users and external agencies. Familiarity with multidisciplinary team functions, care planning, risk assessment, and knowledge of the Mental Health Act and local resources will be essential. Strong communication and group facilitation skills, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure and act professionally, are highly regarded. Candidates should be able to build positive therapeutic relationships while maintaining boundaries, work independently as well as collaboratively, and provide practical support that adapts to changing needs. Competence in IT systems and record-keeping, particularly RIO, and the ability to serve as a positive, caring role model will round out the qualities the team is looking for.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.18pm.

About the role:

Lead the Scheme Oversight function to ensure the Motability Scheme consistently delivers choice, value for money and excellent customer service for disabled people. The role includes setting the Oversight strategy, developing the Scheme’s performance management framework, reporting on performance to internal/external parties and assisting/managing key stakeholder relationships across Motability Foundation, Motability Operations and Government departments. 

What you will be doing:

Policy and Planning: 

• Monitor UK Government policy and proposals with material impact on the Scheme; coordinate Motability’s position and implications for Oversight. 

• Lead annual Oversight strategy refresh and contribute to Motability’s Strategic Plan. 

• Chair (or deputise for Director at) Scheme Oversight governance forums and ensure well‑prepared agendas, papers and decisions flow to Governors and SOC. 

• Undertake ad hoc projects to develop Motability or Scheme services as required. 

Governance & Performance Monitoring: 

• Manage the contractual relationship between Motability Foundation and its service providers in a collaborative manner. 

• Own the Oversight performance framework (KPIs, targets, thresholds) and coordinate performance reporting activities to provide monthly updates to key stakeholders. 

• Lead operational reviews of Motability Operations’ delivery, commissioning deep dives where issues or opportunities are identified. 

• Sponsor customer satisfaction and experience measurement across Scheme services, ensuring findings inform improvements. 

Leadership: 

• Act as a liaison between Motability Foundation and Motability Operations, ensuring collaborative & effective oversight. 

• Own key relationships within the Motability Operations executive leadership, Motability Foundation 

• Board and key Government officials.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a receptionist to work within the Harris Federation Head Office, undertaking Reception and other administrative duties within the CEO's team.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and receiving all visitors to Head Office in a professional manner, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and Health & Safety protocols
• Operating the telephone switchboard, directing calls to appropriate departments or staff members, taking messages, and responding promptly to enquiries from parents/carers and the public

Housing Partner (Housing Officer)

About the role

Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service, our Housing Partners (Housing Officers) are the first point of contact for our customers.

You’ll be a visible presence in your patch, ensuring the effective management and maintenance of tenancies. Moving into a new home is an exciting life experience and your role will have a positive influence on our customer journey from the moment we onboard new tenants.

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan, so you’ll also support customers to manage their rent accounts (including taking cases to court as a last resort), manage anti-social behaviour utilising a multi-agency approach as required, resolve customer complaints effectively and use appropriate legal remedies to ensure tenancies are ended efficiently and in line with legal and regulatory requirements when necessary.

You’ll develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners and build strong community bonds to make moments that matter every day.

Salary

The Housing Partner (Housing Officer) role offers a salary of£36,162 per annum for candidates who fully meet the role requirements.

If you're still developing in some areas, we’ll support your growth with a starting salary just 5% or 10% below the spot rate, depending on experience.

You’ll also receive an essential user car allowance starting from £1,250 per annum plus milage for travel around your patch - helping you stay mobile while making a difference in your community.

About you

You’ll need experience in delivering housing management services, plus an understanding of tenancy and neighbourhood management. It would be ideal if you have a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing - or you’d be willing to work towards it. You’ll bring a proven track record in managing anti-social behaviour, as well as a strong knowledge of rent collection processes and legal frameworks around income recovery. As you’ll be travelling across our Accent sites and estates, you’ll need a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
The successful candidate will undergo a DBS check as part of the pre-employment checks.

About the role

As a SHPS Housing Coach you will be working with individuals to prevent or relieve homelessness by sourcing affordable, suitable and sustainable private rented sector accommodation. You will also help individuals to address any other support needs they may have which are a barrier to achieving their goals and ending their homelessness by linking them with relevant agencies. This role requires skilled delivery of a range of interventions and a passion for working with those who face multiple disadvantages in society. We welcome candidates who can bring enthusiasm to learn, transferrable skills and/or have housing experience.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have transferrable skills and/or housing experience and can demonstrate skills and values in the following areas:

• Supporting people to prevent and relieve homelessness (through assessments, housing people, negotiating with landlords, advice and support to sustain tenancies)
• Demonstrating a pro-active and solution-focused approach to supporting individuals overcome barriers they are facing around housing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and results focused environment.
• Liaising and negotiating with a range of stakeholders effectively to achieve the best possible outcome for the people you work with (landlords, accommodation providers, local authorities, DWP, etc.).
• Actively contribute to sourcing suitable and affordable accommodation
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and administrative skills to manage a client caseload and own workload.
• You are pro-active and adaptable, uphold the dignity of all individuals you work with and demonstrate a willingness to follow best practice and a clear resolve to end homelessness.

About the role 

You will ensure you and your team will deliver high quality legal services and manage our Legal Aid Contract, with your main focus being on your own caseload and to manage and supervise the legal teams who are advocating for clients with housing issues, as well as bringing about systemic change. You will be dealing with personnel issues, providing professional support and supervision to your team, including but not limited to, independent file reviews (IFRs), time recording and good case management, as well as carrying your own caseload of housing litigation.

Contributing to the strategic direction of Shelter legal services nationally will be an important aspect of the role too, as will taking the lead on delivering strategic change aligned to Shelter’s strategy and ensuring Legal aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.

You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Head of Legal Services, the Hub Management Team and teams within Communications, Policy and Campaigns and Business Development. As a key member of the management team, you will also get to play your part in the management of our offices, including attending management team meetings and collaborating with other teams.

About you

1. You will be an experienced housing solicitor, court advocate, carrying your own caseload as well as managing and supervising others.

2.  You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification legal practice experience

3. You will have supervisor status and have substantial knowledge of housing and homelessness law.

4. You are able to carry out research and policy analysis in the areas of housing, homeless and welfare law, produce reports and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and for general enquiries - managing the everyday admin — phone calls, emails, and unexpected (sometimes bizarre!) requests — with sensitivity and efficiency, filtering out what doesn’t need to reach senior staff.

Essential Qualities
