The Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) is a human rights and feminist
organisation led by and for Latin American migrant women in the UK. Our work is dedicated to
supporting the immediate and long-term needs of Latin American migrant women exposed to
violations of their fundamental human rights; facing violence against women and girls,
exploitation or trafficking; enduring difficult living and working conditions in low paid jobs, and
facing barriers to social protection.
The post holder will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of LAWRS’
policy, advocacy, and communications strategy to tackle the issues affecting migrant women in
the UK labour market, in particular those who are survivors of trafficking and exploitation, and
will work jointly with LAWRS’ policy team and the frontline teams.

This post is open to Latin American women only* in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. We

About the Role

As a IDVA you will provide high quality support to victims of domestic violence and abuse. You will deliver and provide support in five key areas to support victims to:

• Feel safer
• Feel informed about their rights and the criminal justice system
• Feel listened to and heard
• Be able to implement healthy coping mechanisms
• Be connected with services who are available to help them

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide appropriate non-therapeutic support to victims of domestic abuse via their preferred contact method.
• Undertake needs and risk assessments to develop tailored individual safety and support plans to address the specific needs of the victim.
• Use a bespoke case management system to maintain accurate and confidential record keeping and contribute to the collection of outcomes.
• Liaise with the police, social services, CPS, and other agencies on the client's behalf, with the client's consent maintaining confidentiality
• Provide information to victims to enable them to make informed choices about their future options. Ensuring that the voices, needs, rights and legal entitlements of older people are heard and understood by all individuals and organisations.

About You:

Ideally, you will hold an approved and accredited IDVA qualification (or you must be willing to work towards one)

You will need:

• A strong understanding of domestic abuse and violence and the impact this has on victims.
• Experience of working with victims of crime (preferably domestic abuse) including completing risk assessments and safety planning
• Experience of managing a caseload and keeping clear case management records.
• Experience of adapting communication styles to be able to effectively communicate.
• An understanding of trauma informed practice and how to implement this within your work
• A through understanding of the criminal justice system and the Victim's Code
• An understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and other legal requirements
• Good IT skills including experience with working within bespoke case management systems and using Microsoft Office Packages.
• Organised and methodical approach to work with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload

JOB FUNCTION: To lead the day-to-day delivery and development of the Foundation’s grant-making and charitable partnerships portfolio, acting as a key relationship owner for grantees and charity partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grant-making & Portfolio Management

• Support the delivery and oversight of the Foundation’s grants portfolio, acting as a key point of contact for funded organisations and ensuring high-quality stewardship.

Charitable Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with charity partners across priority themes and geographies.

We are now seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation through the next phase of its evolution, maintaining and building upon its established reputation and influence. In addition, they should have senior management training or equivalent experience and a clear record of continuing professional development. Accountable to our Board of Trustees and the wider membership, the new CEO will develop the strategic direction of the Association and lead the organisation to deliver a rolling medium-term Strategic Business Plan, balanced budgets and effective governance in compliance with company and charity law. An ability to prioritise planned and reactive work programmes to meet the needs of our membership is required, alongside the sourcing and delivery of timely bids for external funding together with the management of staff and resources to ensure value for money and staff wellbeing.

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is seeking a Trade Union Project Officer to help strengthen our organising, bargaining and employment relations work across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to use their research, communication and analytical skills to make a real difference to the working lives of physiotherapy staff.

You will play a central role in ensuring that reps and members are equipped with high‑quality, accessible and timely information on employment and trade union matters. You will develop, draft and update a wide range of resources, from briefings and reports to guidance, consultation responses and content for print and digital channels.

A key part of the role will be supporting bargaining and negotiation at local, regional, country and UK levels. You will source and analyse quantitative and qualitative information to determine and develop information resources and potential projects.

You will also have the opportunity to lead and support discrete pieces of project work, providing expertise and backfill as needed, contributing to the wider programme of work across the directorate.

Working arrangements

Hybrid working

The CSP operates a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work between their home and the office. While we do not stipulate the number of days in the office, employees can decide, through discussions with their line managers, how, when, and where they work best, balancing the needs of the CSP, the team, and themselves. Employees are still expected to attend the office for in-person meetings when required for their role and the organisation. We are looking for a Support Services Officer to work alongside our nurse team to provide administrative support, with a particular focus on managing financial assistance delivered through the Rebuilding Futures Fund.

As a centre of expertise for after-care and support, we have established a successful Rebuilding Futures Fund (RFF), providing financial, practical and emotional support to people of all ages affected by meningitis across the UK.

About the Job

This role includes a wide range of administrative tasks – working with financial systems, maintaining accurate database records, coordinating the ordering of goods and services, and liaising with a variety of stakeholders. You will also communicate directly with individuals and families who have been impacted by meningitis. We are looking for someone who is organised, detail oriented, flexible, and able to demonstrate empathy and compassion for those we support.

Administration:

• Act as the primary point of contact for RFF-related work, both internally and externally, liaising with the nurse team regarding decisions and agreed actions.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Information and Support Team across all areas of service delivery.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the RFF, including creating and refining processes and procedures.
• Process all RFF applications, including conducting initial assessments.
• Coordinate the ongoing distribution and monitoring of financial awards.
• Support the marketing and promotion of the RFF, including maintaining website content and developing case studies.
• Prepare financial and activity reports in advance of monthly RFF panel meetings.

The Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (RSTMH) is a charity and membership society for those working or interested in tropical medicine and global health. We currently have around 2,000 members and Fellows from more than 100 countries, with a network of more than 10,000 involved with our work in some way.

RSTMH currently publishes two peer-reviewed scientific journals, Transactions of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (TRSTMH) and International Health. TRSTMH was launched in 1908, is published monthly, and is a hybrid journal. International Health was launched in 2009, is published bi-monthly, and is Open Access. In September 2025, we announced the development of a new journal looking at the use of Artificial Intelligence in Global Health, which will be launching around May 2026. All three journals are published by Oxford University Press (OUP) and are supported by a global team of dedicated Editorial Boad members.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with relevant publishing experience to support the operation of our three academic journals. The role will involve providing administrative and editorial support to the Managing Editor, liaising with our authors, reviewers, external editors, and publishing partner, contributing to and - where appropriate - leading on journal development initiatives, and collaborating with internal teams within the RSTMH.

The role

• Check new submissions to ensure that they are in scope and formatted as per journal guidelines, before assigning to handling editors.
• Check revised submissions are formatted as per journal guidelines, before assigning to handling editors
• Check and export accepted manuscripts to production team at OUP, working with the Editors in Chief (EiC) to ensure all required information is included.
• Monitor manuscripts in process, working with editors, reviewers, authors and Managing Editor to identify and reduce unnecessary delays for authors.
• Be the first point of contact for authors, editors, and reviewers by monitoring the journals inbox, helping to resolve any disputes that arise within the peer review process or escalating to Managing Editor, as necessary within agreed timings.
• Help manage the relationships with RSTMH Editorial Boards through regular communication (e.g., Newsletters) in addition to reminders/assignment emails sent through the submission system.
• Assist the Managing Editor with administrative tasks for the journals including coordinating meetings Editorial Boards, publisher, etc., setting up webinars, taking minutes of key meetings.

• Work with Editorial Board to identify articles with wider interest and highlight them to Managing Editor, EiCs, RSTMH team and publisher, and consider ways of further promoting them to raise the profile of the journals and RSTMH.
• Utilise social media and other digital publishing technologies (X, LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts, etc) to promote published articles/new issues and raise the profile of the journals.
• Develop journal news/content for the RSTMH Newsletter website, and social media
• Help ensure the work and outputs of the journals are integrated with other areas of RSTMH, through sharing information across systems
• Support the Managing Editor with the implementation of RSTMH strategic objectives and OUP Development Plans.
• Assist the Managing Editor with new business including researching and identifying authors and groups for potential commissioned articles or supplements
