What you’ll do
As Course Tutor, you will play a key role in delivering the Pg Dip in Child and Young People’s Psychological Trainings, combining your clinical expertise with teaching, assessment and trainee support to help practitioners develop their skills in evidence-based work with children, young people and families.

Key details
Hours: Part-time (7 hours per week): Mondays or Tuesdays. Some flexible working is possible.
Salary: £53,560 - FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme
Location: Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH). Flexibility will be required to attend in-person teaching days during term time (Tuesdays).

Help sustain Palestine's first and only licensed palliative care service
Bethlehem Care & Hospice Trust (BCHT) is a small UK charity supporting the development of specialist palliative and hospice care in Palestine. In August 2023, the service we support became the first licensed palliative care service in Palestine. Since then, its specialist nurses have cared for more than 350 patients and their families and delivered more than 5,000 home visits.
The service has demonstrated what can be achieved. Our challenge now is to secure its future. We are investing in professional fundraising for the first time and are looking for an experienced Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser to help us build the sustainable income needed to protect and strengthen this pioneering service.
The opportunity
This is an unusually autonomous role in which you will work directly with BCHT's Trustees and colleagues in Palestine. You will take responsibility for developing income from charitable trusts, foundations and grant-making organisations: identifying prospects, developing compelling propositions, preparing high-quality applications and building long-term funder relationships.
We currently raise approximately £60,000-£80,000 each year against a core service requirement of around £150,000. Your initial focus will therefore be sustainability of the existing service, with opportunities subsequently to support its development and growth. Our Year 1 income target for this role is £70,000.
This role could be for you if you have proven experience of successful trusts and foundations fundraising; can demonstrate success in preparing grant applications; write persuasively; can research and develop a strong prospect pipeline; are highly organised; can work independently; and would value the opportunity to use your professional expertise to make a direct and measurable difference.
Experience of healthcare, hospice or palliative care, international development, small charities or faith-based organisations would be useful but is not essential.

Working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team, you will lead the development and delivery of Runnymede’s fundraising strategy, identifying and securing funding opportunities across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, consultancy, individual giving and high-net-worth individuals. As Service Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring older people access high-quality, person-centred support. You will coordinate and deliver services, build relationships with partners, referrers and volunteers, and help shape new projects that improve wellbeing and reduce isolation across the community.

· Being the operational point of contact for the Ageing Well Southwark contract.

· Substantial experience (typically gained over three years or more) of working directly with people who require support.

Our new Head of Education (HoE) will provide strategic direction to, and oversight for, all activities within our Education Department, including age 5 – 18 education and Higher Education. This will include responsibility for the annual budget, the line management of our Education Team, and liaison with our Education and Joint Higher Education Committees to deliver impactful and accessible initiatives that promote awareness and understanding of the Earth and beyond. Working in partnership with senior staff, our Education Committee, and Trustees, you will advance the Society’s Education objectives in line with our Education Strategy, providing expertise and strategic direction to ensure the development of trusted Education initiatives for all ages.
You will be designing, planning, and delivering projects aimed at improving learning outcomes for young people, students, key stakeholders, and the wider geoscience community, as well as participating in government consultation and policy work where relevant.
