Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Location: Based in our London office, E1, with the requirement to travel as needed. Approx. one day a week in London but we are open to a range of flexible working options in line with Crisis’ Hybrid-Working Policy.

Hours: 35 per week

Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract

Here at Crisis, we’ve launched a new brand, marketing and fundraising strategy which centres around four growth areas we’ve named the ‘Fab Four’: regular giving, mid-value, high-value and legacy. Three of these areas sit within the Individual Giving team so it’s an exciting time to join the organisation, to be bold, make a real impact and embed this new approach and strategy.

We’re looking someone with a strategic mindset who can manage and shape our ambitious Development programme, and lead the team to create a high-performing plan to grow our community of supporters and continue building a sustainable income pipeline. We are looking for someone who is energised by growth, has creative ambition, an analytical brain and is passionate about being part of an organisation who will end homelessness.

About the role

As a Senior Lead in Individual Giving & Supporter Experience, you’ll manage a high-performing team and oversee a varied programme of supporter communications and journeys. We are more ambitious than ever, and this role will have income responsibility of over £15m, so you will be working across complex and large-scale budgets and communication plans. Working across departments, you’ll embed a collaborative and insight-led approach to donor retention and supporter experience. 

You will lead the strategic planning and delivery of supporter development activity, from multi-channel appeals to tailored stewardship, and helping to grow income from regular giving and repeat giving audiences, as well as collaborating with Acquisition and Mid-Value and Legacy teams to grow a sustainable income pipeline. The warm Christmas appeal will be a key campaign moment in your year, and you’ll help ensure new supporters feel thanked, inspired, and motivated to stay with us for the long term. 

You’ll also help build the business case for future supporter Development investment and flex to support the wider Individual Giving and Supporter Experience team as priorities shift.

You have collective responsibility with your lead peers in the expansion of year-round campaigns, Regular Giving and Legacy expressions of interest. These are our team goals, in which we all play our part.

About you

• A commitment to ending homelessness and to Crisis’ values of being bold, impactful, collaborative and equitable
• Extensive experience in the strategic planning and delivery of large-scale, direct marketing programmes, ideally with a focus on retention and supporter development
• Knowledge of relationship marketing techniques and supporter engagement strategies, with an understanding of how to build long-term supporter value
• Experience leading, supporting and coaching a team through a busy period while maintaining performance, wellbeing and supporting development
• Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills
• A track record of delivery growth, strong ROI and optimising and improving development/loyalty/retention campaigns and programmes
• Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
• Experience of managing external marketing and creative agencies, printers, and mailing house
• Experience managing significant budgets across income and expenditure

The Living Wage Foundation is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Media and Communications Manager to join our team for a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and proactive communications professional with a strong background in media relations, public messaging, and team leadership. The Director of Finance will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team, with responsibility for the strategic and day to day management of Cathedral Finances. They will support the ongoing development and implementation of its multi year financial plan to underpin the Cathedral’s Strategic Plan.

Role Summary 

The Programme Officer UK will be instrumental in providing administrative support for the successful delivery of our three programme strands across the UK. Reporting to the Joint Head of Programmes (Nations Lead), this role ensures the smooth and efficient running of projects by managing key organisational tasks, providing high quality customer service and supporting specific activities including data driven targeted work. Working closely with Programme Leads, Programme Coordinators and the wider team, the Programme Officer UK will play a vital role in maintaining seamless administration activities, contributing to the successful delivery and impact of our programmes.   

Main Responsibilities: 

• Provide administrative support for the delivery of cross-programme activity in all four nations, including training for teachers and careers professionals, workshops, conferences and events.
• Meet regularly with each of the nations’ teams to ensure a joined-up approach and understanding of the place-based programme activity and requirements in each area.
• Oversee and support the management and maintenance of the CRM database of nations’ place-based activity across the UK, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.
• Assist with data collection and evaluation for reporting to funders by ensuring accurate data input and collection from relevant stakeholders including liaison with the Research and Data Coordinator. 
• Collaborate with the Marcomms team to assist in promoting the programme across all communication channels, including signups to our training programme for educators, entries to our filmmaking competitions, the Into Film Awards, and bookings for the Into Film Festival, Spring Screenings and other events for our Screen Careers programme. 
• Work with Marcomms and Programme Coordinators to run targeted marketing campaigns to increase and drive engagement in our place-based targeted areas across the UK.
• Assist in desk-based research to identify partners and organisations (including schools) to engage underserved and underrepresented young people in our programmes, sourcing relevant external information from across the education, youth and film industry sectors. 
• Working with Programme Leads to support the development and delivery of our Youth Advisory Council and Education Ambassador initiatives.
• Undertake additional general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the team including but not limited to customer support cases, equipment and materials inventory and orders, booking travel, processing invoices and regional social media channels, 
• Represent Into Film at conferences and events as required.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned by Into Film.

General Responsibilities: 

• Commitment to quality internally and in all dealings with Into Film’s stakeholders including teachers, children and young people, industry partners, funders, supporters, parents and carers, and members of the public.

Person Specification: 

• Experience in administrative support, with strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload. 
• Confidence using CRM systems for accurate data input, analysis and reporting. 
• Clear and effective communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. 
• Good understanding of the UK education landscape and how film can be used in educational settings, along with awareness of the UK screen industry. 
• Strong digital skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and general confidence with online systems and tools. 
• Ability to support or contribute to marketing activity, such as email campaigns or targeted outreach. 
• A proactive, adaptable and detail-focused approach, with the ability to work remotely. 
• An interest in film and a commitment to engaging and supporting young people through creative opportunities. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• Experience, knowledge and understanding of using CRM for analysis, insights and reporting.  
• Proven track record and demonstratable experience in an administrative role.
• Excellent project and time management skills, an ability to prioritise a busy work schedule and to work remotely as required. 
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Awareness and good understanding of the education market, curricula and how teachers can use film across the UK.
• Awareness and understanding of the screen industry landscape across the UK.  
• Experience of cross-team working. 

Desirable: 

• Experience of developing and implementing email campaigns.

The role 
We are looking for a Youth Outreach Practitioner for our Glasgow team and are keen to receive applications from those living in and around the City of Glasgow.  You’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering Railway Children’s programme in the UK, in partnership with British Transport Police (BTP).  

As a Youth Outreach Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in keeping children safe from harm by engaging in patrols to identify and safeguard young people (aged 10-17) at risk of criminal and sexual exploitation, county lines, missing from home, homelessness or family breakdown.  

You will also work closely with our Youth Practitioner, supporting a number of young people who have been identified or referred for 1-1 direct support.

Both aspects of the role will involve working directly with young people and their families to reduce risks, as well as building strong relationships other social care, Police, third sector agencies and local services in the area.  

Your base would be near to Glasgow Central Station with regular travel between the station and working in the boroughs of North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Glasgow and Renfrewshire. This role involves some evenings and weekend hours.   

About you 

You will have experience of successfully engaging and supporting young people and families as well as working in an outreach or similar setting, in a creative and engaging way with young people with a range of needs and vulnerabilities.   

A relevant qualification in an appropriate discipline in working with children and families, community or youth work or equivalent experience is desirable. Alongside this relevant training in safeguarding and/or issues relevant to vulnerable young people and families is essential.

You will need to have experience of providing front line support to safeguard some of the most vulnerable young people in the UK.

Experience of developing productive relationships/partnerships with a variety of organisations such as 3rd sector group, local services and statutory services such a social care to support the needs of vulnerable young people and families is a must.

About the Role
