Digital Change Manager

Role purpose 

Adoption UK is undertaking a major digital transformation, initially focused on CRM and Website developments. Our Digital Transformation Team will drive this change programme, working with colleagues and external digital partners; and subsequently deliver our on-going digital strategy implementation and development. 

You will support the Digital Transformation Lead to refine and implement Adoption UK’s digital strategy, to deliver our digital transformation project. Working with internal and external stakeholders the team will ensure that the project’s vision and scope meet the business and operational needs of the charity. An important part of your role will be to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and particularly with our Marketing and Communications team to integrate digital into all current and upcoming projects. 

We’re looking for someone who has experience of project working in a digital environment, particularly within website and CRM implementation. 

Background – our digital transformation 

Like many charities, we’ve historically developed our digital framework and footprint organically, with insufficient web and CRM integration and functionality, duplication and data silos; resulting in data management and website functionality that don’t meet all our users’ needs. We’re changing all that by: 

1. Investing in our customer-facing website and data management systems; connecting all our divisions and services, delivering integrated systems that provide a positive customer and stakeholder journey.
2. Developing the next generation of digitally accessible services 
3. Extending our in-house digital capability to support continuous delivery. 

Key accountabilities: 

• Support the Digital Transformation Lead to implement the charity’s digital strategy.

• Coordinate data and content activities, including migration between platforms, to deliver our website and CRM digital transformation programme.

• Utilise and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation and with current and future digital partners. Use these networks to: 

• embed digital first principles and best practice. 

• Train, coach and mentor colleagues to be effective users of our CRM and website. 

• Progress opportunities to increase our digital capability and integrate digital into our current and upcoming work. 

• Utilise the digital performance assessment framework to monitor compliance with digital and data best practice standards. 

• Assist in maintaining our data security standards compliance, participating in quality assurance activities. 

• Work collaboratively with our external digital and IT partners. 

Essential Criteria 

• Significant experience of website and CRM implementation and data/content management. 

• Good general knowledge and experience of organisational IT systems, including cloud and M365 applications. 

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Able to convey complex or technical information simply and clearly. 

• Experience of IT/Digital supplier engagement. Able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Experience of working in a digital project/change environment. 

• Ability to work under pressure and to respond quickly to changing circumstances and to tight timetables 

Desirable criteria 

• Experience of working in an organisation which uses agile development methodologies. 

• A strong understanding of the National Cyber Security Centre principles and approach and General Data Protection regulations principles, audit and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Implementation (Online & Offline)

• Key operational lead, deputising for the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies, taking responsibility for the planning and delivery of campaigns and activity across channels and supporter journeys.

• Develop and implement activity to attract new supporters through an integrated mix of channels, including social platforms (paid and unpaid), search engine advertising, email marketing, and offline appeals.

• Manage relationships with external partners, including creative, fundraising, and digital marketing agencies, ensuring high-quality delivery and ROI.

• Develop and execute integrated campaigns where ultimate conversion may occur via traditional channels such as telephone or mail, taking a holistic approach to acquire and convert new supporters.

• Analyse metrics and data, reporting on KPIs, budget, and spend. Work to constantly test and optimise campaigns to exceed targets and improve return on investment.

• Support forecasting and budget planning on marketing activities within the IG budget.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies, ensuring our fundraising efforts remain innovative and effective.

Stewardship, Content & Operations

• Develop and deliver personalised relationship-building communications and initiatives that recognise supporter loyalty and deepen their connection to the impact of their support.

• Oversee the operational delivery of supporter communications, including the development of processes for bespoke and workflow-delivered thanking and nurturing.

• Create and optimise content, sometimes cross team and directly with our incredible patients and supporters.

• Build journeys that maximise conversions and build loyalty. This includes high-quality creative fundraising writing, concepting, and messaging development.

• Ensure all supporters are thanked and updated in an appropriate and timely manner, working with the team to ensure coverage and that all interactions are in line with our supporter promise.

• Cultivate deeper engagement with supporters beyond transactional interactions, explore opportunities for meaningful dialogue and a sense of community. 

Collaboration & Cross-Selling

• Work with the wider PCR team to maximise opportunities for fundraising and patient impact, specifically leading on cross-selling meaningful cash and support propositions to other audiences (e.g., events participants, community fundraisers, and campaigners).

• Work with Agile principles in mind, collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to plan and deliver high-quality work.

• Build key relationships across teams within and outside Public Fundraising to achieve successful fundraising outcomes.

• As required, represent PCR externally, promoting our work and building long-term relationships with stakeholders. 

Database and Compliance

• Develop your existing experience and affinity for supporter data to improve outcomes for supporters.

• Hold a very good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, as well as the Fundraising Code of Practice.

• Work with our tools and seek to improve knowledge and use of these, including Access CRM, Fundraise Up, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Wordpress and MailChimp.

Skills and Competencies

Our ideal candidate would have the following:

• Fundraising Expertise: Proven experience in an Individual Giving role(s) with a track record of managing both digital acquisition and offline appeals (direct mail/telemarketing) for a charity or social cause, as well as significant experience in retention, marketing communications, supporter services.

• Agency Management: Experience managing creative, fundraising and digital marketing agencies, to deliver a variety of campaigns or activities across multiple channels.

• Digital Proficiency: Demonstrable expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta Business Suite, Google paid advertising, and email marketing platforms like Mailchimp.

• Strategic Thinking: Evidence of leading successful integrated campaigns resulting in significant income or lead generation.

• Audience development: Led development of successful new propositions for cross-selling across existing audiences.

• Creative Skills: The ability to motivate and inspire audiences through content and creative writing and storytelling for various channels.

• Financial Acumen: The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on campaigns across all channels.

• Supporter Experience: A strong desire to provide excellent supporter experience and customer journeys to everyone who encounters PCR.

• Collaborative Mindset: A collaborative and innovative mindset with a desire to test, learn, and work with stakeholders cross-functionally.

• Agile Working: Experience working within Agile project management frameworks would be beneficial.

• Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of WordPress website optimisation and plugins, or a strong desire to learn.

• Passion: A strong belief in the work we do at PCR, and a demonstrable desire to improve outcomes for patients through our work in fundraising.

DIGITAL PLATFORMS & CONTENT MANAGEMENT (50%)

• Manage Mission 44’s communications calendar, ensuring timely and consistent content across website, email newsletter, and social media channels.
• Coordinate content scheduling, publishing and distribution to maximise reach and engagement.
• Maintain and update the Mission 44 website to meet organisational and audience needs, including publishing content and ensuring accuracy and consistency.

CONTENT PRODUCTION (20%)

• Support the planning and delivery of creative content and digital campaigns to drive engagement and increase impact.

Responsibilities

As the Governance Operations Officer you will support Sightsavers governing boards, as well as working with UK Board and its sub committees, ensuring that they are provided with a comprehensive and efficient support service, enabling them to discharge their roles. Duties and responsibilities include: 

Board Administration – manage and facilitate the smooth running of all meetings: 

• Preparation of agendas, papers, minutes and their circulation for meetings.

• Booking teleconferences and venues, notifying participants of date and time and providing them meeting details. 

• Liaising with partner organisations on coordinating bookings, accommodation and logistics for physical and hybrid meetings. 

• Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes and circulating these in a timely manner as required. 

Planning and Coordination 

• Scheduling the meetings and ensuring that the specific constitutional conditions of the relevant boards are met. 

• Provide administrative support to the Safeguarding team on record keeping and meetings. 

Insurance 

• Coordinate and assist with the renewal and procurement of Sightsavers Group insurance policies, including life, medical, travel, liability and premises insurance. 

• Manage the record keeping associated with Sightsavers’ insurance policies and any associated claims. 

Governance, Compliance and Risk Management 

• Manage activities related to matters of organisational governance, including the outputs from internal and external governance reviews, changes in legislation, best practice and strategic direction.

• Advise and support on matters of best practice in the area of Charity Governance. 

• Support the Information Security, Compliance and Legal teams on projects relating to data protection, information security and organisational compliance.

As a Supporter Care Officer you will play a crucial role in being the first point of contact for supporters, delivering an excellent support experience. ​

You will: ​

• Lead on thanking supporters for all our existing Appeals, Core Campaigns and National Events; working with other teams to ensure that supporters are thanked in a timely manner
   
• Work with the Community Fundraising Team to evaluate the next best ask and proactively contact supporters with promoting fundraising and campaigning products for new and existing supporters
   
• Support all new Individual Giving and Supporter Care activities
   
• Provide excellent customer service to existing and potential new supporters offering an empathetic and supportive service via the main telephone line, email and general correspondence ​

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EXECUTIVE SUPPORT TO THE CEO (70%)

Provide high-quality, proactive executive support to the CEO, ensuring they are able to operate effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Manage the CEO’s complex and evolving diary, including scheduling internal and external meetings, prioritising requests, anticipating conflicts, and ensuring time is protected for strategic priorities.
Coordinate all CEO travel and logistics, including itineraries, briefings, and expense processing, ensuring a seamless and well-prepared experience.
Act as a trusted first point of contact for the CEO, handling enquiries with discretion and professionalism and ensuring timely, high-quality communication with internal and external stakeholders.

GOVERNANCE AND SENIOR LEADERSHIP COORDINATION (15%)

Support the effective functioning of Mission 44’s Board and governance cycle, working closely with the Chief of Staff to coordinate Board and Committee meetings throughout the year.
Manage end-to-end logistics for Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, circulation of papers, and maintaining a forward planner for the governance calendar.
Support the preparation and circulation of high-quality Board materials, ensuring papers are accurate, timely, and clearly presented.

DELIVERY, CULTURE AND ORGANISATIONAL IMPACT  (15%)

Play a hands-on role in delivering the smooth and effective operation of the Executive Office, coordinating meetings and supporting priorities to be executed to a high standard and on time.
Track actions and decisions arising from Board, SLT, and Executive Office meetings, following up with owners to support delivery and accountability across the organisation.
Contribute to the delivery of key organisational moments, such as team and SLT away days and Board meetings, supporting planning, logistics, and on-the-day execution.
Actively contribute to a positive, values-led culture by modelling professionalism, collaboration, and a delivery-focused mindset within the Executive Office and beyond.

ESSENTIAL 

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest levels of integrity, judgement, and discretion.

This is a rare opportunity for a dynamic, compassionate and person-centred Nurse Leader to deliver real impact for children and families.

In Scotland, three children die from a life-shortening condition every week. CHAS provides unwavering care for children who may die young, and their families. Our team includes Nurses, Doctors, AHPs, Social Workers and Family Support Specialists. They work across two children’s hospices, in community settings and in hospitals in deep partnership with NHS staff.

We are seeking a Chief Nurse to lead the delivery of our nursing services across all these settings. Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Family Support, you will lead a team of approximately 180 nursing staff working in all parts of Scotland.

You will inspire Nurses to deliver exceptional care every day. You will work closely and collaboratively with NHS Boards, HSCP’s and other organisations to plan seamless wrap-around care, which helps some of the most vulnerable families in Scotland.

Following a planned retirement and organisational restructure, this is a new role in a new structure. It offers a chance to join CHAS in a senior nursing role, set to shape the future of paediatric palliative care across Scotland.

About You

You will be an experienced Nurse Leader with a track record of delivering positive change across health care systems. Your experience will include:
