About the role

We are seeking an experienced and methodical Facilities Management Operations Analyst (CAFM & Ops) known internally as CAFM and Ops Performance Analyst, to join us here at the Francis Crick Institute.

This role will be a key part of the facilities team whose objective is to ensure that scientific research does not get disrupted due to building operational matters.

You will play a key role overseeing asset management and maintenance scheduling through our CAFM system (Planon), keeping operations efficient and uninterrupted.

You’ll use the CAFM system to monitor performance, produce KPI dashboards, and drive process improvements and system upgrades.

This is a pivotal role where your work will safeguard and strengthen the environment that enables ground breaking discoveries.

What you will be doing

At the Crick, you will:

• Be an operational owner and system administrator for the Crick’s CAFM system (Planon)
• Provide Management information to Department Heads and Service Leads, extract and manipulate data from the building systems, develop and build reports in line with user bespoke requirements using available IT tools. Develop and measure KPIs across building services functions, create dashboards to enable clear communication and monitoring of performance trends, ensuring relevant statutory and regulatory compliance is captured.
• Maintain the Planon system to ensure the Crick CAFM system remains at optimal performance and is fully supported.
• Identify, develop and manage continual improvements (including system version upgrades) to the CAFM system
• Support site audits of building and science equipment to ensure all recorded asset data is current and accurate.

About you

You will have:

• Experience of interrogating and reporting with CAFM systems and other Facilities related software packages*
• Experience in Power BI development, including data modelling, DAX, and creating and maintaining live dashboards with automated refresh using DirectQuery or live connections*
• Experience of developing, building and presenting management reports and supporting dashboards*
• Operational experience in managing / reporting on maintenance performance KPI’s/SLAs*
• Experience of working with Hard and Soft Facilities operational environments
• Experience of using the Planon CAFM platform (Desirable)

Context and Background

The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of its annual income. Within Fundraising, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible supporter experience by building long-term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.

The Mass Participation Team (MPT) is an important part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships department within the Engagement and Fundraising directorate. MPT is responsible for attracting new supporters through our mass participation events to maximise fundraised income, and to optimise onward journeys to retain supporters within the NSPCC family. 

The Mass Participation Team focuses on three areas of fundraising;

• Third party events – sporting events organised by third party suppliers, where we recruit participants and support them in raising money in aid of the NSPCC. For example, the London Marathon, Cardiff Half Marathon, Ultra Challenge series, skydives, bespoke treks.
• Schools Fundraising – a suite of fundraising products tailored to schools across all educational settings, including Number Day, the Kindness Challenge and Classmaster.
• DIY fundraising – supporters who choose to organise their own fundraising event or activity. Whether they take part with family or friends, at work or at school, we support them through stewardship and fundraising materials to help them reach their fundraising goals.

Job purpose

The role of the Senior Fundraiser is to project manage a number of fundraising activities within DIY fundraising and Schools Fundraising areas. The role will be responsible for managing DIY fundraising activity – managing acquisition and stewardship for DIY fundraisers, and playing a leading role in reviewing and streamlining user experience across mass, workplace and school audiences. The role will also take on project management of a Schools Fundraising product, managing all aspects of the product throughout its lifecycle. The Senior Fundraiser will be responsible for working as a proactive team member to ensure that the participation levels and net income from activities are maximised.

The key aspects of the role are:

• To play a key role in maximising income for the NSPCC from new and existing supporters through DIY/Schools fundraising activity.

·To project manage fundraising activities for mass audiences, taking responsibility for all aspects including planning and budget management, creative development, marketing and acquisition, stewardship build and evaluation.

·To take a proactive role in identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiencies, taking a data-led approach to inform recommendations

·To contribute to the development of new activities and build on existing activities to increase participation, remittance rates and income. 

• Work as part of the Mass Participation Team to deliver the overall department objectives.
• Evaluate the performance of specific activities and to provide financial information as required.

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll & Systems Manager to take ownership of payroll governance and HR/payroll systems for an organisation of around 350 staff, spanning salaried, hourly, and casual contracts. Payroll is outsourced, but this role is very much hands-on. You’ll be the expert voice in the room, the bridge between People & Culture, Finance, and our payroll provider, and the lead on shaping better, smarter systems for the future.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, timelines, and full UK statutory compliance

• Acting as the internal payroll specialist, confidently reviewing calculations, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments

• Managing payroll inputs for variable hours and timesheet-based staff

• Building a strong, effective relationship with our outsourced payroll provider and holding service standards high

• Spotting risks, fixing inefficiencies, and reducing manual workarounds through better processes and cleaner data

• Leading the selection and implementation of a new HR and payroll system, from business case to go-live

• Acting as system owner post-implementation, ensuring controls, optimisation, and user confidence

Role Overview: Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Fundraiser will lead funding  applications, relationship-building with donors and stakeholders, and the development of systems and tools to support sustainable growth and income generation through fundraising.

Role Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

• Inform development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the charity’s mission, long-term goals, and emerging priorities.
• Identify and develop fundraising-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO on funder requirements, including appropriate metrics, outcomes, and impact reporting expectations.

Fundraising and Income Generation:

• Develop a detailed fundraising blueprint, outlining language, approach, and strategy for each voluntary income stream (e.g. Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Legacy, Corporate Partnerships).
• Identify, develop, and submit funding bids and proposals.
• Ensure that the charity's website and digital channels are optimised to support fundraising efforts, including donor journey mapping and supporter newsletters.
• Develop, launch, and oversee a legacy donation programme, including campaign planning.
• Use and develop AI ‘training’ document/s to enhance the efficiency and quality of funding applications.

Relationship Building and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Map and cultivate relationships with donors, funders, members, and other stakeholders, including individuals within the network who have capacity to give.                                                       
• Attend the board’s fundraising subcommittee, working closely with the CEO and trustee board subcommittee representative to agree agendas and facilitate meetings.
• Provide regular updates to the CEO on fundraising progress, opportunities, challenges, and risks.
   

 Operational Development and Systems:

• Support the adoption and use of Beacon (CRM platform), contributing to the development of internal fundraising systems and processes.
   

General Responsibilities

• Uphold and promote EoLDUK’s mission, values, and policies.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all professional matters.
• Undertake additional duties related to fundraising as required by the EoLDUK CEO and Board.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, and business partnering across the organisation.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process, produce regular financial performance reports, and develop financial models to support key strategic decisions. You will ensure that the College’s leadership has access to clear, insightful analysis to guide financial and operational planning.

You will foster a culture of effective business partnering, providing expert financial advice and support to budget holders and colleagues across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the annual budgeting process and developing regular reforecasts in alignment with the College’s strategic priorities
• Producing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis
• Developing financial models to support key strategic and operational decisions
• Providing financial insight and advice to senior leadership and budget holders to support informed decision-making
• Line managing and developing the Finance Analyst, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensuring the integrity of financial information through robust processes, controls, and analytical review
• Partnering with the Financial Controller to support compliance, audit preparation, and financial controls
• Supporting finance system development and the use of tools such as Power BI for enhanced reporting

Essential skills and experience include:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial management roles
• Strong analytical skills and ability to provide clear, actionable insights
• Proven experience of leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience of financial modelling

Let’s Talk About Loss is delighted to be recruiting a part-time Charity Lead to guide us through an important transition period.

Founded in 2018, Let’s Talk About Loss supports young adults aged 18–35 who are bereaved, creating safe, supportive spaces to talk openly about grief. We are a small, values-led charity with a national reach, built on the power of community, peer support and shared experience.

This role has been created as maternity cover and will play a crucial part in delivering Year 1 of our new 2026–2029 strategy. We are looking for someone who can bring steadiness, organisation and care , ensuring our services continue safely and consistently, income generation is secure, and governance and safeguarding remain strong.

This is a delivery-focused leadership role, not a growth or expansion post. It would suit someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working closely with trustees and volunteers, and taking responsibility in a small organisation — for example, someone looking to grow their leadership experience, or to step sideways into a values-led role with real responsibility.
